Exactly!

I've thought of that too. smiley
Nigeria has ISR [Intelligence, Surveillance
and Reconnaissance] Platforms and drones
that can pick enemy movements even
at night from very high altitudes.

But pride and the fear of losing territorial
integrity by the Chadians and especially
Cameroon is what might get in the way.

Nigeria has to work on assuring these
countries that Nigerian Special Forces
and their own troops can work to deliver
a devastating blow to those BH street urchins
and upstarts hiding in their countries
otherwise the battle ain't over yet!

The world has to rise up and deal with the
Al-Qaeda affiliate called Al-Shabab in
Somalia as well because there are linkages
between that notorious gang and also the
Yemen terrorist groups as well with BH.

Some BH recruits have been arrested on
Nigerian soil who only speak French and
cannot even speak any known Nigerian
language.

@ luvinhubby

Indeed, thanks for the info on Kanayo O. Kanayo's early acting cameo appearances in the 1980s in Enugu. You are the FIRST person that I will be revealing some very deep details and short document extracts to about the origins of the Nigerian movie industry in order to SMASH and correct some annoying historical distortions or URBAN LEGENDS!

The irritating terminology called "Nollywood"
was first used in 2002 by Matt Steinglass an American Journalist who did NOT have a deep knowledge about the origins of the Nigerian movie industry.

The Nigerian movie industry has been in existence for decades [the early 1950s] before the first film to be packaged on home video cassetes in Nigeria [Soso Meji] was produced in the Yoruba movie industry in 1988 by Ade Ajiboye!

The movie entitled "Soso Meji" was produced by Mr. Ade Ajiboye and it was also screened at the cinemas
in Lagos.

In 1989, the late Prince Alade Aromire who
died in a car crash in Lagos also produced
"Ekun" on VHS home video. These early home
videos and the cinema screenings in Lagos State were very popular and sold out! There were several VHS home videos and cinema screenings in between 1988 and 1992 in the Yoruba genre of the Nigerian movie industry with Lagos as the entertainment capital.
Prince Jide Kosoko also produced his FIRST EVER Yoruba language home video in 1989 just like Prince Alade Aromire.

In 1992, Kenneth Nnebue did an Ibo film
entitled Living in Bondage part1. It was the first Ibo home video packaged in VHS video cassetes and the part 2 came out in 1993.

Kenneth Nnebue gave CREDIT to the Indian
movie industry and the Yoruba movie industry which is a subset of the Nigerian movie industry for INSPIRING him to be the pioneer producer of the first Ibo language home video.
The film was supposed to have been done
in Yoruba language, and he had taken his script and was in touch with some Yoruba language home video producers but he decided to take the risk by taking the script and did it in Ibo. He said all these in an interview in a 1997 edition of ThisDay Newspapers which is still in my pocession or library collection.

Kenneth Nnebue NEVER at any time claimed that "Living in Bondage" was the beginning of
the Nigerian movie industry. It is some of his Ibo people with the advent of the Internet who didn't know how he started his career by understudying the Yoruba language movie producers of the cinema and home videos from 1988 in Lagos that mangled up the
history of the home video industry online.

Indeed, it's a SHAME that history is not being taken seriously by people in Nigeria, that is why this FALSEHOOD has been circulated by bloggers and on Social Media by those who were NOT born in the 1960s/1970s/1980s when Nigerian-produced movies where shown in Cinemas on celluloid packaging and from
1988 on VHS home video packaging in the
Yoruba movie industry
till the advent of VCDs and more.

In fact his Ibo film was NOT even the FIRST in Nigeria. The first subtitled in English Ibo fiim was entitled "Amadi" in 1975 and it was screened in Lagos. It was subtitled in English and produced by a famous Yoruba filmmaker who was born in Aba by Yoruba parents one of whom was a lawyer. I also have a copy of a 1975 magazine that showed the first military governor of Lagos State, Brigadier General Mobolaji Johnson and Attorney General of Lagos State Justice Adefarasin in attendance
at the premier of "Amadi" at a Cultural Centre
in Lagos State. One of Justice Adefarasin's sons is Mike Adefarasin of "House on the Rock" on Lekki Peninsula.

The American and Indian movie industry
are based on mainly cinemas and NOT home videos. The Indians have long rejected the term "Bollywood" because they see it as an insult from the Western media.

Bollywood is a term created by the Western
media as a caricature of Hollywood. It is like
saying: Nigerian movie is a Hollywood
wannabe or copycat! This is why the Indians feel insulted when Bollywood [Hollywood in
Bombay] is used to describe their movie
industry which dates back to the 1920s.

Hence, the so-called "Nollywood" means [Hollywood in Nigeria] was formed or first used as I said before by an American journalist named Matt Steinglass in the New York Times in the year 2002! The adoption of that term amounts to colonial mentality by some Nigerians and the Nigerian media since Indians and the Indian cinema movies industry which is based on ONLY the Hindi language, have long REJECTED the silly terminology of "Bollywood."

^^^^^^

@Xopoh

I read your post all over again and the
story resonates! I just felt a deep sense of
connection to you and you post. smiley

Just as you indicated in your original post,
it was the GIRL that confessed that she had
sex with someone - perhaps only once.

If she hadn't told your twin brother, he
wouldn't have known. For her to have told
your brother, it shows that she has a heart
of GOLD contrary to the opinion of some
posters on this thread. Don't pay too much
attention to the negative vibes. I've been
on the face of the planet for over four decades
and I know this is the way to go!

Did YOU know that it is because of EMOTIONAL
PAIN that females sometimes mistakenly
stray into the arms of someone else before
realising their mistake? This pain comes
from family, financial, hormonal and/or social issues!

I want your brother - and YOU to forgive her
with every fibre in your veins. Some BAD
ladies would NEVER confess and keep a
straight face! Those kinds of women who
do NOT confess are more dangerous!

I too would have been deeply angry and shattered initially
because it is normal. But there are people who
have had such experiences and still went
ahead to forgive and had a good marriage.

I want to also commend Taiwo your brother for
showing love and an interest in the welfare
of his girl which is a NOBLE thing to do.
It is not stupidity, because every cause has
an effect on this planet. When you give with a pure heart, you
will receive!

He needs to step back a bit from the
relationship to have a higher perspective
on what is going on. He should make some
money and build his own career first. The girl
should also work on her academics and
career by also doing a short course in
catering/baking/events decoration, etc.,
that would bring her some income in
her area of residence.

Also I don't want YOU both to report her to
your family members so that they don't
become very hostile towards her. I believe
if your twin brother stands by her, she will
make a good mother of his kids. Even if he
doesn't get married to her, he would have
gained a higher understanding of life and
get someone else, but the pattern of your
story shows that she will stand by your
brother from now and down the road because
she confessed by herself.

Last but not least, let Taiwo your brother read this
post and sleep on it.

I want you both to read a book such as "Men Are From Mars,
Women Are From Venus." You might be able
to get a free version to download online via the
search engines
and gain useful insights on male and female
interaction and psychology.

Also if you can all go for NLP training or
read about NLP[ Neuro-Linguistic Programming]
it will help you all deal with the issue at hand
and forgive her and also face other major
challenges that will come your way like a piece
of cake.
You can do an NLP training with the popular Lanre Olusola in Lagos, and Innocent Usar
in Jos or Lagos.

All the best to you and your brother. smiley

PS: If a woman commits an
infraction like that more than once, then
she would be history to me. Love is

Politics › Re: Tragic : How Nigeria Gave Up West Africa. by Konquest: 11:45pm On Nov 19, 2017
SSBN:
I came across a 2015 article from the Washington post which states that the United States considers Chad as the preponderant military power in West Africa. While this might not be factually correct one cannot deny the Chadians have some of the most fearsome infantry men in the region. Indeed the performance of Chadian soldiers in recent times is nothing short of commendable.

We’ve seen how, smarting from the humiliating defeated at the hands of the Nigerian army and air force, a handful of Chadian soldiers on Toyota pickup trucks ambushed and destroyed two amoured colums of Libya troops, forceing the retreat of 2,500 Libyan soldiers armed with tanks and amoured vehicles. In November 1986 Qaddafi had ordered a major offensive against Chad. The Chadians routed the Libyan garrison at Fada, killing 784 Libyan soldiers.

In an incident before that the Chadians captured a Libyan controlled airbase, killing a staggering 1,269 Libyans, taking 438 prisoners and destroying a large amount of Soviet built weapons, including Tupolev bombers, MiG -21 fighters, Mi-24 helicopter gunships and hundreds of tanks and amoured vehicles. The Chadians lost only 29 soldiers.

I couldnt help imagining a Nigerian amoured battalion subjected to a similar attack. I realised that Mali became Chads means of showcasing what might happen if Nigeria ever fought an infantry intensive battle against Chad today. In Mali the Nigerian army deployed 800 men and two Mi-24 helicopter gunships.

By contrast Chad deployed 2000 troops and hundreds of amoured vehicles. This well equiped Chadian troops were chosen to fight side by side with the French Foreign Legion,,while the ragtag AK-47 wielding troops from Nigeria were relegated to rear guard duties and manning checkpoints. The Ghanaians deployed a handful of cooks and drivers.

The year 2013 was a bad year for Anglophone West Africa. This was the first time since independence that a Nigerian war-fighting function has been bested by a Central African country right in in our backyard.
Waking up to this revelation came as a rude shock to the Nigerians and was all the more disturbing because the Nigerian army- the pride of West Africa has been the guarantor of peace and security in West Africa for 40 years.

Nigerian soldiers were amongst the most feared. They had the toughest training of any infantry because of its selective process was very stringent. Nigerian artillery made potential adversary in the region tremble, it had the best trained artillery men. The Chadians most feared what they called “steel rain”. This consisted of a mix of BM-21 Grad Multiple Launch Rocket systems, field artillery guns , self propelled howitzers and cluster munitions carried by Nigerian net fighters.

When Chadian troops invaded several islands in the Lake Chad area and villages in Borno, state northeast, Nigeria, the Army General tasked with flushing out the invaders – General Muhammadu Buhari for nearly a week ordered his forces to stand down, allowing the Chadians to to probe deeper into Nigerian territory.

When Chadian troops were 50 miles from Maiduguri Nigerian artillery smothered Idris Derby’s much vaunted ground soldiers in a massive series of night long artillery barrages.

This took Chadian troops by surprise. Expecting Nigerian tanks the Chadians had dug in 15 ft deep trenches to trap tanks and amoured vehicles ( like they did against Libya’s Amoured columns ). Confused and disoriented Chadian troops broke ranks and fled in all directions, some straight into the hands of concealed Nigerian troops who had stealthly crawled into positions, waiting in ambush, many drowned. The lucky ones made a run for the border. The Chadians never made any incursion on Nigerian territory again- Until recently.

Chad’s military involvement in Mali and lately in all neighboring states sheds light on capability of the Chadian army and the Dictator Idris Derby regime’s ambition to be a regional military power. In 2014, reeling from an increase in Boko Haram attacks the Cameroonian dictator Paul Biya gave a passionate plea for help as his army was stretched too thin to deal effectively with the insurgents. Within days hundreds of Chadian troops and amoured vehicles rolled into the streets of Yaounde to the esctatic sheers of Cameroonians.

These developments serves as a deadly analogy for what might happen to the Nigerian army should it find itself in a ground war with Chad or its surrogate Cameroon. Even without French support the Chadian Air Force fleet of strike aircrafts now outranks ours qualitatively. Also the Chadian surface to air missiles now out range ours by more than half.

They have aquired anti tank missiles to negate our advantage in amour. To put things into perspective, the Nigerian army has a total of about 180 tanks. Chad has about 80 MILAN I anti tank missiles, 200 MILAN II anti tank missiles,50 TOW anti tank missiles and an undisclosed number of Stinger anti aircraft missiles. For one Nigerian tank the Chadians have 5 anti tank missiles.

Tragically the qualitative and numerical advantage Nigeria enjoyed over its Central African adversaries are gone, intentionally destroyed by the past three administrations in a sacrifice to the god of political correctness and paranoia over the potential of a potential coup plot.

We agreed to give up all our stockpile of cluster munitions, cancelled planned aquisition programes, and practically locked up our air force in a hanger. When the Niger Delta crises emerged Nigeria spent a quarter of a billion dollars on 15 Chengdu F-7Ni fighters from China “as a stop gap measure” and forgot all about it.

The performance of the Chadian army in Mali West Africa and the Central African Republic, the audacity of the Chadians to carry out unauthorized air and ground operations in Nigerian territory and brag about it, the audacity of Cameroonian BIR troops to illegally cross into Nigerian territory, kill hundreds of Nigerian civilians and burn down whole villages, not once but three times, the unexpected appearance of a Cameroonian navy warship at the Eastern Naval Command in Calabar, strongly demonstrates that over the past 10 years our Francophone have gotten a capability jump on us and are showing it with their boldness.
Their stock of anti-aircraft missiles, anti-tank missiles and fighter jets are far superior than ours. Does this mean that the Chadian and Cameroonian army is superior to ours? No, not in the least, even if combined. If Nigeria fought Chad and Cameroon today, even on multiple fronts we would win.

Ours is an all volunteer force of 180,000 men, 32,000 reservists and 150,000 paramilitary, which is more than the combined armies of all of West Africa plus Cameroon and Chad combined.
Though out fixed winged strike aircraft fleet is pretty much outdated small, the Nigerian Air Force is far more superior when measured in an all inclusive basis (ISR/ISTAR, attack drones, helicopter gunships, logistics). But going by recent developments and Nigeria’s sluggish approach to modernizing its strike assets, the cost in blood and resources of any contest would be high.

The tragic decline of the Nigerian armed forces holistically that was once amongst the most reverse and feared in Africa should serve as a cautionary tale. The diminution of military capability in the Nigerian armed forces comes at an inauspicious time; where advanced military facilities and airbase’s are springing up all around Nigeria and world powers are struggling for control in what was once Nigeria’s domain.

France is setting up an entire new military aalliances in the sahel. The Americans are building Reaper Drone facilities and training centres, the Moroccans, a north African country are vying for membership in ECOWAS.
Our complacency and the lacklustre approach of our corrupt ridden civilian government to fixing our military and build a proactive foreign policy has cost us dearly. We have forfeited what formerly was our diplomatic and military hegemony in West Africa to the Central Africans, North Africans, France and the United States, and we can only imagine what deadly consequences may result from our complacency, decline and refusal to invest in our miitary and lack of clear cohesive foreign policy.

Very insightful post from you!

I think:

The Chadians have not been able to effectively
contain BH members in Chad, thereby giving
them the opportunity to cross easily into
Nigeria. These BH members are Chadians.

Same thing too with the Cameroonian military.

I believe Nigerian military have been able to militarily
deal with BH on Nigerian soil. It is the infiltrations
across the boarders with Chad, Cameroon
and Niger we have to deal with by making
those countries to militarily sit up!

A defiant Robert Mugabe has shocked the nation by refusing to resign in a national broadcast made to Zimbabweans this evening. Mugabe was widely expected to announce his resignation in the address that was broadcast by many local and international stations after his party the ZANU PF which is the ruling party in Zimbabwe removed him as their leader and passed a resolution asking him to resign or face impeachment but a stubborn Mugabe in his address to the nation rejected the call for him to resign and vowed to stay on as president.

The Zimbabwean military intervened last week, in an apparent attempt to block him from installing his wife as his successor.
The first lady, Grace Mugabe, and several other senior officials have been expelled from the party altogether.
Tens of thousands of Zimbabweans attended street protests on Saturday, demonstrating against the Mugabes.

Zimbabweans gathered this evening in expectation of a celebration. Instead, Mugabe appeared to hint at challenging the ruling party, which has expelled him as its leader, by trying to stay on.

Mugabe made a reference to presiding over a party congress next month. “The congress is due in a few weeks from now. I will preside over its processes, which must not be possessed by any acts calculated to undermine it or compromise the outcomes in the eyes of the public.”

Here it is, About 10 months ago, she contacted me about a paypal fund and I told her it's already sold. She asked if it is possible she gets bank deposit, but unfortunately before her payment entered, the fund had been already been sold, then I contacted meetmal and she requested for the her USA account details and I gave her, but she couldn't send it for about 24hours.
Egonne then said when can I get more fund, I told her I can't promise that am going to refund her, I went to bank and process her refund of 2 million naira. She confirmed the said payment, by evening of the day, meatmal sent a receipt that the payment had been made and I called and told her, she paid in the money and promised to send me the balance, but when she discovered it was meatmal that made the payment, she went ahead and made the balance of the payment to meatmal.

After 10 months, she told me there's an issue with the payment and her account had been blocked, she sent some screenshots from a mail. I told meatmal and she said she's going to contact account the depositor, she reverted and told me those people requested for evidence from bank, I told her, but she said she can't present anything and resolved to threats.

Solutions I have presented to her.

1. Get evidence or statement from bank

2. Since it's police that contacted you, it should be an official matter/issue. Please drop the police post details, either police officer in charge at the police office or anything so I can send someone to confirm the official Lodgement of the matter and I present that to meatmal and the said bdc.

3. Today, I told meatmal to request for her login details ( change password and drop the email details to confirm the mail message).

No one is saying she is not going to be refunded, but evidence is needed. That's all.

The Federal Government and the National Boundary Commission have to STEP in to enforce the judgement in favour of the Bini ASAP and also enforce the other court victories in favour of the Itsekiris, Ilaje/Ese-Odo axis and Diobu in Ikwereland, Port Harcourt. More so i was financially inept which resulted in missing some exams, but after 4 years the war was over. With my kind of grade the future was deem for me with no hope. I took some computer programming courses to add to my CV i thought it would be of help. Alas four years on no single interview, i was roaming the streets without hope

God finally answered my call and i travel to the united states for greener pastures, i enrolled for a six months IT course and after completion i received my first phone interview from one of the telecom company and later on skype interview. after three days i was called for a one on one interview at their corporate office. It was straight forward with three interviewers, they asked about my skills and what i could do , which i told them with great confidence. A system was brought in and i was asked to configure bla bla bla which i did. To my amazement none asked a question pertaining my degree what they where hammering on was on the job.

After completion i was given the job instantly to resume the following Monday with a well furnished office and a very good pay. Right Now i am the manager of my team of which i developed a standard software for the company that remains number one.

My point is why is Nigeria hell bent on class of degree rather what the individual has to offer. There are lots of talented 3rd class and pass job seekers out there if given a chance will perform far better. I think this is also one of the bane that is making the Nigerian economy a far cry, it hurts seeing the lower class graduates not given a chance. I weep for Nigeria. I recently sent my resume to one of the Nigerian job boards just to test if i will be contacted but no call as usual maybe because of my lower degree grin . Nigeria has a very long way to go, even the oyinbos that taught us the system isn't even using it its just so annoying.

For all those with a lower degree believe in yourself, a paper should not define your worth but rather look inward and surely you will conquer.

Pardon my English and thanks for reading

The funniest and most expensive joke I have heard from Nigerians doing menial jobs in the US. and earning between $1,500- $2,000, is claiming that they are richer than bank managers in Nigeria. I guess they make their money in America while spending it in Nigeria. This stupid joke need to stop. A Nigerian doing menial job in the US. at best can be compare to someone receiving 80,000 Monthly in Nigeria in purchasing power. A Nigerian doing odd jobs for 10 yrs will still be paying rent while a 10 yrs bank manager would have long built two to three houses with a lucrative investment. Nigerians in America need to stop converting currencies because it is clearly stated that if you earn $12,000 annually in America you are living in poverty

Business › Re: Meetmal And Mayorall Sold Stolen Funds To Me by Konquest: 1:03am On Nov 18, 2017
Egonne1:
Hello house. I have an urgent situation at hand. Jan 12 2017, I requested for USA cash deposit from Mayorall into my Bank of America account for 4000$ thereabout. On 13 Jan, I received a credit of 5372$ into my account which was more than I requested for. I requested to return the excess since I didn't have enough cash to pay for the excess at the time. Then I found out Mayorall had bought the funds from Meetmal. Meetmal asked that I keep the balance and pay for it at a reduced rate to her. So I made payment to Mayoral and Meetmal for this funds.
March 2017, bank of America closed my account claiming that someone paid in stolen Money into the account but they were unable to let me know the particular transaction and the bank refused me access to the funds in the account.
On Friday, Nov 3 2017, the USA police visited the address on my account to look for me regarding this transaction. Apparently the real owner of the money was told that she won a lottery and asked to pay some amount to claim her lottery price and part of the funds was paid into my account. So the money that Meetmal and Mayorall paid into the account was proceed from a stolen funds.
Now the USA police has given me the option to refund the scammed victim or they would report the matter to the federal authorities. I contacted Meetmal and Mayoral on Saturday to update them and even gave them the screenshot of the email the New York police sent to me.
I have asked Mayoral to refund me the 2 million naira I paid to him and the 513,000 naira I paid to Meetmal so that I can refund the scammed victim.
They have been coming up with different excuses and along the line brought in Tooltip who Meetmal claims she bought the funds from.
The trio is asking me to tell the police to give them another proof that the fund was stolen when its already stated in the email the New York police sent to me. They have refused to refund my money if I don't meet their stupid demand.
Please see screenshot of the message sent by the New York police and tell this people to credit my money.
Mayorall was stupid enough to call me a thief this morning on top the mess they have put me into.

This is not the first time Meetmal fund is causing an account to be closed. Sometime middle of this year, I bought some funds from Meetmal into a friend's account, the bank held the fund and closed down the account. Till today, Meetmal is unable to explain why the payment she made into the account caused the account to be closed.
Mayorall and Meetmal please refund me for the fraud money you paid into my bank of America account.

Gofwane:
Looking back at the life I lived, I can only thank God for being alive. Before the incident, I never and still don't believe in juju as in it can't harm me.

There was this friend of mine whose dad was a commissioner before he died. This guy got used to money to the extent that his mum gave him 2.5m for school fees and other expenses while he was in St Caritas university. But we used that money and ran to exile some where in jos, squandered the whole money on girls and booze. Since then, the mum stopped giving him money.

So one day, he stole the mum's gold earrings and necklace to go and sell, but unfortunately the items fell out from the text book he hid them, right in the front of the mum just as he was going out. So the mum padlocked her room but the determined boy still broke in and stole it while she was at work.

That day, we went and sold everything to the amount of 200k (we later learnt that the original price was more than double of what we sold it) we went back home and prepared for another exile again. That was how we disappeared with the money and spent it on what we know how to do best - girls, drugs and booze. We really enjoyed ourselves not knowing what was waiting for us back home.

To be contd....

A couple simply decided to celebrate their unborn child in a classy motherhood photo and they have not even landed when Nigerians picked them from the air calling the guys wife a prostitute.

However some Nigerians appreciated the couple for introducing something new while majority claimed it was uncalled for a fully married man to allow his wife expose her body in the name of motherhood, he should be ashamed of himself!

VIDEO: Married teacher forced students to have S3X with her to get good grades +PICTURES

Married teacher ‘forced students to have S3X with her to get good grades’ at Colombian school

A Colombian teacher forced high-school students to have sex with her in order to get good grades.

Yokasta M, 40, groomed teenage boys at an undisclosed school in Medellin, Colombia, and would threaten to fail them if they did not sleep with her.

The married teacher was caught after a student told his parents, and in addition to a divorce, she is now facing 40 years in jail.

The incidents took place between January and April 2016, Canal 4 reports.

The teacher approached her students aged 16 and 17 on social media or asked for their phone numbers in class to ‘help with their studies’.

She allegedly used WhatsApp messenger to send explicit images and proposals to her students.

Some guys as of now wouldn't mind this scenario so they can get
teleported back to their high school teenage years
and have their GRADES BUMPED UP too!grin

On a serious note, she was a bit indiscreet
by sharing those n.ude pictures and short videos
via WhatsApp knowing full well that the
materials could be used to blackmail
her by her male teenage students.

I guess she was just bored with her marital
sex life and wanted something more!
