Guys, c'mon I still don't get why this extortion is allowed. Some say, it is illegal to buy in fuel in jerrican hence the fine. Is that realistic? |
Your choice of Lagos as your head office must be looked at critically. Lagos state Internal Revenue service, Local govt taxes and all other multiple taxation imposed by Lagos state are drain-pipes to most businesses in Lagos. You might consider relocating to those cities you thought were not worth the glory of having your head office. I bet, If you are non-Lagosian, 90% of your jobs/contracts will come from outside Lagos state, but most of your operational expenses will be borned in Lagos. |
Hahahahahahaha! I laugh at 'Super-fast Internet Modem'. Is that supposed to make me heave a sigh of relief? It's a sale strategy any way. It's only gullible minds that will fall for this scam again from yet another telecom company in Nigeria. A necessity like calls from these networks are appalling. You hardly get the person at the other end of the line, yet you will be charged with exuberance. I remember, before the launched of Nigcomsat1 and MainOne fibre, the Nigerian society was awashed with unrealistics benefits of Nigcomsat. Nigerian felts the launched of these platforms would leverage the Internet. Years after, the experience is worst. Has anything ever work in Nigeria? My fingers crossed |
Christina Aguilera is 'wow', but I noticed she is 'plump'. Is she heavy or something? |
Psychological impact some of these 'not-so-friendly' work environments have on the workers in Nigeria is another factor of poor customer service in Nigeria. However, I found out that most businesses in Nigeria pay little or no attention at all to customer support. They want your money and never care about after sale services. Nigerians are used to 'off-the-shelf' business style. |
chaircover: None of the above . . . .but a nagging boss is slightly easier to deal with than a nagging spouse and you can always tender your resignation . . . . plus having a nagging boss will give you the motivation to do whatever it takes to better yourself so you can leave the company.Excellent! A nagging boss is manageable. He can be replaced. But hell no to a nagging wife. You have to live with it or you work out ways to change her. The house will be a living hell with a nagging wife. |
kitty kat: I am fine dearie. How are you?I am very well. It's been ages. Good to hear from you. Cheers |
A true friend never leave you behind no matter what. |
skydeep: Thanks. Thats me.Thumbs up. Cheers lady |
skydeep: Just ask me out politely. You are a beauty to behold if that's really you in the profile image. I like your bluntness |
YES with no hesitation, provided it comes from his heart |
Making her know she was everything to me and putting all my eggs in one basket because of trust. All water under the bridge now. Still shattered by her...there is really a thin line between love and hate. Karma is still a bitch |
A Woman is more bitter (worst) than death, the Bible warns. . . ."and I find something more bitter than death: the woman whose heart is snares and nets, and whose hands are fetters. He who pleases God escapes her, but the sinner is taken by her". "For the lips of an adulteress drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil; but in the end she is bitter as gall, sharp as a double-edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps lead straight to the grave. She gives no thought to the way of life; her paths are crooked, but she knows it not". |
jhydebaba: This is 9ja, anything goes. I once stood up against such illegality but the time u'll waste plus the people who'll talk u down (d okada man for example)and the extra money u'll waste (phone calls, hospital treatment in the case of injury) will make u to leave them have there way. It's a sad tale bro. The attendant was acting with impunity and audacity as if was his right. Why are we this docile and naive in this part of the world? The govt rapes the citizen, the citizens themselves are fleecing one another. When will the cycle of savageness ever ends? |
I am not sure this girl takes her bath daily. How does she bath with this heavy make-up transformation. smh@what girls go through for skindeep |
Hey folks, Please why do Fuel attendants charge N50 from customers buying fuel in Jerrican? Is there any law in Nigeria that forbid people from buying fuel in jerrican? Today, I had a confrontation with an attendant in one of the fuel stations at Ogba who refused to give me a balance of 90 from 30litres of fuel@97/per litre. I decided to be a gentleman and requested to see the management of the station for an explanation. I perceived fear among them when I entered one of the offices and met some men I assumed they were the managers. But when I tabled my displeasure and threatened to make case with the station, they denied being in management cadre, and with alacrity dialled one of their top guys for me to speak with. To shorten the story, the guy apologised for the embarrassing misunderstanding with the attendant and requested for my change to be given. I was like, why are we Nigerians fond of extorting other Nigerians? We blame all the ills in Nigeria on govt, but we as the governed are not doing anything to protect other Nigerians from all these unmerited exploitations. I was dead shocked when an okada man in the station walked up to me and told me, ''bros, you are bigger than this''. I was like, wtf. I was not bothered about the balance, I only wanted a valid reason why I was fined for buying in jerrican. What are your thoughts and experience guys. I was not aware of this practice. Any justification? . |
The list should include contingency expense. Good job sassygal |
dabrake: I had this female friend and I liked her. Inshort, I saw her as a sister.Weird!! The kind of attitude from most girls that make guys look mean. It's a terrible attitude. I don't understand why good intentions of most guys are interpreted as foolishness by most girls. Please, let these girls grow up for goodness sake. |
Once the pronouncement was made by CBN, I expected Banks to comply. Do they need to write to the National Assembly for approval before they configure their ATM software. I bet if it was to increase the transaction (withdrawal) charge, the software would have been configured even before CBN made the pronouncement public. If this pronouncement see the light of the day, Nigerians are hereby encouraged to check their account balance timely because banks will step up their games in hidden charges on customers' accounts. |
yusufu16: I want to congratulate all designers who have participated in this Contest. I also want to thank you Seun for creating this platform where we can showcase our creative abilities. All of us are Winners. Lets continue to put in our best in whatever we do. Thank you all.Congratulations! Those ads are 'wow'. I would love to be tutored in graphic design. Let's talk bro. |
Guy, move on. Don't let her bring back the memory. It will make you sad. Say hi to her and never disclose your pin. Those who care never walk away. Last I checked: Friendship still remain, Regard, Affection and Trust. He who lacks these qualities is not a friend. He is best seen as an acquaintance |
emilyone: fear of commitment!. . .when they have a full life ahead of them |
Your assertion does not represent the reality. The women 'i want to marry you' friend dates may also lay credence to this syndrome in him. I found out that your friend has no deep feelings for these women. Dating or sleeping with them does not mean he is matured for marriage. You don't just jump into the bandwagon of marriage because you are successful (career-wise). Walking into privileges of life does not mean maturity. I will rather marry a lady ( of average success) I am ready to adjust my life to be with because I have been charmed by her outward and inward beauty than marry a lady who is very successful, beautiful outwardly but lacks the decorum that supposed to make a lady. Her inner beauty should radiates more than her physical beauty. There is this saying that "money will get you the woman you want, but |

igbsam: THis is what i would suggest you buy for her. Trust me, you would come back to thank me.Muahhhahhahahhhaa@those shoes. SMH@romantic birthday |
Does the Lagos state govt really need your input? What makes you think (no matter how lofty your ideas are) your input will be considered. Apparently, these guys in govt spend greater percentage of their time abroad compared to home front. Aren't those things they see in those countries impress and inspire them? Some of those countries are not as rich as Nigeria. Do they really need to be enlightened? Lagos state govt has the answer to the traffic imbroglio in the state, but it lacks the will power and the fear of respite an ordinary man on the street may enjoy. The Govt believes, in poverty will the people continue to be hoodwinked. Developmental framework/blueprint is a pathfinder to any govt. You dont just wake up one day and sign a bill into law without weighting the pro and con of the bill. You don't expect to make a mega city overnight out of no long term planning. Mega city without access to opportunities is as good as making a wish. Our leaders a gifted with the attitude of doing the last thing first and the first thing last. They want names but not achievement speaking for them. For quick reference: Agricultural sector needs urgent attention in Nigeria. Diversifying the economy will drive growth and non--dependent on the enigma called 'oil'. A lot of things will fall into place. There will be remarkable non-dependent in govt for certain needs. Do we need to tutor the govt that there is a need for infrastructural development and reinforcement? Why is revamping the power sector a mirage? To me, it's a waste of productive time. They will rather embezzle tax payers money and invest same in foreign countries, because they dont care about you, than considering your advices which are things they already knew. |
kitty kat: Agreed. D vow shd do the opposite.Hey Kitty Kat, Long time no hear. I trust life has been beautiful. Cheers |
...put no strain on relationship. Rather, vows strengthen relationship. Apparently, sensual and material greed of couples injure relationships. Lately, so much pretenses in the name of love in desperation to take advantage of what the other person can offer. |
1. Never claim being on the right side of the law with Lagos Police. You will regret doing that by the time they finish with you. 2. Keep your head down. Keep your eyes open. Resist the urge to be seen as important, lay low. Know your exit |
Lagos is just like any other states/cities in Nigeria. It will be how you want it to be to you. Live uprightly, be smart, be undaunted. . . in fact, be sure you are right, then go ahead |
