Ephemmm:BTW, Op, this is you, not any friend. If it's not you directly, then you are in the same predicament with the original writer. That makes this thread C&P. Marriage is a mean to an end, not all there is in life. Marriage is not fulfillment and happiness. These are choices that are within us. For a dude who work hard to save N600k without accommodation (privacy) of his own, then the dude is immature and the thought of marriage is a misplaced priority. The picture you painted approves that you are still living under your parents and are confined to whims and caprices of parenting. Leave marriage for now and concentrate on your career until you are matured to marriage. |
aresa:You too are still better than this. Bye |
huptin:I still believe you are better than this |
madamoringo:I assumed you are deeply tribalistic. This is not good for the current national rebirth. Madam pls treat softly. The Yorubas own Lagos, this can never be disputed. But do you know almost all available space in Lagos has been sold to foreigners as highest bidders due to greed of some of these landlords? Imagine if these foreigners handover eviction notices to their former Landlords (Yorubas). Your guess is as good as mine. |
Guy, you probably wanted a story that could make front page with huge attention to your thread. You got it bro. Today is your Christmas |
sleekman:I am not sure I grasped your story. Are your family staying close to Ashi quarters? Where did you meet this alleged ashi who enjoyed the luxury of insulting you and your dad? Kindly throw more light to your story. There is absolutely no smoke without fire. A random girl can never just appeared from the cloud and stated insulting your dad and then you, to warrant Police usual unkind treatment to civilian. Your story is weird though |
Idowuogbo:You still dont believe? Butt pad is meant to blend. Check out this
|
Sanboy25:You can order from Jumia. Feel free |
naptu2:Oh Sweet Jesus!!! That's how we roll bro. I remember this track. I was in my teen back then. You are a classical dude. You know good music |
'I need Someone' Kris Okotie remains one of my all time favourite albums. After the exodus of these legends, the Nigerian music died a natural dead. What we have now are noise makers and cult personalities that live large on Nigerian mentality "support him because he is a Nigerian", even without talent. Thank God I am not a fan of Nigerian noise called Music.

freshness2020:Of course they don't give a hoot about any civilian. The underbridge is ever busy with passengers and passers. For my years of late crawling around the bridge, people's experiences of being mugged is abysmally low if not none. But talk of Oba Akran - around the The Club Royale and adjacent clubs, Ipodo, Olowu and environ including Toyin, these places are red zones at odd hours. |
freshness2020:I disagree on Ikeja under bridge. I might agree on Ikeja along. Ikeja under bridge is not dangerous at night, it is always man by police, unless you are found wandering around the clubs on Oba Akran - a few minutes walk from the foot of the bridge. |
FlirtyKaren:This is where she embarrasses herself before the whole world. Must she exposed herself as well? She keeps moving from one man to other, thus giving a wrong signal to potential men. Madam, know that, every man's success is a product of his believe and attitude, not on your prayers or curses. Women keep deceiving themselves that they can curse men who leaves them hanging in a relationship. If wishes were horses. Why won't God punish both of you for doing unthinkable things in the relationship when the same God does not approve of it. I keep advising people not to show girlfriends and boyfriends (no matter how much you are into that person) to world on social media. The day s/he walks away, the shame will be too much for you to bear. Love is simple. It does not brag or brash. It's a feeling that can only comes from the heart. Show off does not guarantee steadfast relationship. People will never learn. |
This is a ridiculous list. May God help you not to shake hand with one with a live bomb in his shoes thinking s/he is a friend while mistaking an innocence man from afar as suspect. Folks should quit coming up with ridiculous make-believe lists on NL. |
Nigerians and hypocrisy are synonymous |
For the first time in a long time, these are the best Comments I have heard from a Nigerian politician. Quite apt, "wise leaders respond to ideas not insults" Thumbs up my friend Bruce |
This is the part where the Nigerian government wins. Tracking chips can be embedded inside the body of these BH prisoners overnight to track their hideout after the exchange has been concluded. |
People are excelling in this sort of venture. You are not going to be the first person. Yours is far better you have a sponsor |
Maxymilliano:If those are Fayose's sons...I am wondering if they lost their gentlemanliness. They look rough like troublemakers instead of refined gentlemen of the 21st century. Perhaps, the photo artist was rough on them. Just my observation though |
Op, your list reeks of insecurity typical of a lost young man. Why the hell do you care about what your office mates think of you and your status? Singlehood or marriagehood is a choice I should make out of my own volition, but not what the society or majority compels me to. The majority, many times, is a group of highly motivated snails. NEVER take direction for your personal life from a crowd and NEVER choose to quit just because somebody disagrees with you. |
all4naija:...Next please |
all4naija:I expected an alleged knowledgeable man like you to double-check the argument and see why the images were uploaded. But you opted to wallow in your feigned cognitive awareness. |
America has just put the final nail on her coffin by accepting accepting LGBT in her procreative, social, religious and economic affairs. |
Sex on the first date is same as sex on the hundredth date. Ladies have taken this relationship issue way too far. If you want to keep the virginity till marriage - excellent, but if you had lost it and still want to feign hard to get in order not to be labelled 'cheap'. You are on your own. |
Teempakguy:Oh! I see, you are a teenager (checked his profile)). Adult discourse will be difficult for you to understand. When you are of age, you would understand |
ahamonyeka:Convince me these are Nigerians
|
Teempakguy:Nope? What does a man wants? A woman's money or guard services? Decency tells a man never to ask for sex in a short run, but in the long run he knows he will get it. Short run or long run, does not mean a man will stay. The earlier we stop deceiving ourselves the better |
Orina:Not only in Nigeria Sir. It happens even in developed countries as well. I watched a documentary on CNN sometimes past, on teenagers and adults scrambling on roof top of trains in Australia, immigrating to other countries. The scenario was scary to watch. This kind of stunt is totally condemned. Change must come from each and everyone of us. |
You killed and buried the list when you added Banky W, Dbanj, Tim. I see no talent in these dudes. They are living on 'Cult Personalities" |
Working Train system to the rescue |
Mugabe, thumbs up on standing on your believe. Your personal comment is apt. You and (late Col Col Gaddafi) I HATE LGBT - they are all delusional feigning to have born that way, yet gay men behaving like female just to attract other gay men, and lesbian behaving like men to attract fellow lesbo. Transgenders going on surgeon's knives just to have the opposite sex genitals. What a sick people, discombobulately high on cheap opiums. This is where I like Islam with passion, if you have the balls, visit a mosque as a Moslem and request to wed a fellow man/woman and let see if you'll live to narrate your story to the Obama govt. Hypocrite Christians will always accept this nonsense set of people so as not to be seen as 'passing judgement'. |
The world is damned. USA is amassing weapons in her quest to install a universal government and control the world resources. |
