Even if OBJ is the President he cannot impeached Saraki.

Ask OBJ how Saraki destroyed Iyabo Obasanjo political career just to smite OBJ.

OBJ knew Saraki as one of the smartest and deadliest politician to deal with.

. Don't worry. He'll make the final cut.
Oyekwuru making the final cut is a tall dream, not that his quality is questionable but he has not been given much opportunities in the team and presently down with injury

Hope to see him making next list with Ideye and Kayode cos they are the kind of competitors that would slug it out with the regulars not Ajayi,Gabriel or Eze.

This is more reason the invitation of Joel Obi was damn good,a very quality player and any slacks from the regulars,he makes the team.

It means at this point we know over 90% of those that will make the final list.

It is really not likely that any new players will break into the team.

Rohr made it clear that this March friendlies are to assess new players. It doesn't necessarily mean they will get game time o. Maybe just to assess them closely in camp. Some, if not all may not even make match day squad for the Poland and Serbia friendlies.

Joel Obi may be a new comer to Rohr's team but not a new comer to the Super Eagles. IMO he was the only quality player that can add value left to be featured by Rohr. And with some good showings in the friendlies he stands a good chance of making it to Russia.
Yes baba icon4s, only Joel Obi cos of his quality.

Yes, he could be frustrating but he is important.

He gave 2 assists coming in as a late sub against Algeria and Argentina
Musa is better than Ajayi?not debatable and who was comparing the duo?

If not for club issues do they think Aayi is better than Ideye and Kayode even Nwakaeme.

Truly he deserve the call but very nauseating,Musa and Ajayi debate.

Firstly, we must all note something on this thread. Criticism does not mean hatred.
It has become a norm here that whenever you criticize a player or a team you are tagged "a hater".

This same thing has been transferred to if you criticize the local league then you hate the home based players. How can that be?

If I am not pleased with the way things are going am I not free to voice it out?

Even for some of those that are calling the league critics haters I know how far I went to defend the Flying Eagles crew's decision of selecting NPFL players for camping. Those that are pointing fingers today are even those criticizing the selection of those NPFL players. Why didn't I call them haters?

Of course if you are not a hater then you must be a lover.

So how many of the "lovers" of the NPFL here even watch the NPFL matches on TV? How many have used there money to buy tickets to watch them at stadiums? How many watch CAF Club Competition matches live on TV. How many have burnt there data to watch these games online?
How many have any NPFL Club they support?
You are a lover but you don't Identify with them. That one na Love?

Talking about my coaching certificate, you don't have to be a coach to be a sports administrator. We know those that have the say in sports administration in Nigeria, we can only criticize and recommend which is what we do as analysts of the game.

Talking about Stephen Odey, those who were long enough on this thread know how I personally clamored for the inclusion of Odey in the Amuneke's U20 Team. But I kicked against his inclusion in the Super Eagles because he was not (even now) a Super Eagles material. Does that mean I hate him?

If someone should prefer a player over the other, that is his choice or Opinion. It does not mean he hates the other player.

We all want the best for our national team and leagues. Nobody should be tagged a name for showing his displeasures or preferences.
Oga icon4s no wahala.Respect.

Let me burst your bubble.

Wenger rotates his GK. Cech for league, Ospina for cup
Pep - Ederson for league, Bravo for cup
Enersto - Ste the gen for league, Cilleson for cup. Etc

Alot of white coaches rotate their GKs too, yesterday was just a wrong approach in terms of tactics sir.
Yes they do rotate when it comes to unimportant matches.

Be fair to the coach abeg, fine he started the game with the wrong approach but he was the same person that rectified it which brought the game to a respectable 4:2.

Odah was the GK while Ajiboye was away and he had alot of clean sheets, it was normal for the coach to continue with such GK who didn't give him any reason to change him. (Don't fix it if it's not broken they say).

According to Tbaba, the defence exposed the GK and also the tactics, maybe Ajiboye would have been the one conceding the 3 goals just as he conceded the 4 goals against CHAN morroco and that would have soiled him more.

I hope you got my points sir?
Honestly not condemning the keeper but why white coach always stick to their number one and not care about 2nd choice performance if the number one is available.

I remember when Courtious got injury and Cech stood in with good performance but when Courtious returned,Mourinho handed him his number one position straight.

That's my point not blaming Odah for those goals i even expect Odah to move to another club to command regular shirt, watching him in NPFL invitational tournament showed that he has it.

If your answers are "No". Then you equally hate the NPFL.

Age Discrepancy – NPFL Top Scorer Lokosa Disagrees With Kano Pillars Over His Real Age

https://i0.wp.com/owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/3C56E85B-52FC-478D-8B69-5E726A90F8B4-9197-0000045DB7C1AEFB.jpeg

A mild disagreement over the true age of red hot Kano Pillars striker Junior Lokosa is currently going on between the present top scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and the Kano based team.

Lokosa who has scored ten goals for from eleven games this season in the NPFL had trials in Norway three years ago before joining Kano Pillars last season from Lagos based side First Bank Football Club.

The striker on his part said he is 24 years old while Pillars officially claim that he is 22 years old. A fact backed by the player’s league licence signed by the player for registration in the NPFL.

Despite the confusion over his true age, there is no confusion over his ability to put the ball in the back of net judging by his present streak in the NPFL, which could see him shatter the NPFL record of 23 goals a season scored by Mfon Udoh of Enyimba three seasons ago.

As opposed to many top scorers in the Nigeria Professional Football League in past seasons, Lokosa have scored just once from the spot unlike most top scorers in the league in previous seasons, who rely more on penalties to grow their tally.
Already tipped to leave the Kano side for a team abroad, it is believed that Lagos born Lokosa who is now the darling of the Kano Pillars faithfuls isn’t keen on representing Nigeria at youth level, as he is more concerned about taking his trade abroad.

Official – Rohr Calls Up 28 Players For Super Eagles March Friendlies, Two CHAN Eagles Selected

https://i0.wp.com/owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/IMG_3914.jpg

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have stepped up their preparations for the World Cup 2018 in Russia with confirmation from the coach Gernot Rohr that a total of 28 players have been called up for their first set of friendly games later this month.

The Eagles will trade tackles with Poland before taking on Serbia in another pre World Cup friendly as Rohr looks to put his team in shape before the start of the World Cup in June.

Speaking in a chat witnessed by Owngoalnigeria.com, the coach confirmed that 28 players will make the squad for the upcoming friendly games, with two players from the CHAN team included in the list.

”I am going to have a list of 28 players for the two games and there will be two players from the CHAN team of Morocco. I was there I saw all the games”, Rohr said in Lagos during the interview.

” I was living with them and my assistant Yusuf (Salisu) did a big job with Alloy (Agu), the goalkeeper trainer and also the medical staff, they did very well with Imama also. So it’s the same squad I have with me in my world cup.

“We are sure the informations are always first class informations. And then yes, so I will believe two players will be in the list, they can have a chance”, the coach concluded.

TheSuperNerd did you known why our coaches will always receiving bashing and knocks.

I don't expect any coach to drop Ezenwa or Ajiboye on the bench based on their experience with national team.

This is more reasons foreign coaches would always have an edge. They don't joke with their first choice unless on injury or card situation.

In NPFL they changed keeper like clothes, one for home the other for away,so how do we get a good keeper for national team.

Truly Odah had a great start this season but that should not give him an edge in this particular match, not blaming the young man but the coach.

Sometimes they got carried away with little show, remember how Oliseh benched Mikel for Onobi, craziness.

Criticism is not equal to hatred. I would not spend 2 hours watching an NPFL team if i hated the league so much. I did not watch any European champions league game but i watched Plateau United play.

The same way, i watched Rangers and Rivers United last year.

My position on the league has been the same for a long time, the standard needs to improve. It does not mean that we do not have good players. We have always produced good players and will continue to.

Our league has the potential to be as good as the Brazilian league with the number of raw talents we have but our league does not provide the platform for players to reach that potential. Many talented players depreciate, others go abroad to start football education from the basics.

Today, we saw an example of a talented side who started with the wrong approach and were 3:0 down before 10 minutes.
Honestly i wanted to ask why you hate anything related to home especially football but good you came out to put it straight.

Sir based on your last paragraph,it happens and it's not peculiar to NPFL teams alone cos we have seen world class coaches making tactical errors and they were punished for it

It is as if you do not understand me.

Odey scored several goals in the league. As a result, pressure was mounted on Rohr to invite him to the national team. That is where the hype comes from, not the number of goals he scored.

At some point, we have to wait and see if players push on and whether they can perform at higher levels.

Switzerland is good for his development but he is no where near national team level now.

We need to stop putting too much stock/value on who is scoring so much in the NPFL, it does not mean that much because the league is poor. Okpotu was top scorer in the league.

The real test is when the players go to higher levels and can prove themselves. That is when we will know who is really quality.
