My 013 Accord usually have this sound (like schrrrrrr) when my RPM is on 1,800. I have Googled and YouTubed and the closest issue to mine that I found is about Speedometer cable (not sure whether it same issue with mine).

Please I will like to know if anyone has experienced such or can point out the issue to me so I can fix it.

Car drives very well, no CEL. Did a scan too and nothing came up.

Good morning all. My first post here. I have a 2011 GS 350, I’m trying to battle all my dashboard lights one by one. I had check engine, scanned and saw exhaust efficiency threshold low P0420 (I checked my catalyst, I no get (nice one Lagos dealers). I put catalyst, but as they jack my car to change catalyst LADIPO Mech damage stabilizer linkage con tell me if noise too much we can remove it 🙄. The next one I saw was a P0172 system too rich, plus my car misfired one time and I felt a power drop( na total ikate fuel do am). My mechanic changed a coil for a spark plug. Everything moving fine again. Now I’m on AFS light blinking. This one I’m very confused, who can help. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in LADIPO to fix my linkage. Thank you

Scan the AFS (Headlamp) system and post codes here.
If you can’t scan headlamp, scan Body computer I believe you’d get the code.

You’re supposed to leave it in D.
Also, for the rpm you need to clean the throttle body, test the IACV and check for vacuum leaks.

The car has been fixed.
The issues were:
1. Two Coils were bad
2. All the four plugs were bad
3. The bolt that tightens the steering pump wasn't there.

Good morning bro. Please I drove my friend's Honda Civic and entered a big gallop. Immediately, the car stops.
I discovered that the alternator belt has removed. I managed to drive it to a mechanic workshop and got it fixed.
On my way home I noticed that the water in the reserved water container was boiling seriously.
I stopped the car and allowed the engine to cool.
Once the engine cool I started the car and it was not accelerating well. I opened the bonnet and realized that the alternator belt has removed again.
This morning as I wanted to check the oil Guage, I discovered that the dipstick has melted.

Please what's the way forward.

Was the water pump pulley bypassed?
Check also that the radiator wasn’t damaged or water pipe wasn’t damaged

I just go a Nigerian used Toyota Camry and it was very ok until I noticed it doesn't accelerate above 100kph after like 4hours of driving, have done the scanning and nothing is showing to be wrong with the car but a mechanic is saying the car is having small engine that can't go above that after a particular period. I'm just confused, is there anything like small V4 engine?, Can this possibly be fixed?

Didn't carry out any electrical repairs on the car. The car never has any electrical issue except I had ran down my battery one time , if that counts , and then I changed alternator .

It wasn't complaining of the rear left before. It has always been front right. It just started this rear left one. Now it seldoms won't change gears by itself .

See this issue is more complex than you think it is.m as it involves your ABS system. Unfortunately, I can’t assist you anymore remotely because I haven’t seen or observe the exact state of the car abs checked other parameters. I very strongly advise you locate a competent technician who knows what he’s doing immediately to solve this issue. If you’re in abuja, feel free to locate me.

New updates... i also noticed that when the abs and brake lights come on the odometer stops working so i can't gauge the speed nor the distance travelled...however the rpm indicator works...and the car handles fine despite these issues

Pls, I used 2009 toyota camry with 2.4l engine, I bought the car tokunbo few months ago, when it due for service, I called my mechanic to change the oil and we used fully synthetic hardex 0w20 and after some days I discovered blue white smoke emitted from the exhaust pipe after a startup in the morning and it disappeared in seconds. My mechanic advice we should drain the oil and change it to hardex 5w30 i agreed and we change the but yet the smoke hasn't stopped, it happened every morning and discovered there's little shortage of oil in my car since my last service. Pls what could be a possible solution to problems

Drain and refill with Mobil or Total 5W20

Quick one please. What engine oil is suitable for Cadillac escalade 2016 model and 2007 model? 4 months old tokunbo. I got 5w 30 and 0w 20 on the oil cover. What brand would you advice?

For 2016 model, your car recommends 0W20 but for 2007 model, it requires 5W30 all fully synthetic. Mobil 1 is good, Valvoline is good, Castrol is good. But ensure you get your oils from reputable sources.

Take out battery terminals, remove socket that plugs into transmission, check for bent pin or rust or water ingress, clean with appropriate solvent, reinstall properly, test drive, then scan for codes.

The Ac, fluctuates. Sometimes, it comes on and after a while, it blows only air. I also noticed that it hardly comes on in hot weather and if it's on and chilling, it can start blowing only air when I step harder on the accelerator. I took it to an AC repairer and the baba said I have to change the compressor to the manual type and we need to get a rewire to change the wiring to suite the manual compression. Immediately he finished talking, i enter my car run. When the AC comes on properly, it's chills very well

Yes it is a Nissan. Rogue 08. Yes I have scanned it. Happen to open the catalyst chamber close to the engine and found it is empty. Replacing the catalyst should likely fix the p0420 code.

The main issue now is the abs light that comes up which Scanner scans as c1103. I have changed the sensor about 5 times now. The abs light goes off after installation and comes back on few minutes when driving

Check the affected wheel Hub if the reluctor ring is still intact.

I also have this abs issue. I have been having it complain of the front right side . I have changed abs sensor several times. The light will go off and after some minutes driving , it will come back up.
Now, it is complaining of the rear left also.
My dashboard will light up abs, vdc, and even brake light at times.

I have also being battling this error code p2a00. I have changed o2 sensor for this. Now the code became p0420 when I scanned Making the "Check engine light " to come up .

This is a nissan or Infiniti. Pls what model and year is this car? Have you scanned it?
