Icon4s: I am not defending Ghana. I am just exercising some caution.
I have seen things like these play out over and over. A team that has booked a place and also first spot to the next round of a competition typical dont give their best in their last group game. If Ghana had needed a win against Nigeria to qualify I hope you know they would want to die on that pitch.
By and large kudos to the boys but if we meet Ghana again and this time in the final they shouldn't expect an easy ride But Ghana w want Nigeria to be eliminated than meeting us again, probably in d final. |

Icon4s: The bolded is exactly my point.
Saying he is ripe to partner with Ekong or Balogun just from watching him against Ghana is what I am against. Agreed but better for Eze and Adeleye to be in camp than inviting very average CB in d name of playing in Europe. |

Joebie: Game ends 1-1. Wolfsburg's misery continue. I hope them no change coach again after 3 more games.. lol
Yes, besides Balogun we don't have any defender playing in the big leagues. So it would be a wonderful thing to have Uduokhai. Not even big leagues but solid as Balogun especially CB position, with due respect to Ekong i still have my reservation.Awaziem sorry to say i don't rate him with what i saw against South Africa, hope he prove me wrong,Agbo too average for SE. Rohr just need to address this before it's too late, initially i thought our fullbacks are d issue but with availability of player like Shehu, Echiejele,Aina,Ebuehi, may be Okoro and hopefully Nura Abdullahi we are covered. I don't know how serious NFF or Rohr towards d full switch of Uduokhai to Nigeria,if d guy is available better for d team but my attention shifted to this WAFU tourney and i can say am impress with Eze,Adeleye,Okoro, though we might say d oppositions are weak but those guy are showing promises, hope Rohr is watching. The Eze and Adeleye i saw against Ghana cannot be worse than Awaziem i saw against South Africa,so need to call this guys to camp and learn. |

OMANBALA1: Apart from the free kick Okoro scored against Siera Leone I have seen much of him...Nothing spectacular. Apart from the free kick d guy has been solid as RB so far with good tackling and ball distribution.I needed to watch him closely coz of goldfish80 highly rating. |

Icon4s: I totally disagree with the third bullet point. You also need to consider the strength of your opposition when making comparisons. If the author had said he deserves a call up to the Super Eagles fine but to say he is ripe to partner with any of Balogun or Ekong is a hype to me.
Besides also, let us not over celebrate. Ghana had already qualified and their top spot was certain no matter the result.
Third group matches for teams that have sealed qualification and top spot are always like that.
They don't typically put in too much because of suspension and injuries. Their coach also may have rested key players and those at risk of missing the semis if they get a second yellow.
If we meet with them again in the final be sure it will be a different ball game.
Kudos to the boys all the same. On d third bullet point, well said, truly opposition determine player ability but sometimes it did not. When u see a class irrespective of opposition u know this particular player is good. I just watched d match now coz I don't have d chance to watch it live, with what i saw Olamilekan Adeleye deserves a call up to mainstream super eagles ASAP may be is ready to partner Ekong or Balogun,i w say too early to say that but it w be good for him to be in camp and learn from big boys. As u said a more competitive matches w determine his ability but to me d guy is a rock that need to be polish,he just remind me of injury prone Oyekachi Apam. It is better to have this guys Eze and Adeleye than calling average defenders like Uche Agbo to camp always.Oboboana made it straight from sunshine to Super Eagles XI. |

What has Yoruba lyrics got to do with music. If u don't know King Sunny Ade was nominated for Grammy Award in 1978,also nominated again, may be 1998,if i could remember an album tagged ODU got nominated. So forget language barrier, when your music is appealing, u get d recognition. I believe our artists should learn from d older ones, when u are good or your music is appealing d international audience w seek for u.Femi Kuti was nominated severally for Grammy, also Sunny Ade twice.2face won numerous international awards without trying to break into international market.2face first solo album was produce here in Nigeria and was acceptable winning numerous awards except Grammy. A good music can take you to anywhere irrespective of language u use,ask a Senegalese Grammy award winner diouf,he w tell u music is music irrespective of language, all u need is getting it right. Don't u know most rated Nigeria artist are wacks give them mic to sing for u live then u w know what am saying.I watch 2face live and i can say yeah d guy is damn good,no arguments about it.ASA too a great brand ,Flavour too can do it live, but what can u say about artist like Davido or Psquare who find it so difficult to give us good music live on Glo award night. |

TheSuperNerd: Super Eagles Defensive Stalwart Troost-Ekong Pleased To Score Fifth Career Goal
https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/39926Ekong.png
William Troost-Ekong was delighted to net his maiden goal in the colours of Bursaspor in their 4-2 road win over Yeni Malatyaspor on match day five in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.
The central defender, making his fifth straight start in the Turkish top-flight, blasted home a loose ball in the 12th minute to open the scoring for his team.
Writing on Twitter, the former Netherlands youth-teamer stated : ''All Glory to God! So happy my first goal for @BursasporSk''.
As a defender for club and country, Troost-Ekong's main job description is to stop the opponents from scoring, but he has added goals to his games in recent seasons.
The 24-year-old has written his name on the score-sheet five times since he netted his first professional goal against Aalesunds FK on March 19, 2016.
Ekong and international teammate Mikel Agu went the distance against Yeni Malatyaspor.

Only thing is Nacho comes with heavy buyback fee for a young African player and Hopefully he lives up to the tag with time. Kid just had his first start after struggling to get back from the toe injury setback and get his fitness levels up.. so give him a break!! haba!
So again.. talk to Slimani.... he is the one your message is for based on "most expensive" not Nacho... Truly yea Slimani,a total flopped with that huge money but Nacho is our own,so he must not follow Slimani path coz it w definitely have effects in d national team, look at Algeria team. I want to see Nacho doing it d way Ndidi is doing it week in week out, despite d team poor performance, Ndidii is always getting high rating. Let us see how things play out. Yea u are right,a team that can still boast of Vardy,Mahrez,Okazaka,Ndidi replacing Kante,Slimani, and now Nacho shouldn't find it difficult in EPL. |

komekn: Watched Tega Abraham yesterday against Tottenham for a 19 year old his performance was astounding. Leading the attack for Swansea in the EPL he's definitely real quality.
I have watched him since he was 15/16 his level is just improving at a very fast upward spiral. Positional sense, anticipation and awareness, he now also has presence and lots of Shakara technical ability and yes he got some pace.
Amaju no time to waste call him now to eat Owo and starch before it is too late. I currently rate him more than Rashford, than Dembele he brings more to the table. He is also younger than all these guys. If u can rate this young lad more than Rashford and Dembele, then Nigeria should forget him.I don't think England w allow him to play for us,also NFF attitudes.Do u know how long it took NFF to finish Aina paper or what do u think of losing Akanji. Funny enough,Amaju was banking on his relationship with his Father, this foreign born think differently except few ones that were brought up in our own way in foreign Land.I hope Tammy have great influence of his Dad just like Aina's Dad. Pls just look at Tournarigba Ojokojo and Irofa case. This two lads should have been d easiest switch for Nigeria but funny enough Dominic Irofa of all people telling us his son w decide for himself, also Ojokojo that i know very well in shooting star saying his son wanna play for Germany. So what is our hope on Abraham Tammy,Solanke,Onomah,Ojo,Adarabioyo etc if we can not easily get d likes of Irofa and Ojokojo who are lucky to have Father who are home grown ex player. |

TheGoodJoe: Finger pointing will be a joke by fans and pundits (although I do not see this happening) because it is obvious the system is poor and thrash. History of the EPL points fingers to managers and not players. True talk managers always feel d heat but can we say Leicester is a big team, truly they won EPL but wasn't surprise with their performance so far or what do u expect, credit to Ranieri for giving d club good image.Shakespeare came in and make sure d team remain in EPL and we must give him that credit. I know u are not happy with d development of Nacho,Ndidi even Musa under Shakespeare but there is nothing anybody can do about it.It's either our players perform or face d music like Musa.Thank God Ndidi is doing it weekly and hope Nacho should do d same thing irrespective of what Shakespeare bring to d table.Mind u £25m is not a joke,so high expectations on Nacho to deliver. How i wish Nacho join club like Dortmund where he can blossom well but sometimes players always have their reason for chosen club.Truly Leicester want him more than any other club at that moment, just let see how it goes but i believe Nacho w show his class. |

In 1983 in Nigeria when Shehu Shagari was the President of Nigeria, an executive order was given to immigrants without proper immigration documents to leave the country or they would be arrested according to the law. Most of the immigrants were West Africans and mainly Ghanaians. Over 2 million men, women and children were affected by this news and decision of then President of Nigeria, Shehu Shagari
