And the purpose of this thread is? ... to share gists, tales by moonlight or because one woman's actions represents you? Who cares what another woman does in her marriage?

I watched a naija man beat his friend at a Wal-Mart parking lot many years ago. Before I even dialed 911, it was too late because on-lookers were surpringly faster than I was. How does it represent any percentage of Nigerian men abroad?

Don't judge anyone unless you a share a bed with them.

RomanceRe: How My Girlfriend Failed My Fidelity Test. by kpolli(m): 8:38pm On Jul 07, 2015
Pchidexy:
I met this girl when I was a teacher in a private school five years ago. She was a teacher as well. She was a hell of beauty. We both had feelings for each other but there wasn't anything serious. We lost contact when I left the school to pursue business. Five years later, in 2015, we met again. This time, we got really acquainted to each other. We were rolling!

The Test:
I purposely gave her number and details to my friend who is a real player. He scooped her and she fell. She was money conscious as she demanded Samsung galaxy and some money from my friend. He never gave her any of those things. Just by promising her marriage she willingly opened her legs for him. All these while, I was updated by my friend. She never knew I knew about her escapades.

If you were in my shoes what would you do?

As for me I see her as worthless and only use her to quench konji.
Now you know a woman today doesn't wanna hear "I love you", all she wants is "I will marry you"

Good evening family!
I'll keep the story short.
A young single lady of about 33yrs has been newly employed in our office. She relocated from Abuja.

I am a married man but for the past two weeks she has been begging me to show her some key places in town.

I've given her lots of excuses because something does not feel right about her request. She keeps pestering me daily even though she sees my wedding ring. The disturbing fact is that we have more than 5 bachelors in the office. I'm tired of her. Please how do I go about this?
Organize a bachelor friend of yours, you, your wife and her should go out... Pass on the torch

A friend of mine that is married for about four yrs now but with out a child called me this afternoon and complained bitterly about his wife
1. The wife is looking for a job since she finish her NYSC in 2008.
2. The wife met a guy on her way to PH from delta state for women convention 2wks ago and the told her to apply for a job in his office that his is the regional MD PH zone which she did. Last wk she was invited for an interview in PH my friends wife travelled for d interview and stayed with her friend (lady) on the morning of the interview the MD called her and he took her to d venue of d interview on their way there d MD( who is not member of the interview panel) told her dat she shud tell them dat she stays at PH whereas she stays in delta with her husband and also dat she would want to wok in PH. If she want to get d job. D interview lasted till about 9.30pm cos of the crowd and after the interview d MD dropped her where he pick her from in the morning and dat if she is taken she will b payed 75k as salary. D next day she came back to delta and since den d MD has been calling her on phone both at day and at night not minding she is married. According to my friend some times they will b on phone for up to 30mins. Wot they discussing he don't know but right now he is querreling with his wife dey r not in talking terms and dat she is preparing for d job and by 2moro or next she may b called for her appointment latter. He has gotten d so called MD's number but he has not called him. Also my friend told me dat one day he was on call wit his client (female) and heaven was loss dat day cos he was talking with a female.plus so many other tins dat my friend complained about. I told my friend dat am rushing to pick my children in sch.dat my wife n I will go and see dem later in d evening. Fellow nairalanders I need ur advise on wot to tell dem cos their Union is on the verge of braking up. Matured advice(from married NL) Tnk
If the wife thinks this new MD and small job is worth her marriage... He should let her go! If she sees nothing wrong in her actions then she is already lost
FamilyRe: Sistas, Why Are Some Of Us Too Angry Even In The Public? by kpolli(m): 11:39pm On Jun 30, 2015
Woged2005:
Some Nigerian women abroad are practical disgrace to our country and to motherhood. I was in a mall few hours ago watching a very shameful display of public disgrace by a Nigerian woman (in her late 30s or so) arguing with her husband right in the line at the register..screaming and calling him unprintable degrading names. The woman obviously looks like she is the bread-winner (but I don't know) I wished I didn't greet them earlier so people wouldn't know we came from the same county. I must say the man is a cultured gentleman who stopped talking once his wife's voice went up. He even left the line and walked back and the lady kept screaming and calling her husband names, narrating to thin air things people don't need to know... and at some point screamed "..you will force me to divorce your azzzz..." wo! wo!! wo!! embarassed The most appalling is that their little kids are their watching. Can't this type of argument wait till you get home? I walked away in shame.

Please my sistas we are not the only ones that came to America and met 'Freedom' and 'rights' but the way some of us misuse it is shocking. Indians, and Chinese saw the same freedom too but use it to build 'empires'. Let's start showing some family values. You men, please be careful the type of women you marry and bring abroad. All this una one month Facebook friendship and arrangee hookup without proper dating and courtship is your undoing. Look beyond physical looks and appearances.

Hi-Fives tor all those naija sistas out there doing us proud, and representing good family values we are known for. God bless ya sistas!!!
My sister thank you

FamilyRe: Why Are Nigerians So Judgemental by kpolli(m): 10:57pm On Jun 26, 2015
missKiffy:
It baffles me sometimes why some Nigerians are so judgemental, if for instance you see a topic about a lady or child being raped or someone who lost his or her life in one tragic incident or the other, but instead of some Nigerians condemning the act of the culprit, they will choose to throw blames around or judge the victims, some even go as far as blaming or judging the dead. Let me use rape as an example, if a post about rape is posted here, hardly will you not see a comment blaming or judging the victim, some won't even bother condemning the act at all, and this is mostly done by guys, who also have mothers, sisters, nieces, cousins, if any of them gets raped will you start blaming them, then why blaming the other person, only because she's a stranger. I think this is one attitude we need to put an end to as Nigerians. Let us show support to victims of rape, armed robbery, kidnapping etc instead of throwing blames around or even judging the victims.
Because we are Nigerians duh!!! tongue tongue

RomanceRe: Fear I Will Never Get Married :/ by kpolli(m):
Arami92:
So Nairalanders! i Need advice oo!

I'm Nigerian, but i'm very Americanized..(came to America when i was small).

People tell me i'm a very pretty girl, and most of my friends say it won't be hard for me to get married...BUT i can't seem to get a boyfriend talk-less of marriage. At 23 i've never even had a serious boyfriend and i don't know why. i'm starting to wonder if there is something seriously wrong with me that i cannot see.

Here are the things i think may be the problem (based on my opinion and what others have told me):

a) I'm not always super approachable. i'm not mean at all but i don't go out of my way to be talking to everybody. But i always dress well, i smile and act friendly and i'm not mean to people. But my friends still say because guys may be intimidated when they see a pretty girl who has a stuck up appearance they won't approach her. I have pride but it's not arrogance.

b) I'm still a virgin. I get scared when it comes to sexual things because my biggest fear is to lose my virginity with a man that will only leave me or doesn't truly love me. So when i'm dating a guy and he tries to make things sexual i always cut that very short!. My friends say this may be a turnoff to guys because you have to tease them and give them something to hang on to because men are very sexual. (Like i won't even kiss you until i really like you.) BUT my father raised me to never be ashewo! So i try to keep myself as pure as possible for the right person, so sometimes that gets in the way of the natural flow of things.

c) I'm stubborn o! Like sometimes i like to form *Hard-to-get* I was always told as a woman you should never be too easy for a man, that you should let him chase you. And this is usually what i do. And i also don't always show my emotions. Like if i'm starting to really like a guy i'm very scared to express it. I always hold back unless he professes his love for me first. I feel like if you show too much emotion too soon you can scare men away so i let him lead on how much emotion to show.

d) lastly I only like to date Nigerian guys. But i live in a city where there are very few of us. My friends say when i move to a city with more Nigerians the suitors will be rolling in but idk. I still cant help but feel like maybe something is wrong with me.

Words of advice will be appreciated<3
After viewing your profile, all I can say is lose that fear.....

Plus there are a lot of bad eggs (American Nigerian girls) that have spoilt market for the good ones.... Every city I have moved to has had a tale of why we should not near any

RomanceRe: My Girlfriend Said Her Previous Guy Was Stronger In Bed. by kpolli(m): 7:46pm On Jun 25, 2015
cronsberg:
Guys, i was just having a conversation with my girlfriend/ wife to be about likes and likes-not in bed, and while listing her likes, she went on a story telling episode about her previous guy. The part of the story that caught my attention was when she said that her ex will do her for hours without resting. She said there was a time she visited the guy and he effd her from 12 noon to 5pm, that she could barely walk that day and was feeling so satisfied and fulfilled. She then said with all the fuss i was making about effing her out of her senses, that i came short of satisfaction, and that the guy was stronger in bed. You could imaging how furious and boiling i was feeling inside while hearing this from her in a normal conversation.
The facts are though that when ever we have sex, i am absolutely sure i last for atleast 15 minutes or more no doubt, my penis is 5.7 to 6 inches erect and hard as wood, i do pre-intimacy and such, so what the hell is the problem? Is it even my damn problem or her's? I know for damn sure no normal guy will last for more than 20 minutes of constant thrusting. If she has to be effd for hours in order to feel satisfied, isn't she the one with the problem? On the one hand, i feel like i shouldn't even worry myself since she is aperantly the nimphomeniac not me. On the other hand, i feel that her "accidental revelation" is a sign of what's to come, as in she might be a cheater when married because of her insatiable appetied for marathon sex.
what's your opinion guys
First of all, she was dating a jobless guy... 12noon to 5pm, pure lie.... Next, one day give her atleast 45 mins (hint: don't do pre-intimacy, you will last way longer)..... Second to lastl, we actually didn't need to know the size of your manhood..... Lastly, forget that girl... She will always go back to her ex (that's if she doesn't do so already) for marathons
