This is the reason for the suspension of interview waivers for visa renewals in Nigeria.

According to data provided by U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Consular Affairs, Nigeria alone accounted for 132,137 (or over 25 percent) of non-immigrant visas issued to Africans in 2018. Nigeria also came third, behind Brazil and Venezuela, for countries with a record of visa overstays in 2018.

And it is a follow-up to this article in the Wall Street Journal:

President Trump and his top aides are weighing rules designed to clamp down on countries whose nationals overstay short-term visitor visas as part of a broader push for new ways to curb immigration.

The effort would target nationals of countries with high overstay rates of such visas, which include the African nations of Nigeria, Chad, Eritrea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, according to Department of Homeland Security data.

Ike Nwala Is A Black Comedian Who Has Become Japan’s Most Unlikely Star (HBO)

Born in New York and raised in Washington, Nigerian-Amerian Ike Nwala moved to Japan at the age of 20 for a job with Goldman Sachs, but instead became an overnight celebrity to everyone's amazement.

If you turn on the television in Japan, you're likely to see a black face from time to time. You'll mostly only see them on game shows, comedy shows and maybe even some commercials. It might not be commonplace to see them, but they are definitely out there.

Check out his interview with Vice about his experience being famous in Japan:

Killeen 2015-present
Timothy L. Killeen was named as the 20th president of the University of Illinois in November 2014 after a national search. He assumed office on May 18, 2015, following the retirement of Robert Easter.

"The University of Illinois will continue to broaden opportunity; educate, enrich, and empower our students; discover, create, and disseminate the new knowledge needed for our common future; and drive economic development through innovation – all with a commitment to scholarship and excellence and in service to the public good,” he said at the time of his selection.

During his first week in office, Killeen and the three campus chancellors visited all three campuses of the U of I as well as the regional campuses in Peoria and Rockford. In addition to meeting with groups of students and faculty, they hosted town hall meetings at each location to gather input and hear concerns.

Before he took office, Killeen was charged by the Board of Trustees to develop a university-wide strategic plan.

There is a lot of false reporting in Nigerian newspapers and websites.

It is more appropriate to say that Professor Adesida is the first American of Nigerian/Yoruba descent to become a Provost (who reports to the President) at a leading/flagship public university in America. Professor Adesida was in charge of one campus - Urbana. The President, Timothy L. Killeen, administers the three campuses of the University of Illinois system (Urbana-Champaign campus, Chicago campus and Springfield campus).

In the United States, a college or university is typically supervised by a President or Chancellor who reports regularly to a Board of Trustees (made up of individuals from outside the institution) and who serves as Chief Executive Officer. Most large colleges and universities now use an administrative structure with a tier of vice presidents, among whom the Provost (or Vice President for Academic Affairs, or Academic Dean) serves as the chief academic officer.

Professor Adesida was the vice chancellor for academic affairs and provost at the University of Illinois, Urbana campus (2012 - 2015), which is the equivalent of a Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) - Academic in the Nigerian university system. He was never the head of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

NHS ‘could be short of 350,000 staff by 2030’
The staffing crisis in the NHS is deepening so fast that the service could be short of 350,000 key personnel by 2030, health experts have warned.

The NHS in England is already short of over 100,000 staff, including 10,000 doctors and 40,000 nurses, official figures show. However, on current trends, analysts project that the gap between staff needed and the number available could reach almost 250,000 by 2020.

"We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one."
1 John 5:19 (New International Version)

The evil (or wicked) one is Satan. The children of God (Bible-believing Christians) are not under the control of Satan.

All the world leaders you see are actors playing out their roles for their master. It's all a show.

It reminds me of Shakespeare's play As You Like It - "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages."
Foreign AffairsRe: Obama And Hillary Clinton Called Out Over Sri Lanka Church Bombings by Kolping: 5:51pm On Apr 22, 2019
It you think that any of these world leaders are Christians, then you are yet to understand what is written in the Bible. That includes the so-called men and women who are wolves in sheep's clothing preaching doctrines of demons.

Nigerian women warned not to come to Britain in government campaign
‘Modern slavery is one of the greatest human rights abuses of our time,’ says Penny Mordaunt

The UK government is backing an advertising campaign urging Nigerian women and girls to find jobs at home instead of “risking a life of modern slavery” in Britain.

Posters are to be placed in schools, churches and marketplaces in an attempt to reduce human trafficking, sexual exploitation and forced labour.

The campaign focuses on “aspirational stories of women who have established successful careers in Nigeria”, according to the Department for International Development.

The Not for Sale campaign is supported by UK aid and involves the National Crime Agency and the UK’s Joint Border Task Force as well as Nigerian law enforcement.

White House Weighs Broader Immigration Curbs
New rules would clamp down on countries whose nationals overstay their visas
Wall Street Journal
By Louise Radnofsky and Rebecca Ballhaus
Updated April 14, 2019 7:32 p.m. ET

WASHINGTON—President Trump and his top aides are weighing rules designed to clamp down on countries whose nationals overstay short-term visitor visas as part of a broader push for new ways to curb immigration.

The effort would target nationals of countries with high overstay rates of such visas, which include the African nations of Nigeria, Chad, Eritrea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, according to Department of Homeland Security data. The U.S. as part of a new rule would tell the countries’ governments that if rates don’t reverse, then future visas could be shorter or harder to get, according to an administration official who described the move as putting those countries “on notice.” Ultimately, nationals from countries with high overstay rates could be barred entirely, though the official said no ban is now under consideration.

LGBT lessons: Schools told they can choose what to teach
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-47870610

It is up to primary schools in England to choose what they teach about same-sex relationships, the education secretary has said.

Damian Hinds has written to head teachers saying they are encouraged to teach children about LGBT issues if they "consider it age appropriate".

He said heads should consult parents but reassured them parents had no right to veto what was taught.

In England, relationships education will be compulsory for all primary pupils from September 2020. Sex education will also be compulsory for all secondary pupils from that date.

The unfortunate thing is that when you visit the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria's office, the toilet he and his staff use has running water and cleaners on standby.

Even academic staff don't have proper toilets to use in their office buildings. Most use the nearby bushes to urinate, both male and female, professors and graduate assistants. If you need to do number 2, then you're in for trouble - you'll have to go back home if you live nearby or ...

Yet Vice Chancellors of Nigerian universities junket around the world collecting estacode under the guise of seeking collaboration with foreign universities. They see how universities are run with proper facilities for staff and students. Why not as a first step reduce some of these expensive foreign trips and use the income from student fees to provide basic facilities like running water for toilets in and pay cleaners adequately.

The first use of a flush toilet dates back to the 18th century. This is 2019...
