* We have NSE equity stocks listed in two categories on that table: EQTY and PREMIUM.
* If you click on 'Equity' it will display all stocks listed under it, just look for the coy ticker (name of the coy) you wish to buy or sell and pick it.
*Under 'Premium' you will see the likes of Access, Zenith, Fbnh, Dangcem, etc., Select the coy you wish to buy or sell, then input the QTY and PRICE.
** Note that other columns on the buy/sell table are already set on default. Don't adjust them (it's meant for those who understands how well it works).

Hope it's not late. Ask if you have further clarifications. smiley
Thank you for the job well done.

Any dividend paying stock at hand? But, how does the dividend works?

For how long do I have to hold the stock to qualify for dividend?

Please recommend a book or thread page where I can get all the information about dividend.

Yes you will have access to your fund at the end of the 7th year, since it will be listed on the stock market you can also sell before maturity
Okay. Thank you Sir.

I hope if I sell before maturity, there won't be negative effects on the capital?

Lol. Pls direct technical analysis of the stock to the TA analysts here. They should be able to advice us professionally.

As for their dividend history, BUA was listed in NSE on Feb 2020 after merger with CCNN (also a subsidiary of OBU/BUA cement).
The first dividend as BUA is just this year. Year low is 27.65, year high is 41.

If you're interested in the stock, you may take the risk. If you can get around 30/31 it should be fine.
PLS NOTE: DD is strictly advised.
Hanty please advice me about how to place buy order on Morgan.

For short term investment, which of this do I click on?

In Islamic finance they don't pay interest, but rental income on the loan. Which is more like an the annual return on the loan.
Okay thank you Sir.

From what I read, the rental is for 7years (ending 2027). In a layman's term, it simply means; I will have access to the capital after 7years but the rental will be credited into my account on quarterly basis? I hope am correct on this

Also, must the subscription be exactly 7years? Can I request for 5years or 9years?

Well, let me tell you what I'll do if I'm in your current position based on :
1. Short-term to medium-term: FCMB or Fidelity #1.70- #1.75, Wema Bank (#0.54-#0.58), Access Bank <#6.50 or FBNH #5 or less, Dangcem #145-#150-: they declared a dividend of #16, while qualification date is next week. I know of someone that bought as high as #170 and was able to average down to #154

2. Long-term: MTNN #108-#112, WAPCO #10.70-#11, Zenith or GTB at their pull - back prices

Note: Pls do your due dilligence, you are the CEO of your portfolio and therfore responsible for any Investment decision you take!

Thank you so much for the information + advise. I have been following the thread for over a year but limited to only TB and fixed DP.

It was in mid-March I made up my mind to start trading stock. Though, with a meagre amount on chaka, unfortunately I got my hands burnt with their unnecessary charges. I ended up creating an account with Morgan but the "cash is king" slogan confused me as a newbie. I ended up not investing a dime because I was hoping to join the bus at the best of bottom.

On your question about stock knowledge, let me rate myself at 5/10. I know I have a lot to learn. I plan to learn more while trading. Hence the need to have a mentor.

Thank you for suggestions about the short and long term stock. I'll keep my eyes on them to see their direction and probably decide when I see a good entry price.

The truth is, the lockdown opened my inner mind to the numerous opportunity that lies in the investment world.

I limited myself to TB, fixed deposit and sometimes lending to close friends.

With the information and knowledge I have acquired from this forum, I believe it's about time I start something serious.

Profit after tax of N60 billion higher than the N35 billion promised by the core Investor

Dividend payout ratio of 97%
Please Sir, what stock can someone invest in this period.

Investment plan is:

1). Short term: N1M
To be rolled over, let's say weekly or bi-weekly

2). Long term: N500k
Considering at least one year. Also, it has to be a dividend paying stock + capital appreciation.

There are things I do as a business man here in Nigeria that I can't dare try in a sane country. So someone like me is not even having "hope" or praying that Nigeria gets better.
Not a good assertion about our "dearly" beloved country. At least some of us are still in our early thirties and praying earnestly that the country gets better.

Please, don't make us lose the little hope we have on our country. Things might be as we so desire, but let is learn to speak positive words about our country. Thank you my Oga.

Your boy is still learning.

Please, based on the advised I received from some of our ancestors here, I have decided to shift my small savings from Microfinance bank. I'll be glad to have our big bosses mentor me on the way forward.

I have sent PM to Oga Ahiboilandgas. Would send to Oga Emmanuel as well. I need to start planning for my future and that of my family.

If you can refer someone, definitely the 1% will be credited into your account and not mine.

The way we are quick to discredit investment ideas this days baffles me. This is not MMM or some kind of ponzi scheme

Ok if they are not your employer then you need to just thread with caution. I was almost falling for them in the beginning when I wanted to start investing. However, research and experiences shared with me reformatted my brain.

The number of microfinance banks that closes at will should be a guide for you. With them convincing you to part with your money by promising bogus interested is a very easy thing. Issues comes up most times when you are to get back your money.
I quite understand you.

Let me share my story:

I had the privilege of consulting and getting some advise about investing with microfinance banks before I started investing with them. And I can comfortably tell you that, the experience so far is a bit different from what I was told (especially stories relating to what you shared above). Probably because of the choice of microfinance bank I chose to invest with after a rigorous due diligence.

On the aspect of fund withdrawal, I don't think your claim is right. Besides, you confirmed not to have invested with them before!!! Wondering how and where you got the information.

Finally, no investment is risk free but we can always reduce our exposure to this risks.

Thank you.

Good afternoon.

Trust we are keeping safe. My office has a little something for individuals during this lockdown, which I will like to share, if your offices or if you can help with a fixed deposit of 200m or more for a minimum of 90days. You get 1% from the bank, it is called finder's fee paid into your account. Please holla if interested in making money during this lockdown.

A fixed deposit of N200m @12% for 90 days generates N5,326,027.40 as interest.

Above is legit. A microfinance bank, though not the regular type because its a big company with different portfolios.

Personally, I have been fixing with them and I can say, they are tested and trusted.

NB: Other amounts can be fixed.....it must not be N200M

The microfinance bank that I will entrust my money as much as N500,000 for 90 days is yet to open let alone that huge sum. Maybe because you are online, you may get a customer not related to you offline so if they (The Microfinance Bank) refuse to open shop tomorrow as it is their trade mark you will sleep with eyes closed.
Have you had any experience with them? You can share so people can learn from you.

But, it will interest you to know that, Microfinance banks have been reformed.

NB: They are not my employer. I only invest. The fall of TB rate opened my eyes to that opportunity.

Thank you boss
