Between January 2019 and June 2020, bank accounts used by Lawal and his co-conspirators to launder money on behalf of the criminal organization received millions of dollars traced directly to individuals and businesses defrauded over the internet by members of the criminal organization.

Accounts Lawal controlled received over $3.6 million in deposits between January 2019 and May 2020. Those deposits were spread across seven different bank accounts Lawal opened in his own name or the name of his business entity, Luxe Logistics LLC. Ultimately, Lawal controlled bank accounts at no less than five different financial institutions in furtherance of his money laundering.

My take on this issue:

Just $3.6 million in total was deposited in this dude's 7 bank accounts from January 2019 to May 2020 after scamming elderly folks.

It must be emphasized here that the Russian and other East European hackers carry out far more sophisticated and deadlier frauds running into millions of USD than the low-budget email scams that these guys (The Nigerian and his American accomplices) are accused of.

Tb Joshua never had any daughter out of wedlock.. he only got married to one wife and gave birth to 3 beautiful daughters.

I've only known about TBJ in the media... Never met him before.

For years now, I've also known that TBJ has 3 biological daughters, and I believe if he had another biological daughter from out of wedlock, he would have proudly let the whole world know about her and sponsored her to the best schools on earth. Culturally, among the Yoruba folks of which TBJ is one, it's just inconceivable that a child of a prominent person would be treated like an outcast because children (including twins) are revered traditionally and culturally from time immemorial according to all the history books I have read over the decades. This is why "Omo" [or dialectically called "Oma" meaning "Child" in the English language] features prominently as prefixes in Yoruba names... Omolewa, Omolara, Omowumi/Omawumi, Omosola/Omasola, etc.

If DNA and lie detector tests are conducted on this young lady who claims to be his daughter and it's eventually proven that the so-called daughter is an imposter, the BBC must be sued for millions of USD and made to pay dearly to serve as a lesson to others for publishing unverified news just like a lot of irresponsible bloggers do to gain online traffic to their crappy blogs.

After 2 years, he had to ask himself hard questions, that his widowed mother used to go to Oron to buy crayfish to resell in Onitsha and that business saw him and his 5 siblings through university.....he re-strategized and went to work for a Pakistani who owned an African shop for about 6 months, learning the ropes and how he gets supplies from West African countries at the cheapest rate.

There are so many money spinners many look down as "work for those whey no go school".

Indeed, this is an insightful thread. I first read a few decades back that Asian immigrants have been the major suppliers of African food items to the African Diaspora communities in France and elsewhere. It's now that more folks of African descent have been moving into that sector even though right from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, some business-savvy Nigerians were involved in exporting in-demand African/Nigerian fresh food items to be sold at the food markets in London.

Narration: The Egba, a Yoruba group, currently resides in the central regions of Ogun State in southwestern Nigeria. In 1830, they sought refuge and settled in Abeokuta, maintaining formal independence from British rule until 1914.

The Egba are organized into the provinces of Ake, Gbagura, Oke-Ona, and Owu, each led by an oba (king) known as Alake, Agura, Osile, and Olowu, respectively. Political power before 1914 was decentralized, with governance extending to townships and divided among war chiefs, civil chiefs, hunters, and trade chiefs.

Historically, the Egba has been seen as an example of "aborted modernization" in West Africa. Proximity to Lagos made them significant to British consuls and merchants, attracting early missionary attention.

The Egba's unique institutional development was highlighted in their testimony to the West African Lands Committee in 1913, emphasizing the long-standing custom of outright land sale, a practice more prevalent in Egba territory compared to other Yoruba provinces.

Akwa Ibom has no oil at all. There is no oil producing community in Akwa Ibom and Cross River. All the oil wells being attributed to Akwa Ibom are located in the international waters of Nigeria and if the world standard 3-nautical miles rule are applied, Akwa Ibom cannot claim any oil well. The 200-nautical miles rule in the onshore/offshore dichotomy act is an arbitration that was allowed just for peace to reign. So, stop bragging over what is not there.

In Edo it is produced by Olodiama Ijaw.
The 1.8 percent.
Remove Ijaw and Edo would be removed from Oil producing State

In Delta, 22.1 percent oil production Ijaw is the most economical viable tribe because Itsekiri cannot even full one LGA of their own

Bayelsa 21 percent is fully Ijaw because Bayelsa is Ijaw all through.

Rivers have 23 LGAs as well as 23 percent Crude Oil production.

The 11 Ijaw LGAs produce oil but not all the rest produce oil.

AKWA-IBOM 25 percent is mainly based in ocean area and it is owned by Obolo Ijaws of Obolo and Ibeno.

Even Oron elders came to us to say they are Obolo Ijaws.
Remove Ijaws and AKWA-IBOM becomes landlocked among others.

Cross River little oil is at the border between Ibeno Ijaw and Bakassi.

The 1 percent oil produced by Abia is based at Ndoki-Ibani Ijaw area.

The 2 percent of Imo is produced by Egbema Ijaw areas.

Most Crude oil is offshore and Ijaw with 2,800 villages is in charge of the whole Coasts.

Ijaws were unjustly balkanized into more than six States when all Ijaws are fully together and not even scattered by God.

I watched the video. Sanwo-Olu was on the right of way. The Okada rider was driving against traffic on the other side of the highway and was caught on the service road where one of the governors security truck blocked them. 3 bikes were also seized in the process.

Several Okadas were against traffic. Others ran away, but the soldier was caught.

Actually Reno Omokri is Urhobo on his paternal side. It's Reno's mother that is an Itsekiri. She's from an Itsekiri royal family lineages. Itsekiris though have Yoruba (Ijebu, Ilaje, Ife) and Edoid ancestral origins as you well know.

This is an iconic video clip from 1968.

One of the banners indicates that the Nigerian protesters in London are indigenes of the old Rivers State (now Rivers and Bayelsa States) from different ethnicities based on their dressing. One of the banners contained a message about the massacre of Rivers State indigenes by the rebel secessionists which indeed occured from historical records. The rebel secessionists in 1968 invaved and brutally forcibly deported over 12,000 Bakana/Kalabari people from their homeland (and other communities). They nstill commemorate the deliberate massacre and forcible conscription of their relatives by the rebel secessionists.

It is not Ogiebo, it is OGEGBO and he was never an Oba nor will he be an Oba in Yoruba Land.
Ogegbo is a traditional title in Ibowon an Epe area of Ijebuland and the title is that of the AGEMO worshippers and a very high ranking one at that. So please you should get your fact right and verify properly.
The OGEGBOs have a very potent curse charm that have been used in times past even till now and the office is always very revered.
Please Ijebuland was never ruled by OGIEBO and was never under Benin Kingdom.
