Both of them are “birds of a feather”. Read the media publication. A lot of things don’t sum up. The media publication kept switching from a first person singular to a third person plural, skewed so much to false accomplishments rather than the main issue. If business has gone bad for both of them, they should go their separate ways than getting the public involved in their pettiness of body odor, skin irritation, inability to pay for food, employing over 100 people and starting businesses for them (which I don’t believe), sending employees’ kids to school (which I also don’t believe).

Both should get their lives together.

The Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria yesterday announced they have expelled top Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau, from the Hausa film industry because she featured in a romantic musical video by Jos born singer, ClassiQ and hugged, cuddled the music artist.

Press play to see the video. The association said the feature was immoral and also warned other actors and actresses to henceforth follow the rules binding their participation in the Kannywood film industry.

Meanwhile, a die hard Rahama Sadau fan has started a campaign demanding that MOPPAN takes Rahama Sadau back.

I am sure you already know that Rahama Sadau has been suspended for hugging a man in a music video. I am a poor girl like Rahama from the North who once found her impressive life an inspiration, the way she was able to rise from being an everyday girl from Kaduna to starring in Nollywood pictures made me dream, maybe one day, I too could.

In many ways, I think she's a lot like you - a woman facing the brute reality of trying to make it in a man's world. Unfortunately, Rahama's 'inspiring' days are about to be cut short. I know its a lot to ask, I know you have so many more important things to deal with and I know this might never get to you, but something in me told me I had to at least try.

I have started a petition on change.org,( https://www.change.org/p/motion-picture-practitioners-association-of-nigeria-moppan-bring-back-rahama-sadau?recruiter=605081813&utm_source=share_for_starters&utm_medium=copyLink) demanding that MOPPAN has a rethink on its decision.

MOPPAN is a national body and whether they like it or not, the people in Nollywood hold all the big guns, and there aren't many women with your reach or influence that can or might be willing to make them chip in.

Please share my petition on your site, or perhaps just give your voice to those calling for more fairness in the matter.
The people that did this are being inspired by the same religious puritanism that inspired Boko Haram, please help poor northern girls know that it's not a crime to hug or be hugged, it's not crime to do what men are allowed to do everyday of their lives.

What a waste! Most of these guys were brilliant officers and other rank (who were probably innocent). Babangida wasted more lives than any other person - he didn't even spare his close friend, the poet Mamman Vatsa, believed to have been framed up to get rid of him.


An Igala guy called Ben Ekele, then reputed to be one of the best Mig fighter jet pilots in Africa, was brutally silenced forever by Babangida in one of his phantom coups. What a needless coldhearted waste of lives! Those who oppose the death penalty have a point anyday.

Do you know what happens when a bank account is closed for suspicious activities? The bank obtains court orders to seal the records. The money and all records are frozen. The owner has to approach the bank and prove legitimacy. Atiku has millions of dollars sealed in US. If he doesnt go get it FG will file right of interest and if they can prove legitimately that this money is stolen they will be accorded right of posession and can repatriate the money back home.

Should that happen....Atiku forfeits legal standing to run for office.

All I know is I was literally born and oyibo was being used for anything and everything to do with the white man in the Anambra/Enugu/Delta Igbo axis and I'm only a few years away from 30. I'm sure it didn't magically pop up into existence in 80s/90s. It might just be one of those ejime-ejire-type scenarios. None was directly loaned from the other but we share the word together through Igala while the ultimate etymology's Yoruba. That's fine. You won't see me heavily debating the origin of the word oyi(n)bo on here but I think it's just shared. It's not a 21st century pidgin loan word like some people on here make out.

I know Edos use ebo for white man, yh. I didn't know anywhere in the Eastern flank of Yorubaland use oyibo. I was watching this video of an Akoko Ondo lady speaking something in her conc.-arse dialect and she used oyinbo (and she said that word more than once). And is the Ekiti equivalent not eyinbo?

I'm not from Arochukwu, nah. It's not even me in that profile picture. I could bore you with a lengthy story of my maternal and paternal ancestries but not one of them ties me to that side of Igboland. I'm a full-blooded Anambra nigga. Links to Nsukka and Igala but nowhere in Imo State. And likewise literally no one in Nigeria outside of southern Igboland calls the white man bekee. It's exclusively an Abia/Imo thing. Onye ocha's the central standardised way of calling a white man specifically but people from northern and western Igboland (Enugu through to Asaba) don't know anything other than oyibo. You'll never, ever hear anyone from Ogwashi Ukwu or Awka calling a white man bekee. Never. It's genuinely a foreign word to us.

Oh and it's a myth that bekee derives from William Baike's surname. I can't remember the name of the Tumblr account who posted the evidence but it's actually been proven that that bekee was used in some form or other before Baike was even born so that's that theory out of the window. Either it's a contraction of either bia i ike ["he (the white man) has come to divide" in Igbo] or mbracka (Efik-Ibibio for white man) or it was copied from somewhere. But it's nothing at all to do with William Baike.

Have you ever seen any Bini man, especially from the royal family, ever laying claim to Lagos? They do not engage in such petty controversies. Only attention seekers from Lagos island do that.

And for the record, only parts of Lagos island (or Isale Eko) had anything to do with the Bini. Areas like Ikeja, Surulere, Ilupeju, Gbagada, Maryland, Agege, Ipaja, Badagry, Lekki, Ibeju, Epe, Magodo, Amuwo-Odofin, Orile, Ijanikin, Ogudu, Yaba, Ikorodu etc., had absolutely nothing to do with the Bini.

In terms of the provisions of section 96 (1) of the constitution of Zimbabwe, amendment number 20, 2013. Following my verbal communication with the Speaker of the National Assembly, Advocate Jacob Mudenda at 13:53 hours, 21st November, 2017 intimating my intention to resign as President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, I Robert Gabriel Mugabe in terms of section 96 (1) of the constitution of Zimbabwe hereby formally tender my resignation as the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe with immediate effect.


My decision to resign is voluntary on my part and arises from my concern for the welfare of the people of Zimbabwe and my desire to ensure a smooth, peaceful and non-violent transfer of power that underpins national security, peace and stability.


Kindly give public notice of my resignation as soon as possible as required by section 96 (1) of the constitution of Zimbabwe.

Yes, Ibos are the original owners of Ida in that context. But by extension, both Igala and the Ibos are one and the same people. If not for the present change in language due to time, they spoke one language which I cannot mention now. I am sure it was neither Igbo nor Igala but the language spoken by Eri, their father who migrated from the middle east. The arrival of Abutu-eje to Ida was around the 7th century.
