princemillla:Oh I can see that now, though you shouldn't have sent a small boy who had no idea on how to spot a fake in the first place... Hopefully you recover your money |
princemillla:Post says it's for parts... Abi OP modified the post or what am I missing here? |
phr33man:I hope that's not the case... |
Shabillonair:This their new format never gets old but all the same, confirm the place via Google and Nairaland |
Fake? When their "verified" stores and outlets full Nigeria... |
sagieramos:People wey dey buy Samsung S20, S10 or Note 10 fit afford iPhone 8 up to 11 Pro Max. Na by choice. |
Jerusalem1:Why all this fanboyism? When there's a Pixel |
RealEzee: sunshineV:The "it's hard to get items internationally" always annoys me. If dem hear say iPhone dey very cheap abroad, even if it takes 2months nobody go talk about parts or anything. If na Android, excuses will start flying upandown even if it's 1wk shipping. |
Uni students writing their finals aren't included... It's well |
jericco1:Maybe it's dependant on type of package subscribed to. Might try it when I exhaust current plan. |
Kunja2:If the pandemic is over, what happens then? "I don't trust China with my money" "I cannot wait 1 month to get the package" "post office ke... I'm not doing again" "The product is from China, it won't last of I buy from Ali. Lemme use jumia instead" (same jumia that ships from China too but wetin man go do) Those are some of what you'll hear before/after pandemic. Also getting stuff isn't hard, what's making it hard is our useless customs who are always looking for ways to collect money and you thinking it's hard. |
If that's your top 10 abi top 4, you need to reevaluate your choice in devices.
|
Kunja2:Some people gan... This mentality of buying a gadget for the sake of repairing should end by next year. We're in a digital era, with means of getting stuff across the globe. Use those means. |
Kunja2:Dial *121# If you're not, start doing monthly plans of #1k and above. Think that's how I got mine. |
AutoPhone:@bolded is you asking for more trouble. If you can't take the heat, you got no business in a forum. If you feel you're entitled to your opinions, so are those that "insults" you. If you like be a military man or president. As long as you're here, you're like everyone else - a normie. |
jericco1:How come your bonus lasts for 1 month but mine lasts only a week ![]()
|
graejo:Old sim here. It works for me |
fineboynl:Possibly camera2api isn't enabled. Check which level it is in with camera2 probe (download form play store) |
fineboynl:Celsoazevedo dot com. What device is this? |
It took a stray bullet but there's no ink on the screen. It took a stray bullet but screen is 100% functional It's one thing to lie, it's another to use the name of the Lord in vain in this brand war. Before you come and start spewing religious izh to me, I know how a device hit with a stray bullet looks like. If na bullet, you no suppose create dis thread. If na local gun with pellets like someone said, dat screen plus parts of ur body for scatter AND NOTE, you were in the middle of it. No be only you don jam cultists for school, no be only you don see first-hand action. This screen is from the result of it falling on a pointy, blunt object. Don't use the name of religion to lie. |
Youngpo413:Of course they can't if the solution to almost all their device problems is factory reset, flashing, changing of motherboard or worse asking you to buy another of their product. |
Norman4real:Unlike the 3 popular devices here in Nigeria, those "other" brands are recognized worldwide. Samsung with exynos got Gcam ports, Xiaomi with mediatek-powered RN8 Pro got Gcam ports. Point is, there are devs willing to work on some of these brands devices despite the obstacles with working with mtk chips. Transsion them could have Gcam ports but our devs here are busy chasing bigger things instead of working on it as a side project or are many Nigerians ready to contribute to pay a dev to build one. |
Jacku:It's not on play store. Check celsoazevedo dot com. Recommend modders to download from are parrot42, urnyx, BSG or tigr. |
Jacku:Er... Download and install. But check of your deci6is compatible (must have snapdragon chipset, camera2api enabled to level 3, full or both) |
Nellsworld:Try trcam 7.2 V7 stable in the Gcam group (change viewfinder option to YUV), make sure you clear the app data again after installing. Urnyx n burial got some issues. That shoots videos without crashing. IMO, I prefer the stock camera for video shots to Gcam own. You can try out 7.4 Gcam with slib Modified - try A.I.X camera instead, it got more options for videos and a hevc storage option format. That's it in the pic below
|
VeeVeeMyLuv:Which one? Their midrangers and flagship get AMOLED screen ![]() |
chizzily:Still it would be better to drop your contacts. Serious buyers don't drop their numbers, they look for digits instead. From the views your post keeps getting, @bolded is A LOT. Drop your digits, you'll see them flood your line and you'll be the one deciding who to choose. |
edoairways:Both of you sharing a similar experience doesn't mean it's the "truth" and applies to all units sold. Also, given the large community, you could ask for help here and gotten answers too. If you feel they won't, join the telegram group (the worldwide one). You'll definitely get answers. I don't see why you should keep a faulty device without looking for help. Even if you sell the device, the next owner would look for solutions and find it too. |
ShitStain:I did drop a comment about it but I was banned, my comment deleted. But someone else explained it all the same, dropping examples of what should be expected from a true 4k TV (like the HDMI port type for one being a dead giveaway) in one of the new thread advertising the 4k TV. |
Nellsworld:Me na small boi for ur side ![]() |
omotoyecable:There's guides on your device forum on XDA to flash a 64-bit Android 9 OS but honestly it isn't really worth it for using it for Gcam alone, given the most preferred stable version is 6.1 and 7.0. Only some added features like improved night sight, shooting 4k videos or something... Enjoy using the Gcam till you can find someone close ready to introduce you into the world of flashing. |
Joined NL to learn about phone stuff since one brand showed me pepper. Still here for the occasional knowledge, news and savagery. |
