Hello house..Please I wanna plead with us...if you had been denied before then had to 're-apply and eventually succeeded...when sharing your success story please remember to include this very salient part...and don't let us be selfish...including it and telling us what you did differently....will ,firstly ,encourage others like sunshine that first attempt is a delay and not denial...secondly offer plausible ways to refire and thereafter succeed...
Let's remember how we were feeling when we experienced the setback and help others with info....
I know what am saying ooooo.... grin

earthgreeners: Hi Everyone,

Can we dedicate between pages 80 and 90 for sample letter of intent for admission, Letter of sponsorship, Visa SOP and letter of inability to pay accmdtn fees?... In that sense, we cld easily refer anyone who needs samples to dose pages. Instead of having to respond to tonnes of private messages requesting for samples......

While I await response, I would urge those who have gotten admission / TRV to start searching for their essays....

Best Regards,

Was discussing with a friend yesterday..what the word "busy" means... It means "I am occupied with more important things".....so it depends on what importance....my activity on NL hasn't disturbed my work doesn't mean...I ain't studying...infact....I have had to sleep over in school at least four times in the past month...and thank God, my grades have been terribly excellent...and I even have time to take undergrads tutorials....
I personally believe...that giving strengthens me...so I look for such opportunities to share...
So Oga Chrigo....I gat your back! grin

Hi guys, so much good news in the air!
However, I stumbled on a research shared by a prominent writer-Malcom Gladwell- on "Why you should not go to Harvard".The findings from the research showed that top students that finished from Harvard(Phd) were still doing well academically after school, pubishing papers! While the students who finished middle to down on the list from Harvard weren't doing so well after school. On the other hand, students who went to not so highly rated schools but finished tops were doing as well as guys who finished tops in Harvard. Even though comparisons showed that those guys that finished middle of the class in HARVARD were probably more brilliant than those guys that finished top at the schools not highly rated! TheY found out that those guys in the middle in Harvard had their morale damaged due to their position while in Harvard school!
My thought
While it is good to search for highly rated schools, remember, that what defines you is what you eventually have upstairs not necessarily the certificate, while the highly rated schools can get you the jobs, they cant keep it for you, its what you have got to offer that makes the difference! So are you currently searching schools in Canada and you don't want colleges and not so highly rated unis? This finding should make you rethink! It might be better to finish with first class in Lautech(apologies to Chrigogogogo grin) than 2-2 in OAU!

[quote author=Quantumfisika]ooook..tank u sir..d tin is dosw flights dont fly into Vancouver. They stop at Toronto . If I book anoda flight from Toronto to Vancouver, there might luggage allowance disaparity as most local flights dont give luggage allowance as much as d foreign ones.... will b lookin for a local airline dat will give me up to 23kg each...dem KLM, Airfrance have direct flights/Connecting flights to Vancouver/from Toronto[/quote
And don't forget....to use a different system when you ready....ur I.p address is already known...so each time you open those flights sites again...the prices jump up...so make up your mind then use another system when you ready to book...I dey Alberta so might not be able to help on the local flight to Vancouver ish...
All the best

Jesunro: Hello house. greetings to all the great men and women around. Oga Chrigo, i see/zoom you o.
for those of us waiting for response after medicals i would like to bring our notice to something i saw on the medical instruction that was sent to us.
check the footnote; it states
Note;It is important that you inform the panel physician of any previous or existing medical conditions. Failure to do so will delay the processing of your medical examination.
Do you know that i sat down and really gave it a good thought. i discovered that it might have been my fault. I remembered vividly that there was a time i used inhaler because i got back from school and was to tired to clean my room full of dust, inhaled it all through the night and got very sick the next morning. i was taken to the hospital and my doctor prescribed this inhaler thingy and salbutamol and the rest. i might be wrong though but i think these people found something i totally took for granted.
i just thank God say na delay dem say the thing go delay, no be denial.... abeg make una help me reason the matter along o
grin....bros if you used the "salbutamol" inhaler very often....then thats likely an asthmatic condition....and "bronchoconstriction" happens leading to attacks to keep it simple...and that can never generate concern in your xray!
On the other hand, you did the right thing,it's not a good one talking too much during medical...it sends a negative signal they pay extra attention to you and can cause them to request further tests.....if anything dey....make dem find am themselves!
Nobody will deny you Visa on asthma ground!
