What was the derogatory message? Can you post it here? |
Jodera:Comprehension is your problem hence you're laughing at your ignorance. I didn't say Boyfriends and girlfriend is recognized but I said it is "allowed". If it wasn't allowed people would have been arrested for keeping one. When you want to fill an official document and you're asked relationship with the individual you write friend . If you want to make the relationship official then you get married so that some rights and privileges become attached to the relationship. For example, prior to Nigeria banning same sex marriage, it was not allowed in our laws to have it. If you were caught then you would have still been arrested. According to USlegal.com Concubine refers to a woman who lives with a man to whom she is not married. Although a concubine serves the functions of a legal wife, she does not enjoy any rights in a family or any spiritual comforts. ... A concubine is denied certain legal protections. The dictionary defines fornication as consensual sexual intercourse between two persons not married to each other. David was a fornicator, pure and simple! Meanwhile according to you: In the days of David and Solomon God did not see this as a sin and instead he loved them to the point that one was referred to as a man after his heart. Now today someone is saying this is a sin God will kill us for even though it is in agreement with our laws and customs. This is a God that is referred to as one who does not change, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. SMH! |
Jodera:Concubine is allowed in the Hebrew law just the same way having a girlfriend relationship is also allowed in the Nigerian law. If you see my initial post before all your nonsense obstruction I said what Atagha and Chidinma had was allowed in our law. No one has disputed that Also there is a new twist in your post which says God allowed concubine in the days of David. Please so tell us at what time did God pass another law banning having concubine in our day |
Jodera:My brother I'm not interested in telling you any bedtime stories. How do you even know if the version you take is the right one? Were you there? My point is David was a fornicator and he was a man after God's heart. Was that true or false? Since you didn't respond to that I'll take it you agree. Good day!! |
zoedew:What I said is how the law will view the incident. God's precept for life? I always laugh at black people and their foolishness. If I explain your statement to you now, you will see you are already judging and the bible says in Matthew 7:1 not to judge. What I'm I saying? The man after God's heart in the bible was a very good fornicator who had many wives and a couple of girlfriends he slept with anytime he likes. It was so bad that when he died a virgin had to be brought to his bed and when he didn't respond they knew he was really dead. So please you are not God. Don't assume that role because you read a few scriptures. Those that read more scriptures than you avoid what you just did there. |
Curious345:It is because of excess kunu that's why his reasoning is poor. The first thing I will do is to serve him Kai Kai AKA Sapele water and I will ensure he drinks it |
The west is funding ISIS so what are they saying here |
I also used drugs in my university days and it didn't turn me to a killer. Ekez:She was already a killer. The drug only amplifies your inner ability |
zoedew:Oga please we should push morality aside. Morality is not a crime in Nigerian law. For example, it is not an offence for Mr. Atagha to sleep with Chidinma. The offence here is that she killed him. She wasn't raped. Anybody pushing that narrative is playing to the gallery. The girl should be given some years in prison. I do not support she should be killed even though she deserves it. |
michelz:So where are they from? Yoruba? Or where? |
The first thing shocking about this news is that cows are now being reared in the barracks. The second thing is the effontry of the UGM to enter the military area. And lastly I won't be surprised if this raid was carried out by one of those army kids. Most of them are just too rough. |
they are gradually trying to change the narrative to rape. |
Danny50:So why haven't they done that? |
rotadeco27:Oga Ehor is my village, I travel that axis very well. Every body that stay within the versinity knows that the Fulani kidnappers in the area move with AK47. Most vigilante in the area even know the hideout of the kidnappers. You don't need to believe me just ask around, make calls to people that stay within that area. They will get you good information. It's only our local vigilante that move with Dane gun. The police should explain who this guy is. I'm hoping he's not another innocent civilian who has been sent to his early grave |
This guy is not a kidnapper. The police should tell us the truth. The kidnappers in Ehor axis move with more sophisticated weapons than that of the police. The kidnappers in that axis are also Fulanis. None of them move with a Dane gun. I'm just hoping this is not another innocent individual that has been killed in the police custody and been labelled a kidnapper. |
I'm really happy hearing this. I hope those that voted for this system are enjoying this. The Gumi himself should be happy we have an idiot in power otherwise he himself would have been held by the DSS to explain his role in the latest kidnappings ravaging the country. |
If we sit down and analyse most of our past leaders, how the country was before they came in, their intentions and what they achieved. You will find that we might not really be suffering from bad leadership but a faulty foundation (the constitution). Obasanjo once said even Jesus Christ will become corrupt if he was to rule Nigeria. |
Ever8090:Most of these guys will be freed if they know their way. |
webizone:Na wa o. So I go dey teach you how to download again? Didn't you see a blue download button there? Oga if you no see am rest. |
supportnija:Just a quick question to refresh your mind. SARS was created not too long. Before the creation of SARS, were the police fighting thieves or not? If the answer is yes. Then we can revert back to the old method. SARS were not fighting thieves, they themselves became the thieves. |
webizone:Here is a link to it I couldn't upload it here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BcjZwYluFQcW46YoQN1q_oHroaeeHTpp/view?usp=drivesdk |
kay29000:Here is a link to the video https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BcjZwYluFQcW46YoQN1q_oHroaeeHTpp/view?usp=drivesdk |
webizone:The video is 50mb. I can't post it here |
kay29000:Ok the video couldn't send in Nairaland because it's 50mb size. Apparently the largest size of video that can be sent is 4mb. |
kay29000:The event you're talking about is different from what I'm talking about. The incident you're referring to led to the arrest to zakzaky. The one I'm referring to was to protest for the release of Zakzaky. I've been trying to upload the video since yesterday but it's not going through. They were killed for merely protesting, it's not half truth. Only say what you know. I will try if I can get the video in YouTube as it was compiled by Amnesty international |
Map1:Are you kidding me? Have you not seen the video where the shites were massacred by the army just for partaking in a protest. Even children were killed. If you haven't seen the video let me know so I show you |
Agbegbaorogboye:Oga the truth is that this is fake news. The reason the guy said this is what is written on this thread https://www.nairaland.com/6607387/garba-shehu-twitter-suspension-reduced They thought that by eliminating Twitter, fake news will stop but FFK is telling them Instagram is also available. What a life. |
Tajbol4splend:When nonsense is being repeated unchallenged people begin to feel it's sensible to be stupid. How has the people (using any country) been a problem to any democracy. You can use any country you like as a case study. Nigeria is the only country where I see a failure in leadership and instead of the leaders accepting blame they start saying the followers are to blame. In every faulty democracy there is a cause. In the case of Nigeria, it is the foundation. We simply copied the entire American system of democracy without recourse to the fact that some of those policies will not fit into our system. For example, the extreme power given to the executive in Nigerian politics is nonsense, infact they are now emperors. The people (followers) don't make laws, they don't make policies. They only vote and sometimes risk their lives to forcefully remove a dictator. There is no country in the world that have a united follower. What you can have is majority supporting a cause, for example during IBB regime, many of us supported a particular cause which was to evict the military and replace it with democracy. Today the dynamics has changed. Infact the reason why your leaders appears to be so powerful is a result of the foundation of democracy we practice here. Those things are not changed by the people but by leaders. |
sammyj:You might not be far from the truth. Gambia is a Fulani country. |
One of the reasons I'm just laughing at this development is because of a popular saying that "when you cook for your community they will eat it all and thank you but when the entire community cooks for you, oga you are done" |
BuyAndSellStuff:Baba God bless you there. I had already given my post before realizing you had already said something similar. That was how they were also calling Abacha the most evil dictator in Africa, can you beat that? |
Personally I don't think Saddam Hussein should be on such list. If he is here then some past American president deserves to also be in the list. It was a president (Harry Truman?) that ordered the use of atomic bombs in Japan and we know the result of that. I'm not saying Hussein is a good man but to say he is one of the most evil people the world have seen is going too far. Meanwhile there was a book I was reading sometime ago, authored by one American organization where they also listed the most evil African leaders. I was surprised to see Abacha on the list. I'm not saying these men are good but these titles are kind of going too far. |
