ocholawealth: The whole preemptive tacit and direct move by the justice ministry makes it obvious that there is more to this case than we all thought. please let us allow the police to do her job, after all Saraki is not a saint. Do you want to hear basic truth, trash from clueless IGP,do they think Saraki is Dino, some of you don't even know much about Saraki but just keeping on being emotional in your comments. The same Saraki that made sure a notorious cultist Bayo Ajia was sentenced to death until Ilorin emirates wade in and he was pardoned and now IGP want to use the killing of the same Bayo Ajia by rival cultists to nail Saraki. IGP should find meaningful thing to nail Saraki, not this cos all politicians are guilty of using touts and cultists during elections especially in Lagos. In Lagos alone we all know how Tinubu largesse has contributed to different division amongs touts and cultists and many have lost their life due to this political patronage. |

Ayomivic: Saraki you are a bad boy. So IGP too is not clean, now that you want to expose his dark secret he has no option than to let it die down
but kwarans know well that its not lie that alligation .Good boys are collecting salaries Thank you,is it today politicians are using touts and cultists for elections that we are seeing it as new thing. In the north the same story, the south south the same thing, also south east or do they think we forget how Tinubu was using NURTW touts and cultists during elections and many have die due to this but who investigate but now nabbing cultists in Kwara is now Saraki. |

Icon4s: As we speak Shehu has proven to be more dependable and more solid than Ebuehi.
A right back is first a defender before being a winger. Shehu has better defensive abilities than Ebuehi even though the former is better going forward.
We are up against teams that can mount pressure on our defense for full 90mins. Here, defensive ability advantage far outweighs offensive abilities.
I would pick Shehu's abilities over that of Ebuehi in the game against Croatia.
Shehu is still Rohr's first choice. Chief i think friendlies will do justice to that not only on Shehu and Ebuehi but other players. |

Omo I couldn't find a vehicle to get home, everywhere was silent and it was just around 6pm or so. By the time I got home (I can't remember how now) Senegal was leading one nil It was a match that Sunday Oliseh showed real patriotism. He came from the bench and took over the midfield from Senegal and settled the game. |

He is not a Commander in Chief, there are 109 Sarakis in the NASS, he's just first among equal..." Ovie Omo Agege Pls read the post again and pass sensible comment cos the issue is not Saraki and Omo Agege but Saraki and Lai Mohammed. Nobody i mean nobody recognise Lai Mohammed in Kwara politics, so he is a toothless bulldog, getting ministerial slot was due to Tinubu influenced not his participation in Kwara politics. Kwarans especially his constituency see Lai as a Lagosian and that's the more reason he always lose out in ordinary election. |
Politics › Re: Pdp’s Secret Deal For Saraki, Dogara, Tambuwal, Others by Kog45(m): 8:19am On May 20, 2018 |
PassingShot: Anyway, what I know is that PMB will sweep the Northern states more than he did in 2015.
He will win very big in the North except Benue, Kogi and possibly Plateau. He will defeat Saraki hands-down in Kwara and that will be the end of Saraki political dynasty in that state.
In the SW, irrespective of what PDP does, Lagos, Osun, Oyo, Ondo and Ogun are going to go the same way as 2015 (probably 60%:40%) in favour of APC. PDP will need to come up with a VP candidate who can be loved and accepted better than Osinbajo for them to have a chance.
Irrespective of what PDP does, PMB will score well above 25% in Edo, Cross-River, Delta, Imo, Rivers and even Enugu in 2019.
2019 will spell the end of politics for so many known political heavy weights. PMB will ensure that once and for all. PMB will defeat Saraki in Kwara? keep dreaming. |

Icon4s: I understand your point.
And I agree that discusing it or not cannot change anything.
We don't have it we don't have it.
if we can make comparisons of the quality of our outfield players of the 90s with the current ones why can't we also make comparisons of our 90s goalies with the current goalies too. Or is it now a taboo to discuss the goal keeping department?
And I agree with you that Rohr didn't handle the issue well.
We are watching and waiting but know that no player is free from critism ones you have put on the national team jersey. If any player does well, we give him credit else we bring out the cane. Yes Chief you are right and personally i don't see it as criticism but concerns. |

He should be all time africa best everyone know that but he was not the number prior to the 1990 worldcup, bell was. bell was dropped in the eve of the Argentina match. OK but wasn't rookie and still active with Espanyol as at 1990 |

Icon4s: Look, if he cannot face criticisms then he is not ready as a SE Goalkeeper. If you know he is that feeble minded why canvass for him?
Do you know the weight of responsibility resting on a goalkeeper at a WC? You think it is just about staying on the line and "paring" balls. You saw how uncoordinated and destabilized Uzoho was in our last two friendlies. Goal keepers improve over years and not just within weeks.
I just pray we have not shot ourselves on the foot already in that department.
We are taking a very huge gamble, I hope you know that.
I personally do not feel comfortable with gambles. Chief you are still on this goalkeeper matter, better listen to Mujtahida, just too late to complain but one thing is glaring the Rohr technical led team did not handle the issue very well. |

Icon4s: Those that followed African football in the 1980s and early 90s will know Thomas Nkono very well. Yes he was 3rd choice to Antoine Bell and Jacques Songo'o but he had in his bag several years of experience as a top flight goalkeeper. He was playing for Espanyol as at the 1990 WC. At that stage Nkono had seen it all o. No be be say na Rookie him be before them make him first choice. His case is different from that of Uzoho o. Thomas Nkono was all time Cameroon best keeper. He made his debut in 1976 and left the stage after Italian 90 and got a dramatic recalled to 1994 WC squad as a back up to Bell. Throughout his career with nafional team he was always number one,so comparison with Uzoho should not arise, is an insult cos this was a keeper that had over 241 appearances for Espanyol between 1982 -1990. The best keeper in Africa football history. |
