That'd be a huge step forward for Journalism in Nigeria. On-the-spot reporting and all. Enough of Nigerian television stations latching onto CNN, BBC or Al Jazeera to report about live events in Nigeria.

FamilyRe: To The Men, I'm Just Wondering Why. by Konjour(m): 7:22am On Nov 18, 2013
Its not peculiar to all men at all. In some homes I've been to, the Dads are the natural workaholics and the Moms are usually the lazier halves, ALWAYS relying on the housemaid to bail them out of every imaginable task at hand. Not trying to instigate a battle of the sexes, but no gender is naturally wired to be Workaholic or lazy, it boils down to what obtains from one particular individual to the next.

UNLEASHED: Yes I see Nigeria winning the world cup

ON

FIFA 14
Man, to win a World cup in Fifa 14 with Nigeria, you've got to be doing one of these :

1. Have edited the Nigerian team in the game.

2. Be playing in the Rookie, Beginner or Learner mode.

3. Be extra-ordinarily good with playing FIFA 14.

4. You're probably playing the Alaba version of FIFA 14.
SportsRe: Do You See Nigeria Winning The World Cup? by Konjour(m): 9:42pm On Nov 16, 2013
Don't let Nigeria winning the U-17 World Cup fool you. Those U-17 (or was it U-25) guys played with all they've got cuz they haven't begun wearing Rolex wristwatches, riding in huge automobiles, playing under the expectation of being a household name, dating 3 or 4 top actresses in Nigeria at once, or perhaps because they've not started making our annual wages in a week. When they start doing all that, we all know what usually sets in. The current Nigerian Super Eagles' team is filled with quality players but a quarter final or a semi final place would be celebrated around Africa like we just won the cup. Let's just enjoy the fact that we'll be participating in a World Cup once more. Honestly, I'm not expecting us to proceed out of the group in which we'll be placed but I'll be very happy to be proved wrong.
TravelRe: Meet The Man Who Has Stepped Foot To Every Country On Earth Without Plane by Konjour(m): 1:13pm On Nov 14, 2013
I watched his travel diaries everyday on the National Geographic Channel, dude was even initiated into secret cults in Cameroun and South Africa and he saw it a part of an adventure, I think he was also arrested in about 4-5 countries or thereabout for trespassing lolz. However, when he was passing through Nigeria, the major sticking point that still rings through my mind was when he complained of how a lot of Nigerian drivers drove like lunatics and people who've never held driving licenses (which is very true). He also filmed a few live accidents to buttress his point. The journey was too hazardous though, don't think I would wanna do stuff like that.
Christianity EtcRe: Celestial Church doctrines by Konjour(m): 1:02pm On Nov 14, 2013
True men of God and prophets won't ask you to pay a dime for your troubles. Most of the real ones won't even take your money if you wanted to give them as a token. Anyone who ASKS you for money to pray for you whilst bearing the toga of a Prophet is a fraud. If there's anything (prayer relics) you ought to purchase, you'd be the person to purchase that yourself. Salvation is free.

CelebritiesRe: Why Is Tiwa Savage Wedding A Married Man, When His Divorce Isn’t Final? by Konjour(m): 9:25am On Nov 14, 2013
Well, she shouldn't complain then if the said man opts to date and perhaps marry another woman when the initial thrills of their marriage has fizzled out. It all comes in the shape of turns and roundabouts.
EducationRe: Strike Will Continue Until Prof. Iyayi Is Buried, Says ASUU by Konjour(m): 9:19am On Nov 14, 2013
Only in Nigeria would an association of University lecturers prolong a 4 month old strike further as a way of showing solidarity for a dead colleague. Or were students the ones responsible for the road crash accident? Misplaced priorities and more misplaced priorities. Smh.
RomanceRe: Guy Proposed To Girlfriend Dressed As A Homeless Man by Konjour(m): 9:45pm On Nov 09, 2013
booqee: aww......dis is so lovely..m gonna cry. cry but when will our naija guys get so creatively romantic.
So you mean, if you were that girl (being 9ja), you'd go all weak in the knees and shout "Yes!"?

I thought an example of what a lot of Nigerian girls understand as being creatively romantic is proposing to them by parking a brand new Range Rover Sport in front of their house, with the keys in a box which also contains a hand-written note on which 'Will you marry me?' is inscribed.
PoliticsRe: The House Of Reps Has Concluded That Mrs. Stella Oduah Is A Serial Liar by Konjour(m): 8:17am On Nov 08, 2013
If they've got all the evidence needed to indict her, let them just go ahead already and 'Do the needful'. If it plays out for too long, the case would gradually die off subconciously in the minds of a lot of Nigerians.

indoorlove: How were you able to come to this generalization? Or do u mean you could simply tell the nationality of anybody you meet.
Man, how did I generalize? How does 'a lot of' represent the entire populace of the Nigerians who frequent clubs in India? I was in a club all night, saw, and mingled with every single Nigerian in that particular club that night and the next, and how won't you recognize typical Nigerian guys from a short distance off even if you met them loitering on the rings of Saturn, talkless of people you partied and discussed at length with? They operated in gangs and like I said, 98% of the Nigerians in that place at that time then had stuff to deal cuz I saw it, and a similar picture is what obtains in a lot of other clubs, (so I was told by others who've been there too). Read what I wrote again man, perhaps you'd understand properly this time.
Foreign AffairsRe: Zimbabwe's Mr. Ugly 2012 Reclaims Title by Konjour(m): 5:50pm On Nov 07, 2013
Infact, there are no 'Ugly' people, there are just those who are richer, those who look better naturally or are better groomed. You'd rarely see a very very rich man that you'd call 'Ugly', cuz if he should show you the figures in his bank account, you might look at his face again and become a sudden optimist that 'he doesn't look that bad afterall' lolzzz.
FamilyRe: Why Is Divorce Not An Option For Most Nigerian Women? by Konjour(m): 5:29pm On Nov 07, 2013
Financial dependence or not. If you're dating a man who is likely to abuse you in one form or the other, you WILL see the signs but you might either acknowledge these signs or waiver them. Heck, if he's going to be an alcoholic, a chain smoker, a thug, a stingy bastard, a love-vendor, a lazy goat etc you'd know cuz I've rarely seen a man with non-alcoholic habits or someone without a hint of all these other attributes suddenly take them up post marriage. The warning signs would definitely be there, but some women might disregard these signs based on their own mindset and beliefs e.g The 'He will change after marriage' brigade. RIP to the dead woman. I hope the man is caught and made to dance to the beats he's produced. Domestic abuse and how the genders come into play has never been in black and white, most of the areas involved are completely shaded in deep grey. But as I opined earlier, if you know the kind of person you can't live it, size up whoever you are dating and make a bold decision. If you're married already, and you're being abused without any signs that your partner might turn a new leaf, do a fast one and take a walk. Signing divorce papers and living with the divorcee stigma in Nigeria or wherever has got to be much better than being a slave for life, or worse still, a corpse incapable of casting blames or deciphering right from wrong. Believe me this, those you're scared of facing up to their ridicule or scorn as a divorcee would be the same people blaming you at your funeral for not taking a walk earlier.
Foreign AffairsRe: Zimbabwe's Mr. Ugly 2012 Reclaims Title by Konjour(m): 3:50pm On Nov 07, 2013
Just as we've got people that are more beautiful/handsome than those who partake in Beauty contests, so do we have folks who are much, much worse than the winner of this.....Ugliness....contest? But those ones won't really come out to contest cuz of the stigma, low confidence levels, inferiority complex and all. Anyone partaking in this kinda stuff has gotta have a huge dose of self confidence. Its not an easy one to pull off....and he also has a wife. smiley Aigoo!
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Grants Citizenship To 174 Foreigners by Konjour(m): 3:40pm On Nov 07, 2013
I find it intriguing though that none of the new citizens are from really developed countries though, prolly with the exception of Singapore and South Korea. Does Nigeria have a law prohibiting the naturalization of folks who've got roots in the United Kingdom, United States, and other european states? Heck...none from Australia, Canada, the South Americas and all. There must be a reason why people from those regions are in low numbers or none at all lolzzzz. Its all good though. As Nigerians, we can't kill ourselves since we were not the ones who opted for Nigerian parents. Nature did that herself.
PoliticsRe: Goa Minister Compares Nigerians To Cancer! by Konjour(m): 3:25pm On Nov 07, 2013
Nigeria and Nigerians have a long way to go in redeeming the negativity that beclouds almost anything that's associated with the country. I was in Bangalore, Karnataka during the Christmas/New year holidays in 2009, visited one particular nightclub on the popular but infamous M.G road then, and you could plainly see and hear that all what 98% of the Nigerians in that nightclub that night were into was drugs, drugs, drugs. It almost practically oozed out of the pores of their skins. A similar setting is what obtains in a lot of the clubs in other Indian states too. Frankly, Nigeria becoming a better place to live and work won't be a relief for Nigerians residing in Nigeria alone, it would be a bigger relief for all the countries Nigerians frequent for negative purposes. We can only hope that that Nigeria becomes a reality in our lifetimes though.

PoliticsRe: Lekki International Airport by Konjour(m): 9:30am On Nov 04, 2013
Hmm. Lagos is defo following in the footsteps of the master-builders of London, New York, Singapore and other mega-cities with multiple airports capable of handling international flights. It'd be a huge relief and refreshing for the passengers too I guess, with the change of scenery and all that cuz the current state of MMA is still decrepit in comparison to a lot of domestic airports in other African countries.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians To Experience A Week Of Blackout by Konjour(m): 9:22am On Nov 04, 2013
If it'd result in a vastly noticeable positive difference in terms of Electricity supply in Nigeria, then they should even take two weeks if they need to. However, I doubt anyone would notice any difference whatsoever. I hope I'm made to eat my words though.

Bome01: *In Jesus words* Who of you is not a sinner should cast the first stone!
You'd do well to quit quoting the Scriptures out of context man. Religion and homosexuality don't flow together nicely. Say what you wanna, but don't try justifying homos with the bible, Kapiche?!

darnley16: u have successful explained why gay ppl shouldn't be given freedom right? Cos the whole txt u wrote was shameless and pure wastage of space,,, leave the gays to roam bytch,,,, I bet ure even worse than them... Who knows u might even be a murderer ,,, huh? Why don't we strip u of u own rights bytch??
Dude, you gay innit? Lolz. Wouldn't reply keyboard warriors everyday mate but I'd tell you this: If you sure of your onions though, come out of your hiding hole and declare yourself as being gay in Nigeria or Russia. With the tolerance levels of Nigerians that I see everyday, I guarantee you that that's the last time you'd ever speak a word or draw a breath, and you would be a cat with 18 lives if you're still alive by the time the Police gets close to you (By the way, I'm sure your father would admit it was a mistake sleeping with your mama if he knew he'd bring a gay bastard forth from his loins).
