Once the maize is 17-21 days old striker 110ml + 2-4d 60ml. NOTE you should not allow unwanted plant to reach one month old before you spray striker, if you do, it will not crush it but just make it stand still (stagnant) for like two weeks, then the weed resurrect again. Best time to enjoying striker work is when the weed is between 2-3 weeks old.

i was in the market to do market survey in prep for our tom and pepper that will be hitting market.
The attached bucket is the yardstick commonly used for okra, pepper, tom in Osun state. It's around 8 to 9L capacity, that's about 2 small paint rubber. Farmers can decide to measure 2, 3, 4, 5... of the bucket into a basket as we don't have a standard basket measurement here .

Okra is 1.2k(m still surprised okra is still on high side at this time)
Pepper is 3.5 to 3k
Tom(local) is 2k.

From mid Dec to May, okra is scarce. I don't have the idea of the current price for now.

Some years ago, I got one n half bag on a plot at the peak harvest, I harvested 2ce a week, this amounted to 3 bag per week. If you work on population n feed them well, u can get more. I sold bag btw 5 to 7k depending on the scarcity(mind u, during glut, it can sell 2k, lol). Check it out in a month if u plant 2,3,..6 plots.
Those months u listed up there, are the periods where only northerners supply markets to the SW, and there type is the long pod which SW don't like, since they don't have options, they buy it like that.

1. I use to wet about 15 stand of pepper I planted during dry season, I will tell you it not easy,on commercial level it a no no for me! 2. Remove one out of the two because of air flow. 3. If everything go well I don't think you will need to irrigate because we are already in raining season and tomato do not need water like that.

Planting start today, I took four boys to farm to plant. It 22 days today since I ploughed. I deliberately allow unwanted (weed) plant to germinate so I can spray systematic herbicide (glyphosate and 2-4d), as the weed is dying, the maize will be growing for like 3 weeks. Then I will spray selective post systematic (striker and 2-4d again.) The video will be available shortly on IG or YouTube.
