Icon4s: You don't get my point
They raised questions about Iwobi's effectiveness from the wings. I explained that even at that his level of effectiveness or ineffectiveness which ever way you look at it, he is better than either Musa or Simon. OK Sir |

asha80: he is the very mobile type that runs round the midfield breaking up opponent play and getting stuck in tackles.a but like a gattuso type player. he does not strike me like the type the plays his best just sitting in from of the defence a la makalele Yes you are right but this is national team where every player must play to coach instructions strictly. He just need to sit in front of defence cos we have Onazi,Etebo,Ogu and Joel who are good CM. |

Icon4s: We know all those.
The question is who is Rohr's first choice as a winger between Iwobi and Simon? It's Iwobi, against Poland and Serbia he was Rohr"s choice with Simeon on the bench. |

Mujtahida: watch his latest interview which i posted where the young man said that he prefers playing behind the striker or as a ten or false nine. playing him from the wings is as a result of poverty of imagination. i swear. in the real sense he is not even a winger. for him to play in the middle they say he lacks vision but vision was precisely what the others interviewed(his uncle and two others- jay jay's former team mate at bolton and the other was assistant to alladyce at bolton) in that video said was one of his good qualities. its just that Mikel is there. against argentina he operated from the wings but he was used as false nine in that match. all his goals for us has come from the middle. how about that for effectiveness. GBAM Mikel is there,EOD. |

players like emenike and co wan chop china money too na Mikel got him the deal and he even confirmed it after good performance in Greece league not westbrom. |

Joebie: With respect to the players in the team, I can mention some monikers that you can hardly tell where they are from based on their utterances as regards player selection etc.. what makes you a tribalist is the the behavior that stems from that strong loyalty to your tribe, not the loyalty itself, or as it is in your definition, an advocate or practitioner. I want players from my social group to do well (and that's not advocacy). However, if they are not measuring up I will say it as it is. So how am I tribalistic? Just say your are a tribalist and stop trying to rope everyone in. Where are you from by the way, so we can mark you. Pls let's end this tribal stuff it makes the thread sick. Joebie see what your joke don caused. Now trending in sports section that Nwakili has been invited to main team. Remember i said what we post here matter cos a lot see this thread as first class when it cones to info on Super eagles. |

Humility017: I will.agree with lokosa but simmy form of late in Italy and considering the fact that rohr rates the Italian league high.... you know rohr was once a defender..... many good defenders and strikers know what obtained in serie A. rutheles and good defenders but still simmy manage score good goals in those late matches...
simmy is not a bad addition at all.. he deserve to be there..... Good addition if he live up to billing cos his stats not really encouraging as a striker but hope to see him bringing the late form of Serbia A to eagles. |

I know his chance is slim. But nothing is certain yet. If he make it,now left for Rohr to decide who to drop,it's simple. |

Humility017: I wanted iwobi be kept for this.... he can as well come in for mikel in the second half.... So you expect Mikel to be subbed off in 2nd half in every match. I think if Mikel is not available then Iwobi can do it cos am seeing Iwobi starting from his right position with Mikel as AM. |

Ndidi is expected to play a few minutes against England and perhaps more against Czech Republic. By the time the first match comes, he will be fully fit.

Humility017: you know rohr can't take over 2 unfit players to the world cup.... how he recuperate fast will tell if he will make the list....
why rohr can manage ndidi and ekong because of their usefulness to the team... same can't easily be said of moses Simon...he is not even a starter. so gonna be an easy decision for rohr to make. Any player with injury should not make it irrespective of his stand in the team. Mikel and Echiejile failed to make it in 2010 and 2014 cos of injury. I remember how injured Daniel Amokachie and Emma Amuneke were forced to appeared in France 98 and Atlanta 96 respective. Even Ndidi injury situation should be managed very well cos am seeing us rushing the young man and better to avoid a scenario of Ebuehi aggravated groin injury. |

I will be so happy for him... hey. ....what if lokosa do excellently well against DR Congo? Chairman let's wait and see cos gatecrashers always failed us. This is the reason am not happy about Ideye,Kayode and Oyekwuru clubs situation and injury cos they are better than Lokosa and Simy. |

Icon4s: Joel will likely make it Russia. Once Agu and Agbo have been dropped I don't see Rohr dropping another midfielder. Simy is up against a defender. Sir between Simy and Joel cos Rohr is going to WC with 8 defenders but if i have my way i will pick Joel Obi. I'm okay with Ighalo, Iheanacho and possibly Musa as CF and we should know that the new SE doesn't depends on arrow head CF to score, our qualifiers and friendlies is a testimony that we don't depend on CF. |

elyte89: Baba no worry, let's bet...5,5naira echiejile dey go Elyte did you read my comment very well. This is not issue of betting but Echiejile making it depends on performance not automatic as you want me to believe cos he has been displaced by Idowu,so that assurance should not arise unless Rohr told you Echiejile is going no matter his performance. |

Pls answer this question, who was our LB during qualifiers? Echiejile right Now who is our LB? Idowu abi Did you asked yourself why? Against Poland Echiejile was on the bench abi and Idowu started Against Serbia Idowu was subbed off for who?Aina and Echiejile was on the bench, pls meaning what as football pundits? Hope you are following what is going on in the camp right, Idowu and Aina are ahead Echiejile need camp performance and may be friendly to make the team Sir this is not issue of experience but performance. isan: Idowu can use right also..why is rorh smirking at his back Idowu is a right footer and do play RB for his club just like Aina even Ebuehi is damn comfortable as LB cos i remember watching him playing for Ado Hagen against Mainz in friendly. If we want to base it on versatility then Echiejile is out but Rohr is a coach and his decision must be respected on who ever he picked. |

OMANBALA1: Rohr is using Aina as a left back and that is not favorable to him because is is competing with 2 natural left footers It should not be about two natural left footers but performance but we have only Echiejile as natural left footer. Honestly if not for lose of form i will picked Echiejile over Aina and Idowu but not getting playing time in Turkey and later Belgium 2nd division not damn good. |
