Hello Mr. okoroemeka, it's been an interesting time on this thread and farming cucumber too. My first trial was quite interesting, and I think I presently have a new job now. I decided to seek more training in addition to the info that you have piled up here and that led me to attend Kuch99 trainings on cucumber and tomatoes. I am armed with more information and I want to do another trial which I strongly believe will be better than the first one. so I will be doing almost 200 sacks planted with 2 seeds each.

The only challenge I have right now is that I want to add drip irrigation to my setup seeing that watering with hand for the 50 bags I did last is not a small task. I'm presently looking for where to buy small quantity of drip tapes like 100m. all those I have asked do not sell such small quantities. The least I have seeing is 500m and the emitter spacing is 0.3m when I need 0.5m. I don't know if you have any lead to buy such small quantity. Otherwise, I'm presently on the verge of ordering from china. I have seeing suppliers who will sell small quantities even as small as 100metres. I will update you as I progress because I want to achieve at least 10fruits per plant, I will be needing all the mentorship I can get.

On behalf of myself and everybody that has benefitted from all the stuffs you put up here, I'm saying THANK YOU!

Planning to sell fresh maize at this time will be disaster because the rain is here and many farmers will be planting for the market just as the same time as you

it doesn't matter for now. the idea is to sell for a better price than I would have sold to middlemen here in Ogbomoso. I do not have the facilities and resources to farm maize and store for now.

Hello guys,
I recently got to know about an app called "wish" late last year. I downloaded it, and I normally get notifications about products. There are very interesting products I'd like to buy from this app especially considering the fact that the prices of stuffs are really cheap on it. please I need help from people who have been using the app before about shipping to Nigeria, the shipping address, stuffs like courier, Zip/postal code. Your prompt response will be highly appreciated. MODs kindly help get this as much views as possible. thank you, ese, nagode, dalu!

Hello madam @jethro2. your thread has been an exceptionally interesting read. Especially considering the fact you are a woman. but one thing I observe is that you had an ample amount of money to spend, otherwise your first failures could have led to total folding up. I'm happy you are eventually getting ahead.

I'm a new and beginner farmer myself. I decided to start fully after so much procrastination. However, I'm just gradually venturing into the realms of vegetable farming and I will be attending an online training on tomato farming next week by Kuch99, Thai Agro.

Please allow me to get a leverage from your connections at Mile 12 market for the purpose of selling maize. I have started my agricultural expeditions since last year with maize and cassava at Ogbomoso. But the way middlemen buy maize from us is so terrible and they are taking it to Lagos to make money. I find it quite unacceptable considering the fact that I use to be a Lagosian myself. I think I should be able to find a way to penetrate Mile12. In view of this, I will appreciate if you can give me any lead/a contact that I can relate with for smooth access at mile 12. I anticiptae your prompt response.

P.S: it's wet maize that I intend to sell. whatever inference I am able to get from the mile12 sales will determine how much I should invest into maize farming.

dear Mr Okoro, i refrained from spraying any insecticide in the morning, and i have never used a foliar fertilizer like i told you earlier. it's been close to three weeks now and the spots on the cucumber leaves have persisted. i have gone to study a little bit more about cucumbers and i am convinced those signs are those of a fungi disease. my challenge now is i don't know what chemicals to buy and application at this period in the life of my cucumbers. i will attach pictures of the presently development. and also the fungi chemicals i bought along with the seeds when i got them from thai-agro lagos state. they were waybilled to ogbomoso for me. any vegetable farmer in ogbomoso should please reach out to me, i will be more than happy to connect. please all other experienced hands on the thread should kindly assist.

However, I can't quite remember for sure, there's all the possibility that I sprayed insecticides in the morning after being provoked by those demon insects. I would have been reaching out regularly but I usually do not like to type long stuffs with phones and I do not have a laptop at the moment. There were challenges here and there, especially certain criminal insects who would cut off the leaves of the offshoot when it has just sprouted. I discovered they are able to achieve this when the plant is still young. After a while, the plants outgrow this insects. But they cost me much damage. The challenge on my hand presently is in the pictures I'll attach. I don't know what that might be. Kindly help.

Very nostalgic.
It brings back my memories of the early 90's
My favorite toll-gate of all time was the Okigwe Toll gate, I'd tell you why

I had just accompanied a friend from Enugu to Mbaise for his traditional wedding rites and on our way back the coaster bus we hired spoilt just after that toll-gate.
We managed to roll it off the road and tried sleeping in it because it was verrrry late.

Well, long story shut.
We were robbed by almost 8 men.
All the ladies in the bus were raped including the bride we just went to bring home.
Very sad incident that will forever warp my psyche because that was the begining of my fetish for bedding married women.

Are you serious with this or your usual jokes?
Romance / Re: After I Took A Loan For Her, She Blocked My Number by klbakare(m): 10:32pm On Feb 22, 2021
Please let's be guided accordingly o.p, you didn't take a loan for her. You took a loan for yourself and gave it to her, that would be more appropriate. You took a loan secured by your four years salary and gave it to your supposed fiancée based on trust without any security nor guarantee. If you had helped her facilitate how she could obtain the loan in her own name, it would have been better for you. Now that you are close to being unfortunate in life. Do this few things:

1. Report to the police with the help of a lawyer that you borrowed her money on trust and she absconded.

2. That you want to recover the said money as a result of breach of trust.

3. That you will take over her assets as well to recover that money.

4. Get her arrested and charged, that she must produce sureties who will stand for her bail and also return of the said loan which you gave to her on trust.

5. If you did a bank transfer to her, kindly get your acct statement handy to proof. Otherwise, go find her and secretly record your conversations with her where she will admit she took money from you and will return it. Hope you know her house? Also be ready to rope few of her friends that you know cos that will facilitate quick recovery and ability to locate her. E.g you can say, you discovered afterwards that she and her friends run a criminal syndicate where they lure unsuspecting men into serious relationships, borrow money from them afterwards and run away.

6. With these few tips, you will recover your money.

7. Invest the money bit by bit as you recover it to help you along the way as you pay back your loan.

8. Be wise with your new investment.

9. Commit your ways to God, go and sin no more! Or bet yet, go and be foolish no more.

You don't have to put your self into a depressed state because of their own mistakes and also putting you off for reasons best known to them

Let the accountant follow you to the bank and see things himself

As for your other accounts, just remove whatever penny that is there so that they won't see a kobo there

Tell them to give you time to look for money as you don't have anything doing now to get money

If are asked to write under taking, you can write and if it's 2k you have at any given time you send to them and keep your records

Don't ever promise in the writing that you will pay all at a time

Let them partake in putting you through hardship, eve is it takes you a whole year to clear it, to me, it doesn't matter

O.P follow this advice. This is the most sensible advice here. Nobody can drag you for anything. Make sure everything you told us is the truth because God actually sees the integrity of your heart.

dear mr okoroemeka, i am very much encouraged when i stumbled upon this your thread and read to a
meaningful extent. i wished i had seen this thread a long time ago. i believed i would have started something
and gained meaningful experience. however, i know it is not too late. kindly let me indulge you in some few
questions so that i can hit the ground running.
1. what type/brand of cucumber(hybrid/otherwise) would you recommend for me(as a beginner) here in the
southwest, Ogbomoso, Oyo state precisely.
2. i do not have money for drip, can i proceed with a rain gun as well?
3.i did a experimental watermelon farming just recently and i didn't do well, i want to try again this dry season
would you advise that i proceed with a rain gun because i could remember somewhere in the beginning of your
thread where you said rain gun ruined your watermelon trial.
5. i also want to do small tomato practice, which hybrid will you recommend. same location.

I patiently await your response, till further questions arise. stay good.
please if you are also a vegetable farmer here in the south west, Ibadan/Ilorin/Oyo/Ogbomoso and you would like me to gain from your wealth
of experience, kindly signal me so that i can reach out to you. thanks.

Mr, find your way! You no longer have a wife. You have only children. Thank God they are just two. Work hard and pray harder. Start a new life. Get another woman who has vision and will align with your life goals. A woman who is not ready to have more than 2kids so you will have a total of four. You can still be salvaged. And above all get closer to God.
Car Talk / Re: Help Me Find A Permanent Solution To My Overheating Car by klbakare(m): 12:22pm On Aug 17, 2020
Don't stress my brother. I see you have e a good car there. Don't listen to anybody saying change thermostat. Remove the thermostat, you don't need it for a commercial run golf 3. E get why. For the overheating. To solve overheating problems, we must start from the least problems to the highest. So follow these simple steps.

1. Check if your water pump is running very fine, i mean sufficiently fine. Good v/w mechanics have a way they check. If it runs fine, leave it, otherwise, you will change.

2. Check all water hoses to ensure none is leaking, if any is leaking, change them and put clip where necessary at various insertion points. This is very important because your cooling system must be 100% air tight. No external air must get into your cooling system and air must not escape so that it doesn't loose pressure. Water in vehicle engines boil above 100 degrees. If you loose pressure you will get overheating shaperly.

3. Your temperature gauge must be working 100% so that, at the first sign of that low coolant levels that flashes on the dashboard, you will be able to park and ensure no damage
To your engine or car.

4. The next thing is return. Let them check that the radiator is returning water suffiently into the expansion water reservoir. (that plastic that you always put water in your car). Ensure there is a clip on the return hose too.

5. Check that your fan is blowing correctly and at the correct side. Your fan could be blowing but be blowing wrongly. That way it blows out air instead of sucking it in. Put nylon at the grill, if it sticks your fan is doing well. If there is no relay there yet, tell rewire to add relay for maximum speed. If your fan is bad, change it. But this time, if it is single fan, buy the double type.

6. Anytime your temperature gauge starts rising close to the point where it will overheat, pull over, don't off the engine, open your bonnet and check if your fan is still working, if water is not leaking anywhere. Because that's the time you can ascertain all those things.

7. Now, after that, if you still overheat. Change your radiator. Don't wash it. If it is single cell, buy 2-cell. If it was 2-cell, buy the same 2-cell.

8. The gasket is the last step. The reason is, if when you put water in your radiator, it does not enter your engine oil. Then it may not be your gasket. However, if at first sign, you discover your engine oil is milky, your gasket don burn be that. Otherwise let gasket replacement be the last step you'll take. Hot spot could form on your gasket. And it could cause boiling too. Nigerian mechos will say "gasket ti flat". Now if you have ringed your engine before, they will use double gasket, that one no dey flat easily but it can burn. But if you've never fixed the engine before, the gasket could be flat true true cos na single gasket oyinbo man dey put. So keep me posted.

9. No dey overfill your radiation reservoir with water. Stay safe. P. S where be your route?
