Here is Olawuyi's take on Joshua about 22 years ago. Since when has Olawuyi passed to glory?

You can't watch Joshua's videos in those days and not see him for who he is.

Well...people like you show how humans can be manipulated. Lol. You need to be rehabilitated. grin

Keep asking questions that have been answered already. I wish you the best...it is your choice to have someone else manipulate you. Keep living in your denial cos you choose to allow another man like you to manipulate you. You freely allow him to rule over you.

A lot of the footage in that video was scripted. BBC must have paid some of the people featured there. You would be surprised what people do for money.

BBC is an official propaganda machine. Even Paul Kagame has said it more than once. They know how to put pieces together to make a highly compelling story. Listen to all the background music and all...everything was done so professionally and to the script.
Never trust nobody.

All those ladies featured in the BBC documentary must be subjected to independent lie detector tests by the best polygraphic examination experts around and the young lady who is alleged to be TBJ's daughter must be subjected to an independent DNA test.

How come TBJ never introduced the girl to his three publicly known biological daughters and his legal wife despite the fact that the alleged daughter was living within the premises of his church? Too many loopholes in the saga.

I don't fully trust TBJ and the BBC tbh... But there are loopholes in the revelations.

With emphasis... Never trust nobody.
Nairaland General › Re: Crocodile Makes Herself Pregnant In First Case Of Reptile 'Virgin Birth' by Konquest: 11:27pm On Jan 11, 2024
amoreobansu:
A crocodile has made herself pregnant in what is the first recorded example of a “virgin birth” in the species.

The reptile was kept in captivity in a zoo in Costa Rica and had no contact with any male crocodiles, but a fully formed foetus was found inside one of her eggs.

The developing reptile was 99.9 per cent genetically identical to its mother, which proves it had no father.

Scientists said the capability could have been inherited from dinosaurs, which may also have been able to reproduce by themselves and are close relatives of crocodiles.

There are documented examples of virgin births, or parthenogenesis, in snakes, lizards and fish. But this is the first proven example of it in crocodiles.

The crocodile laid several eggs in 2018, when she was 18 years old. Seven were incubated but after none hatched for three months they were opened, revealing the stillborn foetus in one of the eggs.

Virginia Tech researchers, who analysed the foetus, said their findings suggested crocodiles could be having virgin births without anyone realising.

Because parthenogenesis can occur even when potential mates are present, other examples of virgin births may have been missed in the past, they said.

“It is not uncommon for captive reptiles to lay clutches of eggs, given the period of isolation from mates, these would normally be considered non-viable and discarded. These findings therefore suggest that eggs should be assessed for potential viability when males are absent,” the scientists said in their paper published in the Royal Society journal Biology Letters.

“This new evidence offers tantalising insights into the possible reproductive capabilities of extinct relatives of crocodiles,” they added, “notably the dinosaurs”.

One theory for why parthenogenesis happens is when numbers of a species plummet and they are on the verge of extinction.

Scientists Discover Genetic Secret of Virgin Birth
By UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE AUGUST 8, 2023

While the concept of virgin birth has been historically linked to religious narratives like the birth of Jesus Christ to the Virgin Mary, researchers have now discovered a genetic trigger for virgin births in fruit flies. Once activated, this ability can be passed down to subsequent female generations. When devoid of males, these flies opt for virgin birth, a survival tactic ensuring the species’ continuation.

For the first time, scientists have identified a genetic cause of virgin birth, and once activated, this ability is inherited by subsequent generations of females.
Scientists have managed to induce virgin birth in an animal that usually reproduces sexually: the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster.

Once induced in this fruit fly, this ability is passed on through the generations: the offspring can reproduce either sexually if there are males around, or by virgin birth if there aren’t.

For most animals, reproduction is sexual – it involves a female’s egg being fertilized by a male’s sperm. Virgin birth, or ‘parthenogenesis’, is the process by which an egg develops into an embryo without fertilization by sperm – a male is not needed.

The offspring of a virgin birth are not exact clones of their mother but are genetically very similar, and are always female.

"We are the first to show that you can engineer virgin births to happen in an animal – it was very exciting to see a virgin fly produce an embryo able to develop to adulthood, and then repeat the process,” said Dr Alexis Sperling, a researcher at the University of Cambridge and first author of the paper.

She added: “In our genetically manipulated flies, the females waited to find a male for half their lives – about 40 days – but then gave up and proceeded to have a virgin birth.”

In the experiments, only 1-2% of the second generation of female flies with the ability for virgin birth produced offspring, and this occurred only when there were no male flies around. When males were available, the females mated and reproduced in the normal way.

Switching to a virgin birth can be a survival strategy: a one-off generation of virgin births can help to keep the species going.

The study was recently published in the journal Current Biology.

To achieve their results, researchers first sequenced the genomes of two strains of another species of fruit fly, called Drosophila mercatorum. One strain needs males to reproduce, the other reproduces only through virgin birth. They identified the genes that were switched on, or switched off, when the flies were reproducing without fathers.

With the candidate genes for virgin birth ability identified in Drosophila mercatorum, the researchers altered what they thought were the corresponding genes in the model fruit fly, Drosophila melanogaster. It worked: Drosophila melanogaster suddenly acquired the ability for virgin birth.

Scientists have recorded the first known case of a “virgin birth” in a female crocodile that had no contact with males for about 16 years. The reptile was able to produce a fully formed foetus that was 99.9% genetically identical to her.

The researchers said this discovery, reported in the journal Biology Letters, provides “tantalizing insights”, suggesting its evolutionary ancestors such as the dinosaurs may also have been capable of self-reproduction. Also known as facultative parthenogenesis, virgin birth has been documented in species of birds, fish, lizards, and snakes, but never before in crocodiles. It is the process by which an egg develops into an embryo without fertilization by sperm.

The American crocodile (Crocodylus acutus) was taken into captivity in 2002 when she was two years old and placed in an enclosure in Costa Rica. She remained there alone for the next 16 years.
In January 2018, zookeepers discovered a clutch of 14 eggs in the enclosure. These eggs did not hatch but one contained a fully formed foetus.
Genetic analysis of the tissues from the foetus’s heart and from the mother’s shed skin revealed a 99.9% match – confirming the offspring had no father.
Facultative parthenogenesis is rare but is thought to occur when a species faces challenging or unfavourable conditions, such as environmental stress or lack of mates.

Charbriq2022:
DISADVANTAGES OF BIOCHAR

Although there are many advantages of biochar application in soil, there are some disadvantages as well.

Limit Activity of Worms in Soil: Due to the application of biochar in soil, the activity of worms reduces which is essential for soil productivity.
Affect Crop Yield: Biochar does increase agricultural production but it absorbs nutrients causing deficiency of nutrients available to growing plants.
Soil Compaction: The frequent application of biochar causes soil compaction which in return decreases crop yield.
Lowers Efficiency of Pesticide: Biochar also affects the application of pesticides hence reducing the efficiency of pesticides in soil.
Soil Degradation: The application of biochar could lead to soil degradation making soil vulnerable to harsh climates.
CONCLUSION

Biochar is a product that is produced from biomass through a pyrolysis process. It has numerous uses that improve the soil structure and trigger agriculture production. The characteristics of biochar make it a favorable option to be used during dry weather conditions. Biochar provides moisture to the soil and it could be considered a solution to soil infertility due to climate change.

Biochar: A High Performance Organic Fertilizer Created From Biomasscalled pyrolysis. In this thermochemical process, the biomass is converted into biochar in the absence of oxygen. The final product has sufficient carbon content that improves soil health. Read: Soil Erosion and Degradation – Causes, Effects, and Solutions

TYPES OF BIOCHAR

Types of biochar depend on material biomass from which biochar is produced. Primarily, biomass is used for biochar production, it includes different varieties of feedstocks such as urban green waste, animal manure, paper items, rice husks, agriculture waste, etc.

Check out What is Agroecology? Importance and Impact on Environment

USES OF BIOCHAR

Biochar has multiple uses in soil and could help in tackling the problem of soil infertility due to climate change.

Enhances Soil Nutrients: Biochar is a natural fertilizer that enhances soil nutrients and prevents them from leaching.
Promotes Soil Health: Biochar is used to promote soil health by retaining soluble nutrients in the soil.
Remediation of Soil: Biochar is often used for the remediation of soil suffering from heavy metal pollution.
Increases Activity of Soil Biota: During unfavorable weather conditions, biochar retains water due to its porous nature and provides nutrients to microbial communities living in the soil.
ADVANTAGES OF BIOCHAR

Biochar has many advantages due to its properties. Because it is a natural product that has fewer negative impacts on the environment.Less Emission of Greenhouse Gases in the Air: Biochar is a stable product that could stay in the soil for many years, ultimately reducing the emission of greenhouse gases from the burning of biomass.
Water Retention: Biochar has moderate porosity that increases the water retention of soil. In this way, it assists soil in growing plants and vegetables.
Carbon Sequestration: The conversion of biomass into biochar does emit carbon in the air but it is less as compared to the combustion of biomass. Hence biochar represents carbon sink in soil.
Agricultural Productivity: The application of biochar in the soil increases agricultural productivity and promotes agricultural resilience.
Reduction in Soil Acidity: One of the main advantages of biochar is it helps in decreasing soil acidity which hinders crop production.

Yes, you can plant and harvest yam by yourself

Yes, you don't need land for farming yam if you don't have. You can make use of sacks

Yes, yam can grow and does well even in that little space of yours.

Yam, one of the most profitable crops to grow in 2024, has always been a lucrative venture and has also required a very large scale of production to be very profitable. This involves the use of a large expanse of land for production, which is not always readily available especially if you are in urban areas where the cost of getting farmland is very expensive.

YAM SACK FARMING has brought a whole new possibility and perspective for yam farmers.

However, several technicalities to yam farming would ensure that good yield is guaranteed in the sack farming business. These practical technicalities must be learned from the professional and practicing farmers who have been on the field and have done it themselves.

This training course would ensure that you have all such information available to you for a successful YAM SACK FARMING business, either on a commercial scale or on a small scale

This training shall commence on the 9th of February - the 10th of March 2024.

We can promise you this: at least, you won't be buying yam again after this training 💯💯

Nice one!

It's SAC not SACK

Why not use a bigger sac for planting yam. If you notice, the yam tubers you have so far are small in size, this is because the sac you used limits its growth. The auxins in plants detects if there space and encourage more growth of the yam. Also, I noticed you used sac for the Oil Palm, this too won't allow the palm to grow. I don't think sac is recommended for plant like Oil Palm that have secondary growth.

Sack farming is fun and less stressful, without requiring too much space or capital....

It allows people to grow crops in their backyards, and other places. With sack farming, crops can be grown anywhere. Sack farming encourages people to grow crops in small areas.

For me sack farming started like an adventure and out of curiosity from a YouTube video I watched last year, I decided to take up the challenge, since I basically work remotely

Setting up was the hardest part..

*Each Sack cost #50 naira,

*Filling of sack with quality sand cost 200 per sack (you can contract bricklayers and labourers)

* I got seedlings for free

* I got fertilizer for free

*Herbicide cost 6k ( but I used it majorly for a different purpose)

Nature took it over everything and I hardly wet the crops through out the rainy season.
Impressive.
Where and how did you get your seedlings?

Thanks.

By popular demand, I practicalised the planting and growing of yams in sacks in this video. Many people think they need a large plot or expanse of land to plant yam.

Sack farming is here and is now the new trend for commercial and subsistent growing of yam. Get some sacks and get some soil into the sack. You can get sacks from old cement bags, old garri, semo, rice, and bean bags.
Fill the sack with soil and arrange as many as you desire in rows.

Get your yam seeds and plant them towards the very top of your bags. The yam will grow downwards as the leaves grow upwards. Ensure you have sticks or ropes that the yam leaves can twine on.

You watch and keep ensuring it twines well and you will have your mature yam in 3 months' time.
