Dating And Meet-up Zone / Re: Internet Dating Sites? by kimba(m): 2:08am On Jan 09, 2007
the "so much" scepticism about online dating sites / relationships that come out of them in Nigeria is just about the same kind of scepticism with everything that goes on in Nigeria.

here: for the fact that things that are seen aren't that sure, how much more of others unseen.

They use to say that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Besides the fact that Nigerians are a special breed of people, especially those that live in Nigeria, i mean 'special breed'. If you dont shine your eyes well, well, you might be surprised when white will turn to red.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Israel Plans Nuclear Strike On Iran by kimba(m): 2:01am On Jan 09, 2007
Is it really Israel that is looking for Iran's trouble or U.S President Bush that is offering Israel some moral support? It is time to divert attention from Iraq. Its time to get more soldiers and civilians killed.

@Seun

In business, there's room for all of us to work hard and make money.
As long as there are problems, there will be business opportunities.
One man's painful problem is another man's abundant profit opportunity.
One man's spoilt television set is an electrician's profit opportunity.
One man's NEPA problem is another man's generator servicing opportunity.
One man's problem getting laid is another man's dating service opportunity.

so your idea of dating is for the purpose of getting laid? or vice-versa!!!

Crime / Re: Ainetbiz.com!!!!! is this a scam? by kimba(m): 10:54pm On Jan 08, 2007
chickalo:

I got a text from one ainetbiz telling me to send a text to mtn, that costs N100.00 which I did and they sent me pin number to sign up in their website, after everything I was told to order for at least one stuff from their list, the least of which costs N990.00 to be paid to their account in UBA and intercontinental before i can activate my account. Could this be a scam?
If they collected your N1,000.00 as easy as you have enumerated above, then pls what is your phone number. You would register at my site and pay another N1,000.00 into my account.

Business / Re: Do Nigerians Make Money Legally On The Internet? by kimba(m): 10:48pm On Jan 08, 2007
get paid reading emails? B.S

Yes, there are a whole lot of ways to make money online and make it legally, but the bad fact is that the Nigerian reputation is so physically bad that when you talk online, people run and run fast away from you.

anyway, keep on the good work, Rome was not built in a day.

If I were you, go into Software with a special focus on game programming. If you are good, the money will be too much for your bank account.

thank you o jare. How many Nigerian reporters have 2-heads to say that they want to go to America to film slums and ghettos and show to the African world(even on Nigerian TV) that some people are suffering in America?

people that got scholarships to go study in America are even denied visas, how much more a 2-headed journalist.
Its not their fault, if you ask me.

Romance / Re: What Would You Do In This Case? by kimba(m): 4:19am On Jan 06, 2007
I thot that in such a relationship, there must have been something called "courtship" before the actual marriage. THat is when the spouse should have kept ears, mouth, nose and everything opened to know "the koko" before saying "I DO".

which cult by the way? as long as the other spouse is not an armed robber. If he is, she better go to the police - fast.
Romance / Re: Ugly Girls: Eyah by kimba(m): 4:16am On Jan 06, 2007
Ive come to find out that ladies who were not so pretty in their childhood or even in their 20s usually end up prettier in their 40s and 50s than ladies who were the definition of pretty at 20.

A particular lady just "bloomed" after their first child. Its usually the opposite for others.

I think we should be looking long-term here.

By the time im a grand-daddy, i still want my wife to be good looking.

When mommy and daddy named you "ade", they expected you to be someone who had a high standard of living, who had virtues and a goal in life. Its a shame that uve started 2007 without your "ade" o. Dec06 is not too far o, bros, you better go pick up the "ade" and stop disgracing yourself.
Family / Re: Kids Outside Wedlock? by kimba(m): 4:00am On Jan 06, 2007
@Radiant

lets call a spade a spade. your friend is seriously screwed up. Forget the out-of-wedlock, many kids are born out of wedlock stuff,

She wants to have kids with a man who would take care of her and the kids "on a monthly allowance basis" but she wont marry him, yet she wants to be called mommy? shes wicked. Out of wedlock equals fornication and such a child is a bastard.

ask her: was that the same arrangement that her father and mother made before she was born. Why deprive a child of his right to a family. So at the end of the day, she'll finally see another man who can take care of her better than the first one, and the other guy will find another woman who wants another arrangement. Then both begin fucking around. Her second child might be from another man altogether. She might just become Mrs Jackson. and she'll expect such children to become responsible members of the soceity?

Before, women who had kids out of wedlock were ashamed of themselves. They couldnt say it in public that they even had kids. Now it has become a matter of pride.

methinks: the fact that she allows such a thought to cross her mind, shes sick already. Pray for her. She needs help.

what is the classification of UGLY? - who is the "handsome" criteria. I saw someone last week and the first thing I thought was that his parents must have been very wicked. I could almost put my little finger into the depth of his facial-marks. I was actually wondering how he would fold up his handkerchief to clean in between the gutters on his face. Now, is such a man still "handsome".

what is the definition of rich or poor? rich enough to have 3-sq meals aday and to ride a bus to/from the office. Is a car and a house and an amount NGN is in the bank? is this part of the picture? or is it ok if he would always look to heaven each morning for "our daily bread"? - thats another level of spirituality, abi

bachelor's degree should be the minimum and phd the maximum.

The kind of PhDs produced in Nigeria now adays, only God will help us o. I cant speak of other subjects, but take subjects like Physics and Engineering into consideration. Imagine a Physics PhD who doesnt know how to use a computer, whose two hands cant be comfortable on a keyboard.

My question is: even if his desertation was only mouth+theory=PhD degree, didnt he at least type his ideas out on pieces of paper using a computer? - at least to learn how to use it?, ok, i remember, it was "processed" at the business center.

Now imagine Dr. Nigeria talking about New frontiers in Physics? its a shame o, ma broda.

Hmmmm, i've been away from this thread for such a long time because alot of water had passed under the bridge.
I don't know if what i have done is right but i have done it and thats it. Can't go back to redo it. I have taken All the criticism with no hard feelings cause i know i deserve it. I haven't completely taken all the advises though.
I decided to reverse my stupidity by getting rid of the baby at 14weeks old, which is kind of still haunting me but i couldn't bare the pain of disappointing him, my family, his family. The other guy isnt right for me, i have tasted real love and can't opt for less.
As for my man, i had to lie that it was all a lie. Can't bare losing his trust. Its a shame, and i hope it all doesnt catch up with me later.
Thanks for all your posts, and @Bhola. . . i didnt get to read your reply till now, would have seeked your advice on YIM and busta too.

I have certainly learnt my lesson in the hard way but,

I hope God forgives me and never allow my past to haunt me.

so you just aborted your first born, and you are hoping the past wont haunt you?

Yusufadeto:

How will u feel if u fall in love with someone unlovable for u, i mean someone that you're not suppose to fall for, like a friend of mine, he mistaken fall for a lady, who happens to be his best friend girl friend, when he discovered that the lady was his best friend girl friend, he tried as much as possible to forget about her but the feelings keeps get deep and deeper each time he saw the lady. If you're in any situation like this what will u do?

why is the lady unlovable? is it just because she is your bestfriend's girlfriend. If you really love her and she loves you back, then uve gotta choose between her and your best-friend.

Culture / Re: Africa As Seen On TV In The US by kimba(m): 10:22am On Jan 02, 2007
The Nigerian image on the international scene is not the fault of the Europeans or Americans. Its our own fault - the fault of the Nigerian people.

There are poor people everywhere, there are beggars everywhere. The problem with Nigeria is that it has thrown all caution to the wind in a search for money - greed.

We need a leader who knows he is a leader and wants to lead not just to make money.

how many Presidents of countries around the world export their families to go live in other countries. If they are true to themselves and doing what is right, why the need to fear.

How much is the salary of Mr. President - for him to be able to maintain his families expenses outside Nigeria. Is it not corruption and greed?

before you confuse yourself about who Satan is or isnt, what about all the SATAN's in Nigerias politics, the SATAN's arial boys distrurbing our peace, the SATAN's in Nigerian police-uniform, the SATAN's who do 419 everyday-destroying Nigerias image on the international screen, (u can continue this list)., the SATAN-armed robbers who will call you before coming to rob your house?, all of these kind of people are SATANs themselves.
