pansophist: If China did not mass produced every day consumables and telephones such as techno, I won't be surprised if there will be some shop where people go to call their loved ones on video call, because iphones and Samsung are so expensive.
Just like cyber cafe, when we pay to browse to check our emails, or even make phone calls back then. Cheap phones made sure those things never happened. The success of China is a success for the world.
"Common prosperity" is their foreign policy slogan. E go reach everybody. I use to laugh when people no rate android. Thank God for other Chinese companies that scattered monopoly Samsung wanted to build. Wetin Samsung for carry una eyes see ehn, Samsung's were crazy expensive. Boom out of nowhere companies like techno developed quality phones for as low as 12k the same thing a 70k Samsung would do. Imagine those companies never produced those phones, Samsung for show una shege. |

pansophist: You think say you smart abi?
To pursue you comot from his life no go hard be that. Since you think being leechy is being smart. Keep it up.
If you refuse to contribute materially in your relationship, you just weaken your position in that union. You're replacable easily.
The friends or partners that are easily dumped are the one that always collect. They hardly give. They think being at the receiving end makes them smart, but it makes them weak.
It makes them useless, disrespected, dishonourable, unvirtous, and quite frankly, to be beaten once in a while.
As this life hard reach, you no want to upgrade and build with your man. See him as a human in this sad world and both of you work together.
Because if a man have a choice to pick a woman that will be useful/industrious and the one with your mentality, the useful woman will always win.
If you like, hide under tradition that a man is a provider, the head, bla bla bla, it doesn't erode your role of being a supporter, and that's includes material support.
So many girls wey dey find husband get this dirty behaviour. But introspection is not the feature of the weak. They will never change, but wants a good man.
So it's easier to say that there are no good men, meanwhile, good men full everywhere, but they have observed from far and see say the woman no worth am. Her juice aint worth the squeeze I was able to leave a situationship because of this. It took me a while, but I eventually figure say she no rate me. She always thought I would stick around forever. When time reach to disappear from her life it was easy because she never contributed or done anything for me, he shock her. |

pansophist: Wow, I didn't know there was a verse in Ecclesiastes that explained it so clearly.
Also, a lot of modern philosophical works can be traced to the bible. There was a time (a few years ago) when I was linking modern philosophical and scientific works to passages in the bible, and I linked at least a hundred.
And I lost the file.
I will try to do it again and post it here. The Bible is deeply philosophical and scientific, and if one removes their bias (e.g. being non-religious), they could see lots of material wisdom in its teachings. Lemme list some that I can remember.
1. What redpillers called the 80/20 rule is known scientifically as the Pareto principle, and biblically as the Mattew principle (Matthew 25;29).
2. The Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung always talks about the shadow, and that every person should recognize, accept, and integrate their dark sides to become whole. So biblically as you wrote, it would be Ecclesiastes 7:16-17.
I will be updating this page as I remember them, or probably just create a new topic. I no dey read bible like that but I don read the book of ecclesiastes more than 5 times |

Romance › Re: I Don't Know What To Do by KingClown(m): 7:53am On Mar 22, 2023 |
pansophist: You're 29, so I assume you're talking to women younger than you, who are in their prime, and have loads of guys in her DM. So from your angle, it may just be only one girl you're chatting with, but to her, you are one of many.
And you must know that you're competing with all the guys she is talking to, and in many cases, you will rank low not because you are not a good choice, but because the competition out there is brutal, especially for financially unstable men.
You're handsome, that's good, but other guys in her DM may be handsome and richer, and taller. She will go for the best. But by going for the best men, it doesn't mean those men mean well for her.
Women mostly go for the same kind of men, a very tiny percentage, because most men are not desirable to women. But since other women are also interested in the man she she is seeing, she unknowingly becomes his concubine, especially when sex is involved.
So yes, while she is thinking that she has found the one, he is thinking that he has found another option to change for the weekend. This is the situation many girls are in without knowing. Including the girl you're talking to probably.
He won't tell her about her usefulness in his life, same way women don't tell men that they are simps and are only useful to her for cash and attention. If a woman is in the sexzone of a man, she won't know as well. So your sweetheart is probably in a polygamous relationship.
Men generally have no standards when it comes to sex, women do (except prostitutes). And because she gives sex to the man that she likes, it's not the same for him. To him, It's just another day but to her, she is emotionally invested and dreaming of a future with him.
This is something old culture understood, hence they made sure women are married before having sex, since that's the only way a man's commitment is guaranteed, and because anything out side of that, is just she giving herself away for nothing and devaluing her value.
So lots of these girls are chilling in the sex zone of their first choice, just as you are chilling in their friend zone. Hence you hear women saying they dated a narcissist. It may be true, because if every woman wants you as a man, you'll develop narcissistic tendencies too.
Men earn Narcissism, but women are narcissistic because simps made them so. Men that are narcissist because they've worked hard to become desirable many women wants them, but women are narcissistic because of all the simps in their DM.
For example dating sites always releases matching data. Okcupid for example shows that most women swipe NO to most men, meanwhile, most men swipe YES to most women. If you're a fat, ugly woman on dating sites, the loads of attention you will get from simps will make you an egoistic narcissist.
The tiny percentage women swipe yes to are enjoying most women, ejaculating and evacuating. She will be so happy to be with such man, but to him, she is just a temporary option, just as the men in her friendzone.
The dynamic is one giant shitshake.
So what is the solution now? Well, the solution will always be to increase your value as man. I know it's hard. This is Nigeria, but the solution makes no exceptions and is unforgiving. It's why polygamy is a thing, since few men actually satisfies women desire.
Most importantly, the girls you're talking to won't mature until the attention dries up. Also, a man becomes mature when he stops giving attention. High value men get attention, low value men gives it.
So pick your battle, or poison. Work extremely hard to be up there, and pick your choice of women, polygamy is even allowed, after all, you've suffered enough. Or wait for the attention drugs that your future wife is enjoying that prevents her maturity to finish (as she gets older), then you marry her as her last option.
Sorry. Nawa wa o Person ask you make you teach am small algebra You teach am algebra, geometry, probability, calculus, differential equations and numerical methods. You teach the whole curriculum. Last, last sha that's how the world works. I pray the guy truely understands what you wrote with no bitterness, cynicism, nihilism and malevolence in his heart. The guy own even better, I no fit remember the last time anything join me with woman....I think loneliness is starting to creep in my soul but then again my consolation prize be say I dey live stress free life. Moha7: You lot are saying NIMASA is the best here, meanwhile it’s not. NIMASA’s salary is a bit different. They don’t get to have either pension or gratuity after they retire. So their salary doesn’t have much deductions - it’s why their take-home package is quite good. Although some of your allowances depend on your activity at the port when goods & stuff arrive, a fresh graduate takes over 500K monthly with allowances and everything. My cousin’s friend left NIMASA for DPR a couple of years ago. Now since NNPC is better than DPR, we can easily say NNPC is better than NIMASA. NCC, however, is the latest big deal. Good place to work! Salary is about 400K and there are lots of allowances and bonuses. CBN on the other hand has quite a lesser pay for fresh graduates, but with a single promotion, you will be in the real game! CBN gets you allowances like housing, wardrobe and others that sum up to the salary itself - even way more than that. There are basically a lot of things to consider when comparing these MDAPs NPA vs Nimasa |

mrprince01: Go for NDIC. Their net income is slightly higher than that of NPA. I've also heard of our prominent politician or highly placed individual whose children work there too. Same can't be said about NPA but NPA is a very good place to be.
As for me, money must be made but its not much of a factor for me when seeking for job opportunity. I put into consideration the work environment, the people, I wouldn't want to work in an establishment where my mental health is at risk. Considering my health status, I would pick CBN over DPR. Also, I would pick icpc or efcc over cbn or dpr or nimasa. That's me so the choice is yours. NPA people are tight lipped |

pansophist: 1. The myth of male power (by Warren Farrell). This book will help you understand the lies of feminism written by an ex-feminist, and just as the name suggests, that the so-called ''patriarchy'' feminist yap actually benefits them at the expense of men. It's common sense that you don't need a book to know this, but if you want an academic underpinning, this book helps.
If I could explain patriarchy as the book describes it, then I will use the analogy. Patriarchy is the horse, but women are the rider. Yes the horse eats a lot, drink lots of water, and stronger than the rider, and can run far distance, and do many things, but in the end, he exists to make the rider happy and will die earlier. So to look at the horse and call him an oppressor and patriarchy is just foolish. He exists for you.
2. The rules of human nature (Robert Groene). From the same man that wrote the 48 laws of power, this book shines the light on how to relate with humans and get what you want. So it's good for marketers, people in the show biz, politics, etc. The book will help you understand yourself, after all, you are human.
3. The art of war (Sun Tzu). This is a very old book, but if I have to recommend just one book if you are lazy to read the rest, then it must be this one. You must learn how to fight. And by fight, it's not physical, but the art of fighting from a strategic, manipulative, and just every angle possible. Every military personnel, business mogul, and politician that knows their salt all have this book.
If you want to go into business, you must have it as well. As a man, you are born into the world to fight, you need this book. For example, I could simply understand world events from empires, country fighting, and their strategies because of that book. The book is just like a candle, it opens your inner eyes to just understand things without being taught. You cant read this book and be manipulated, never.
4. The rational male (Rollo Tomassi) - As a man, your major source of happiness will come from your partner, and you must know how to relate with women. This is the bible of the male-female relational dynamic. It shines a torch about every angle of a relationship and helps you de-simp yourself if you are one.
Let me stop here, so I do not overwhelm you. I will look for the myth of Male power, any book that encourages me to be lazy and partly cynical towards women is a big welcome to me. Anywhere I go 48 laws of power is always in my bag, these days I barely have much time to read but I've read a few laws. Good book. The first copy I had; I stole it from my sister she collected it back. Only for me to be going through my father's mini library and I saw it again, I don steal am (no time) I read bits of Art of War and I understand why you like the book. I stopped reading because I realized most teachings will not stick me. I'm not much of a planner, I just move and scatter any obstacle that comes way. Hopefully I no go see the one way go pass my power . By default I'm not a meticulous or strategic person, I just move Rollo Tomassi book looks bulky to me. all these epistles all for what ? Woman ? Also I think he used a red font for some pages which was off putting to me. |

The Bible then was just a boring, plain book we had to read and fulfill righteousness. But not when I started listening to Jordan Peterson.
This man has over five hundred hours of lectures on youtube, and he dedicated a lot of those hours to decimating the bible and its deep meaning, and I began to see the bible in a different way since that day.
Everything people talk about the red pill, I can trace the source to the bible. I even read a lot of psychological and war books and can see traces in the bible. It's like all the dots begin to get connected and reveal themselves. No surprise it is the oldest book on earth, and the most sold.
But my favorite book would be genesis, which wrote about the story of creation, the foundation of the earth, and the great reset (during the time of Noah). If anyone wants to enjoy the bible in its true essence, you need a good preacher that is also good in science, history, psychology, and multilateral in academic background, then you see how powerful that book is. From my experience the best teachers of the bible come from Catholic and orthodox churches because they go to a seminary where the bible is broken down into bits All these new churches na motivational speakers full am with one or two tricks up their sleeves. |

He was truely an erudite; I always asked myself why these men taught in a secondary school (he said God called him, he used to be an Engineer) One of my regrets in life is that I did not spend enough time with him, some days I sit down wondering where he currently is ( he got transferred before I completed school) Reverend Okoro could draw maps of cities and countries from his head. He explained reasons behind everything he taught. In his presence you dont speak anyhow, you had to think before you speak. I remember when we wanted to throw a party in the guise of bonding with the new junior students . In our official letter to the school principal we called it "Bonfire Night" and she welcomed the idea. We also had to forward the idea to reverend Okoro because he was the school chaplain and he had to approve before we proceed. As soon as he heard "Bonfire Night" my man began to disect the phrase and he told us the original meaning of the phrase. It was about a French revolution As our principal hear that one she say we wan turn cultist omo naso dem supervise that party from beginning to end.
