Eizenburg: So I took a trip this afternoon from Baruwa Inside in Ipaja to somewhere off Ado Road, Ajah. 73km and 3.5 hours. Uber app is always in background once I launch Google Maps. Tim to end ride, I realized I had been logged out. Re-launched app and saw that trip ended after just 2 minutes at N400 Wow so you didn’t check on your investment for over 3 hours |

Prince3: The owner has bought it 2years ago but have giving it to rental 6months or so. And he can't below 2mill. I have check and drove the car yesterday with my mechanic and he said everything seems good. Bro for real, don’t do HP with a Nigerian used car. Test the waters with rentals. Forget all these mechanics, I took one to buy my previous car, a kia cerato; from everything is okay, I ended up spending over 200k changing parts in the next two months. Don’t allow anyone pressure you into the unknown. There are many partners that will do less than 2mil on a Nigerian used car. Do rentals first or else your other business will suffer the consequences. |

Kodred, you see wetin your taxify people do this bros? tojahh: Now Kodred.... What do we do here?
Who has cheated who?
I know you'll say the driver didn't apply discretion . But hey, even me as a driver would not pay because who knows.... It's black Friday already and Bolt might be doing Bonaza.
Welcome to the club o jare. But am I the only one that has not encountered those leeches at the airport? Anyway I don't really like Airport runs. Once I drop off, na waka I dey. Even if request come na so I go dey circle round till rider show up. Mhen screw Bolt! I’m beginning to think they doing it on purpose. Well there was no mention in the post where driver said he reviewed and still got low fare. Perhaps he planned not to review? Driver’s discretion was advised earlier. |

peeps4u: You people have come again with the cresting an imaginary fear of what happens when a platform leaves. If you think bolt can run out business with this, what about drivers? Accepting the low price due to app failure isn't profitable for drivers, and reviewing the price after collecting the estimate mostly results in bolt giving new higher price than what the driver collects? So drivers should continue to bear bolt's losses? Pray tell, how often does it happen? Do you drive on the platform? Did you not see where I said use your discretion and do a + or -? Nothing justifies cheating yo na just say na the way things be. Abeg make una no vex continue to collect estimate and confirm what is on bolt app. Nor vex |

Freshprince91: Kodred, are you a moral high priest authority or you're a Taxify agent using this space as a cover? You need to drive on this Bolt platform to feel our plight. It happened to me yesterday at Dolphin estate, ikoyi from 1004 estate, at the end of the trip , fare reads 300 naira. I asked what the estimate was and she said 600 -900 naira, before i could mutter a word to explain why i need to do a fare review, she jumped out of the car and claimed its her lucky Monday. So tell me what you'll do in such situation. You use your discretion bro. Bolt won’t be in business for long if everyone keeps short-changing them. Like it or not, bolt is more profitable than uber. It is true that trips fail on occasions but if you’re using a nice phone and a wifi, you’d hardly experience that. Not forming say na me holy pass but let’s do what we can. |

izzou: A case of when you review, and rider refuses to pay the reviewed amount, and Bolt takes their commission from the reviewed amount,
Who cheated then? The rider or you? If the rider is still in your car and refuses to pay the reviewed amount, then use your discretion. If you allowed the rider to go and still reviewed, then OYO except it’s a card ride. |

peeps4u: What's fair in collecting 500 from a tip worth 2000+ because a malfunctioning app shows 500?
Drivers should bear the loss right while bolt fails to fix the app? And when the later reviewed price is more than the one you collect, bolt takes the commission on the new estimated price, who bears the loss? Who is responsible for app failure and fix it? Drivers or bolt If it isn't fixed, who should continue to bear the loss? Drivers?
Put your car on the road and correct the abnormalities if u think drivers are cheating. Why would you collect #500 and later go review the trip? To satisfy your ego or what? If you have accepted the loss and collected #500, then what’s the point of reviewing especially if it’s a cash trip? Point is if you collected the estimate and didn’t review, then it’s a case of ‘God catch you, I don do my own back’, which is cheating plain and simple. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by kodred(m): 8:34am On Nov 26, 2019 |
peeps4u: So he should pay for the app's failure? This isnt cheating. That is the loss the company will experience if they don't fix their apps Is this not fair? It’s simple what I am saying. If you collected #500, then there’s no need to review the trip that failed at #500.
But if you collected the estimated rider app amount and still did not review the ride, it’s pure stealing. |

izzou: I remember someone here shared how he took a rider from Lekki to MM2 and the trip showed #500. The lady paid him #500
I could go on and on, but I don't think you really understand the plight of this business
I have had riders who never paid me till today. Bolt told me there's nothing they can do. That's why I stopped looking for trips at Fela shrine
As long as there's no means to retrieve the cash from crazy riders, that issue will keep happening It’s simple what I am saying. If you collected #500, then there’s no need to review the trip that failed at #500. But if you collected the estimated rider app amount and still did not review the ride, it’s pure stealing. |

Cooladex: Are you serious about this or you're just joking? I'm pretty sure you ain't a driver. A trip of over 2hours will show 900, you ll do review and taxify would respond the second day, after you have collected 900 from rider. All they would keep telling you is they would compensate you. You know how many times I've heard that. Who lacks integrity here? Abeg I no wan hear that word again. If the trip fails, use the estimate from the rider’s app and do + or - depending on the traffic conditions. Then do a review. Deliberately not reviewing and collecting the estimate from the rider’s app is cheating. People don’t see it as cheating though. They see it as ‘God catch you’ because you lots are too vindictive. |

adsmaster: Same thing happened to me yesterday, did a trip from adedosu St off ijaiye road to banana island when I ended trip it was showing 900 naira had to use estimate. I didn't bother to do a price review make them take 15% from the 900 naira. Had these same issue last week I go review naaa so them collect there 20% from the reviewed price You guys should stop cheating taxify. Maybe that is why they increased their commission. Do a review and pay the actual commission. They linked you to the rider and gave you that money. They deserve their cut because without them, you wouldn’t have that money. Integrity guys.
