What of the people he had come in contact with prior to his containment? Have they also been contained? |
That man has refused to be outdone by women wearing G-strings ![]() |
musaibnabdul: In less than 72 hours, three attacks have been carried out against muslim in kaduna state. The first two where bomb attacks and yesterday was a gun attack on shiite procesion by Nigerian Military in zaria. Theories spreading all over North. What is the rationale behind your submission that those twin bomb attacks were specifically aimed ONLY towards the Muslims in Kaduna? |
This plane crash has not been given enough coverage I think, probably due to the fact that it happened just days after the dramatic plucking of MH-17. That said, 2 airplanes crashing in a matter of days. Worse still, there are no cogent factors which have been highlighted as the cause of the latest crash just yet. Crazy world going crazier. |
I'm practically starved of good news coming from Nigeria. Effective containment of this virus would be a fantastic bit to start with as it has the ability to snowball into a mind numbing epidemic in Nigeria if a lid is not kept on it. Needless to say visitors from other afflicted countries should be quarantined. That's obvious. May God help the country in conquering its demons. |
He should have stayed away. He left when the ovation was loudest. I fear he might not be as effective as he once was and the fickle fans of his club would waste no time in berating him or Mou if his second spell runs into a jam. |
Maid. Handmaiden. Househelp. Domestic staff. They're all functional names and if the girl in question is being treated fairly and is being paid the wages for the services she renders, I don't see any cause for an 'outrage' by people who've probably got same in their homes. Being a househelp is an unfortunate position to be in, in my opinion. But the girl in question still attends college which is the first thing I noticed and I think her tuition is probably being footed by her boss which would be a great thing to do. In due course, she'll become her own boss by getting educated. The 'outrage' people feel about the title 'maid' is probably due to the continuous use of the word by the employer but honestly, it shouldn't be anybody's headache. She who pays the piper dictates the tune innit?! |
Most of the woman's excuses range from being hilarious to being cynical. Its really irritating when women start using sex as a weapon in their relationships. They enjoy sex just as well, don't they? SMH A lot of husbands do pray for such opportunities everyday so that they can let loose. A spreadsheet detailing all their rejected advances would be an earth quaking bonus for 'em. She's gotta be one damn lucky woman, though a bit stupid if she thinks the best place for her to exhibit her husband's intimate grievances is on a social network. |
All the names mentioned are predominantly borne by muslims of the Yoruba race. So, you don't have to be intelligent to know that the names have got Islamic roots. Nevertheless, its not a harmful thing to know. |
RIP to the dead. Without insinuating that that is the case in this situation, when folks see a products tanker heading for a tumble, all they should attempt to do is to flee as fast as possible away from the vicinity of such. No one should attempt making a fast buck by running over to scoop oil into buckets, jerrycans etc. You can only sell the scooped material for money though if you're alive. I've never seen a ghost selling fuel on the 'Black market'. |
Will defo try out the battery booster part. I guess that will be useful for a lot of other Blackberry users as well. *Just did, it isn't working.* |
Is one party supposed to be doing the other a favour by being in a relationship with each other? ![]() To the best of my knowledge, its akin to a symbiotic system. Both were made to complement each other, to be team mates and not opponents. And as a matter of fact, the genders won't survive without one another. The males will be naturally dominant however you're free to regard the roles of women as mere bystanders in relationships to your own detriment. *Trying hard to imagine who can claim to be doing the other a favour among my parents is as funny as the jokes come...What they achieve by working together though is far greater than anything the ordinary sum of their individual parts would go close to.* |
Krystalxxx: Lwkmd...is it nt these same pple dat are insulting that will come back and watch the videos? What happpened to all the gospel music, why is it that those ones r not selling as much as secular music with ass and boobs? If guys don't see such it won't sell. But you can still sleep with that same girl, doesn't it mean you're the same as her? Or......u can't be blamed for your indecency but she can abi? That's Naija for usSex sells, that's an understatement. The fact that people watch the videos and criticize some of the video vixens and all in SOME of 'em don't mean shit. There's a reason why movie critics get paid to watch Box office hits. |
chidyhels: Dance is an act, it will never define who you are.Yea, It won't define who you are. But don't be naïve, it takes a certain kind of person to pull off some "dance" routines (if we can still call 'em dance). And I don't live by all that inner difference bullcrap, there's a reason why you are addressed the way you are dressed. |
adab86: The person who owns †ђξ video dressed descently and the girl who is invited only to dance for few minutes will come dangling her bosom before the camera. I kept wandering abt dis stupid actThey don't call it a Man's world for no reason hombre. The girls have been objectified and they are only seen as objects to decorate the video with, nothing more. Feminists can shout till their voice boxes explode, but that won't change the views of people about video vixens, especially the ones that have starred in a couple of tasteless videos. |

Flew to Chennai, India with a thick overall thinking everywhere "abroad" is cold...came out from the airport and felt like I was stuffed in an oven. I saw 'tambhis' sleeping on the floor everywhere thinking they were goats only to see one turn and yawn at me, I almost turned back into the airport to ask the pilot about where he dropped me. Lodged in the Millenium hotel, Dubai...got into my room and saw the TV, Air Conditioner and lights all switched off. Didn't know that there was an electronic slot in the wall that I had to insert my room card so as to put them on automatically. The temperature outside was over 50 degrees celsius. Was too embarrassed to go down almost 30 floors via lift to ask for help for fear of being labelled a plank. Had to weather the storm for hours on end till a friend came to bail me out. In School in Glasgow, went to the Co-operative store to buy stuff, paid and was asked if I needed a 'cash-back' about 10 times on a loop, didn't know what to say, told 'em I would come back for it...hehe. In London, a few hours after the Tories' protest had ended at the Wembley stadium in February/March 2011, it was time to go home, but I got lost in the maze of the London Underground, and also forgot the name of the station I was supposed to exit from. Started trekking to nowhere. After about 4 hours of moving by Bakerloo, Paddington trains, found myself back in Wembley Central, less than a kilometre from Wembley Stadium AGAIN. Hellish. *Frankly, there are so many hilarious, stupid examples to describe but I'd stick to just those to keep things short and sweet* |
Toks2008: OH MT GOD! Are you for real?Men are 'Dogs' innit? You, your male siblings and your Dad could be a group of German Shepherds for all I care, but don't paint everyone with the same bloody brush sucker. |
Never really believed the hype about 'Bleaching' being a Nigerian trend until sometime in September this year when I was watching the news on CNN and I heard a bulletin describing the 'hotspots' that the Bleaching cream manufacturers had discovered for their products and 'Nigeria' was the first name out of just 3 names. I mean, even the manufacturers know that their stuff is booming in the Nigerian market. That was a rude shock man. Its a free world anyway, but for everything one would indulge in, there's always a side effect. If you bleach and you know what it entails, good...But spare us the gory details of the repercussion on NL when it happens tho'. |
Damn! That man deserves a stage performance from a firing squad. But 7 pm at night to 10 am in the morning tho' (15 hours...WTF). That sounds like a bit of exaggeration has been stirred into the equation. |
The Optimist in me says this could be a major step going forward in the fight against terrorism in Nigeria. Take note Boko Haram. The pessimist in me though says this is just another of a thousand avenues for someone to siphon the hard-earned money of the average Nigerian taxpayer. The realist however says It might be involve a bit of both my optimistic and pessimistic views. Won't be surprised if the US government has something to do with the drones tho'. We've seen such before. Anyway, when will they be recruiting the human controllers? I know the US drones are being controlled by controllers akin to the X-Box's, and I'm pretty good with 'em (with about 14 years' experience to boot) and some other Dualshock products hehehe. ![]() |
Misleading title tho'. How does making one's child 'Polished and Well-Enlightened' translate to 'Ajebutter'. Does it mean to say that only the rich and spoilt are 'Polished and Well Enlightened'? Well, most of those I've seen that are 'Polished and Well Enlightened' can't be classified as rich. I doubt whoever moderated that is 'Well Enlightened' himself/herself. |
Arcsniper: Op can u summarize it? Summary pls? Were you forced to read it? ![]() |
And women complain that they are being objectified as sex 'objects'? Funnily, the male artiste would dress up to the hilt from head to toe, the woman tho' will try her best to look naked. Lends further credence to the saying that: Its a man's world. |
I actually misunderstood this to be something like; 'WAEC Students' discussion thread'. ![]() |
Have they sorted out the internal sponsors first? What makes them think that even after prosecuting the 'External' sponsors, the internal ones won't keep sabotaging their progress in the fight against BH...that's if there's been any since 2009. If there are no internal saboteurs, there will be no external one. If there has ever been a situation where there are only external sponsors with no internal influence, BH wouldn't be anywhere as effective as it has been. Now I get the Irony and sarcasm in depicting Common sense as 'Common'. If these folks want to appear busy, let them just stay in BH-infested areas and keep churning out PR nuggets about how they've killed people who are probably still alive. |
Tinubu: Oga I am not a poor man.. I am not stinking rich, but I can hold my own.. Baby care isnt the issue here.. daddy responsibility is...So you opened up this thread to let others tell you what exactly? Baby names? How to take care of a Baby? Seems you're here to congratulate yourself instead...and that's if your 'tales by moonlight' are actually true. A jobless student expecting 2 kids from different sources would have too much stuff on his plate that won't afford him time to come and brag about it on Nairaland. ![]() |
On the government's scale of preference, is this supposed to be one of the most important issues to tackle? What happened to the freedom of information? What happened to suing for defamation of character, propagating false information et al if the criticism really hit home? This is the sort of leadership one gets when the government is not people or masses-oriented. |

Damn! So what happens if the car gets faulty or...worse...stolen?! Maybe he'd sell the other testicle to buy a tracker and a month's worth of fuel. ![]() |
No one knows exactly what transpired between both of 'em whilst he was in the car, but women are generally famed for how drawn out, rather elaborate and tiresome their convos can be hence the arrival of a lot of people at the conclusion that she must have nagged him to his death. That said, May his soul rest in perfect peace and may God strengthen and keep the woman from blaming herself for her husband's death for the rest of her life. There's no use wishing things had been different if you've got no chance in hell of changing the past. However, if you've got a wife who's not one of those women who can nag a man into a psychiatric ward whilst hiding under the pretext of 'A man should always do the right thing'...you've got to thank your stars for giving you a favorable alignment. Such women are very very hard to find. The Bible even contains phrases like 'Its better to live on a roof than to live with a nagging wife'. Heck, I'd rather stay unmarried than share a roof with a nagging one. Life has enough hazards around to shorten a man's life to within half of its supposed length. Why shorten it further for a woman? |
