Politics › Re: The Dollar Has Been Weaponized And Would Be Used To Kill Us All by Konquest:
sukkot:
So never ever in the history of this planet has two economic systems existed side by side and one no wan gree for the other. We have deflation existing right alongside inflation and dem no wan hug and coalesce as one. Dem no wan gree for each other so they exist side by side in this bizzare quagmire cocktail

So basically what we have here is the dollar acting like a vacuum vortex that is introduced into the system by the cabal to suck out every Naira out of the system and into the coffers of the cabal. The dollar is introduced at an inflated figure to the top dogs who move heavy weights and are willing to pay these rates and these top dogs then either import made products or raw materials for their factories and the end product is a commodity with hugely inflated prices and so these hugely inflated prices suck out the nairas out of the populace. And so in this setup they have with each other, the dollar cabal and the government, they have devised a way to vacuum out all the nairas on the streets using the dollar as the tool. The dollar is the vacuum vortex that sucks it all down. Combine that with the other vacuum vortex called petrol subsidy removal and every Naira on the streets is being vacuumed back to the cabal. So there is no money on the streets. There are goods but there is no money because all the money has been sucked out of the system. This is called DEFLATION as they should reduce the prices of goods because there is no money to buy them. However it is impossible to reduce the price of the goods because the effect of the dollar cabal selling it to the top business guys who bring in or manufacture the goods means these goods have no choice but to be expensive. So here we have DEFLATION sitting side by side with INFLATION ( inflated prices ) in this weird quagmire cocktail mixture and none of them wan gree for each other so they exist side by side. Very expensive goods and no money to buy it. And that’s how it is going to remain because the cabal no go gree for you even if you beg. You see , the cabal have received instructions from the global elites that you have to curb population growth in your country and these policies are how you are going to achieve it. So the cabal have received their instructions and they no go gree for you. Depopulation.

So what’s the solution ? How do we fight back. Well I have a 3 prong attack that would not only neutralize the cabal but it would also bring prosperity and can reduce the power of the dollar to like 100 to 1.
1-all our soldiers in the diaspora, and yes you are soldiers now because this is a war, we need your remittances to reach 30 billion this year so there is dollars on the streets. If you have fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, friends etc send them dollars . Let dollars circulate in the country so that the cabal does not have monopoly power on dollar acquisition. Diaspora soldiers like ednut1, angelicbeing armyofone take note . Send your babymamas in naija dollars lol
2-stop wasting your time doing useless courses. Think remote work or any skill that will bring in remote dollars. If you are an artist, draw and find white people to pay for it, they love African art, if you are a trader try to sell African artifacts to whites, they love it and would pay dollars, if your mind carry coding go for it and look for remote work. Look for activities that would fetch you dollars
3-buy made in Nigeria. I want to see you in your Ankara and okrika shoe driving innoson 👀
Put all 3 action points in plan and the cabal will be neutralized and prosperity go Dey everywhere yafun yafun and dollar would come down to 200
Very succinctly stated.

The speculative activities of middlemen and black marketers in the currency markets and food space amounts to a huge sabotage which NO decent country worldwide would accept.

Another major challenge with Nigeria is that Diaspora remittances (which estimates show amounts to 20 billion USD as of 2023) have been disrupted by money transfer apps, and cryptos (such as USDT and Binance).

Now, out of this 20 billion USD remittances, only less than 10 percent (or $2 billion USD) gets to Nigeria and finds it's way to the illegal parallel or black markets. Most Nigerian Diaspora surveyed actually have stopped sending money to their beneficiaries in Nigeria via Western Union and MoneyGram. instead Diasporans use money transfer apps to pay the sender or agent in hard currencies. The money agent then converts the money into Naira by paying into the bank account of the Diasporan or the beneficiary's bank. All these happen within 5 minutes on a mobile phone.

UPDATE: I just read on NL that there are plans to move against the crypto and binance by the CBN because of the wild price moves and manipulation of the bid and ask prices which is what the parallel market or illegal black market uses as rates for distorting the overall currency markets.

We have a special bread here in Nigeria called Agege bread. It can be eaten with a variety of other foods like Akara, Beans, Ewa Agoyin, Nigerian stew, etc.

It can also be taken with any beverage or even water. It's also a stand alone filling meal.
This video gives a step by step with measurements on how to make the easiest Nigerian Agege bread ever.

Ingredients:
Flour
Bread improver
Nutmeg powder

hehe bro am just experimenting. That chicken and waffles is trash. Am back to amala and ewedu 🤣🤣 it’s only right as a son of the soil that I indulge in Amala and ewedu 😅 . Trust you are well. It’s being purgatory here in naija for the past week bro. Madness . Hot, no light, Naira crashing, food expensive like gold , gas as expensive as diamond. Just madness bro . But God pass dem 😀
I'm doing great Sukkot. Thanks for asking.

Yes! Amala, ewedu plus gbegiri (abula) (or ikokore as an Ijebu Prince that you are) repping on the street level. grin

Back in the day before the 1970s to 1981 oil boom era, folks in Naija didn't gravitate much towards corned beef, sausages, cornflakes, Quaker Oats, and other Western foods brought to Africa. They satisfactorily ate majorly local meals such as ogi, moinmoin, akara, ewa agoyin, eba, iyan and egusi, Ofada rice and ayamase green pepper stew and more produced from ingredients, spices and crops got from their farms and gardens.

Indeed, the news out of Nigeria is horrendous with Nigeria gradually going the way of Venezuela or Zimbabwe under Robert Mugabe.
The speculative activities of middlemen and illegal black marketers in the currency markets and the foodstuff space amounts to a huge sabotage which NO decent country worldwide would ever accept. It's a national security risk tbh.

Why can't you say Hausa. What is Aboki ?
The Aboki that feed You guys with their farm product
Let me chip this into your convo.

Aboki is NOT an ethnic slur or a derogatory word meant to belittle Hausas. Aboki simply means FRIEND in Hausa language. You can also say "Aboki na" meaning "MY FRIEND."

Hope that helps.

Haven't you heard of Obalende Suya in London and asun delicacy business among the Yorubas? If that can be done by Yorubas, then there's NO limitations to what a Calabar or Cross Rivers man or Akwa Ibom man can do in terms of roasted meat barbeque. There's barbequed canine meat, barbequed cow meat, barbequed goat meat, and perhaps barbequed snake meat for them to grill and make double profits.

Alright Iremide,

Arbitrage in any business is when you buy low and sell high. It could be in the currency markets, commodities markets, auctions, etc.
Just think of any business globally where you can buy low and sell at a reasonable higher margin.

I've given you enough keywords here. So, you can do more research online.

I think both. From my understanding the Taroh have their h sounding like a k.

I am not Tarok but I have seen it spelt both ways. Their h is a k sound.
Thanks for reaffirming my thinking which is in sync with yours. I have mostly seen the spelling as "Tarok" in many advanced books I've read on Nigerian history since the 1980s. The "Tarok" spelling could definitely be the Anglicization of the "Taroh."

The British Colonialist administrators or missionaries had a penchant for Anglicizing African names such as Sakwato to "Sokoto," Eba Odan to "Ibadan," Owere to "Owerri," etc.

Thanks again for the insights.

Aside suspicions of economic sabotage, officials also speak of national security concerns as the platforms are often patronised by other criminal groups including for payment of ransom.

Law enforcement sources say the digital asset platforms are also routinely deployed for manipulation of forex values through fake deals that serve to prop up values or cause a fall.

A source at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) involved in probing criminal complaint against digital asset platforms, who was however not authorised to speak to the press, described the process as a “sophisticated heist against the Nigerian economy”.

According to her, by allowing simultaneous opening of buy and sell windows for a single user, manipulators often fake interest to sell dollars which they then buy at a speculated rate to themselves through the buy window.

“This therefore gives the dollar a fake value against the naira which then sets a frenzy and mislead the market. This fake price is then often quoted by BDCs who raise their prices to meet the Binance benchmark even without any corresponding demand in that segment," she said.

A senior executive at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) described as “troubling” the bearish downward trade of the naira against the dollar in the last 10 days, attributing it to artificial devaluation caused by the speculative sites.

“Through manipulative rent seeking, Binance’s global reach results in higher USD to NGN exchange rates often being used as a benchmark for currency trading, misleadingly devaluing the Naira in global markets.”

It is well... Ndị Igbo are suffering in the west.
You're NOT well informed... I'll explain.

There are many Yoruba and Edo computer dealers and computer engineers in the Ikeja Computer Village in addition to Ibos. As of the late 1990s, the Yorubas were the ones who started what is called Computer Village today selling computer items before others joined them. The location was indeed a full residential area with Fela Anikulapo-Kuti's shrine just nearby. (These are the facts that some of the younger generation who were born from the late 1980s or the 1990s don't know about because they were babies or little kids then).

In addition, the BIGGEST dealer of computers and accessories is a Yoruba multimillionaire called Mike Akinwale. The point is that Ibos are NOT the only ones in the Computer Village like you guys just blindly believe. Other folks are there quietly making money and they have their registered association as well.

The relocation will affect everyone regardless of ethnicity and that would be awesome for the benefit of all... That'll free up that area of the current Computer Village for gentrification with newer residential houses popping up and there'll be more security. The new Computer Village which has been planned for years would also ensure a bigger venue for computer dealers, computer engineers, and phone dealers as well.

Please re-edit your post.

Godwin Emefiele comes from Agbor just like Jim Ovia, and that town identifies as Ika ethnicity. They have Edoid ethnic ancestries and influences but being close to Iboid communities in Delta North of Delta State, they have Iboid acculturations or influences as well.

Let me emphasize here that Delta North (or Anioma folks) migrated from multiple ethnicities over the last 700 years from Edo (Benin and Esan-Edos), Igala, Yoruba (Olukumis of Ugbodu and Eko Efun otherwise called Ukwunzu), Nri from Anambra, etc.

So, members of every town and clan in Anioma know their ancestral history of migration. The Igalas for instance have roots in what is called Igala-associated communities of Ebu, Asaba, Okpanam, Illah in Oshimili area of Delta State. Some towns also have mixed or multiple ethnic migrations from Edo, Igala, Nri, in places such as Asaba.

Even the Dein of Agbor instructed his people to STOP giving Ibo names to their children a few years ago and the story can still be read here on NL.

This is why it is good to read far and wide about multiple cultures around the world.

🇵🇱 Polish Farmers beg “Putin, put things in order in Ukraine, in Brussels and in our government!”

Polish reporters observed what they described as significant developments during recent protests held by local farmers.

The focus of their attention wasn’t solely on the farmers’ demands to prohibit the “overland grain deal,”which involves the disposal of Ukrainian grain on roadways and railway tracks.

Rather, it was the slogans displayed on the agricultural equipment of the demonstrators that garnered notice.

Among the observations made by reporters from the newspaper Voter, one tractor prominently displayed the flag of the late, and generally unlamented, Soviet Union.

Additionally, a poster affixed to the tractor bore a message directed to Russian President Vladimir Putin, urging him to intervene in Ukraine and Brussels to restore order.

The inscription on the poster read: “Putin, put things in order in Ukraine, in Brussels, and in our government.”

Media accounts have characterised this as an “isolated case,” emphasising that the majority of protesters do not align with such sentiments.

Some Polish citizens have expressed concerns in online discussions, labeling calls to the Russian President amidst the farmers’ strike as provocative.

It is pertinent to note that the protest activity has led to disruptions in freight traffic between Ukraine and Poland.

Allegations have emerged from Ukrainian volunteers, who claim that Polish farmers are obstructing the import of military equipment into Ukrainian territory.

Tractors and associated equipment have reportedly remained stationary at the border for multiple days, contributing to the logistical challenges arising from the protest.
The isolated rage.

BlackBaron:
£13tn: hoard hidden from taxman by global elite

A global super-rich elite has exploited gaps in cross-border tax rules to hide an extraordinary £13 trillion ($21tn) of wealth offshore – as much as the American and Japanese GDPs put together – according to research commissioned by the campaign group Tax Justice Network.

James Henry, former chief economist at consultancy McKinsey and an expert on tax havens, has compiled the most detailed estimates yet of the size of the offshore economy in a new report, The Price of Offshore Revisited, released exclusively to the Observer.

He shows that at least £13tn – perhaps up to £20tn – has leaked out of scores of countries into secretive jurisdictions such as Switzerland and the Cayman Islands with the help of private banks, which vie to attract the assets of so-called high net-worth individuals. Their wealth is, as Henry puts it, "protected by a highly paid, industrious bevy of professional enablers in the private banking, legal, accounting and investment industries taking advantage of the increasingly borderless, frictionless global economy". According to Henry's research, the top 10 private banks, which include UBS and Credit Suisse in Switzerland, as well as the US investment bank Goldman Sachs, managed more than £4tn in 2010, a sharp rise from £1.5tn five years earlier.

The detailed analysis in the report, compiled using data from a range of sources, including the Bank of International Settlements and the International Monetary Fund, suggests that for many developing countries the cumulative value of the capital that has flowed out of their economies since the 1970s would be more than enough to pay off their debts to the rest of the world.

Oil-rich states with an internationally mobile elite have been especially prone to watching their wealth disappear into offshore bank accounts instead of being invested at home, the research suggests. Once the returns on investing the hidden assets is included, almost £500bn has left Russia since the early 1990s when its economy was opened up. Saudi Arabia has seen £197bn flood out since the mid-1970s, and Nigeria £196bn. shocked shocked
