But most 48mp are binned in a 2 by 2 (quad Bayer system). These sensors use a small 0.8µm pixels.

Even though it outputs a 12mp resolution photo. There's still 48 million pixels on the sensor. It doesn't change.

It was about the 0.8 pixel value changing if the 48mp mode is not in use. You just confirmed it doesn't.

I'd go for the note 9 pro. Samsung midrangers aren't that good. Only good thing about the phone is their display, battery and the brand name.

So this means 48MP lens - irrespective of the user not activating the 48MP mode - pixel size will remain the same... Wow.

Like I said, camon 12 can't run demanding games smoothly except casual ones, simulation and a few turn-based games, something I've tested and seen before which is why I wouldn't recommend their products, except the note 7, to power users and those who want value for money.

Android system takes up storage in your phone, as well as preloaded apps like Google and some bloatware.

Also, your phone could support A/B partition, meaning that you have two OS in your phone (Slot A can be the one you're in, slot B is the previous version before you updated your phone).

If I run apps like CODM, Asphalt 9 or PUBG on a device and it still stutters on default setting recommended or try running psp emulators and I got to dial down on performance to enjoy some games, despite the manufacturers saying it's in the mid-range segment, the device and the brand na wash for me.

Budget entry phones now are getting better than midrangers, midrangers are almost competing with flagships in some areas. In Transsion case, I'm not seeing any significant development.

I do not need to convince someone whose hate for a product beclouds his reasoning. This is my first time commenting about my device, so m not one of these people who waste time all day arguing about phones. I seriously don't have that time. Believe or not, your choice.

My "hate" or whatever you call it are based off my experiences from using the brand products.
I don't patronize mediocrity - especially in tech - and your choice to do so isn't my headache.

If you want to have an argument, be ready to listen to the views of others instead of assuming everyone using a product got no issues with it but since you've stated you got no interest arguing, I won't.

Still, my "hate" on the brand and their products (except the Note 7) still remains if they're unwilling to change their practices of assuming Africans (especially Nigerians) don't deserve getting phones with decent build, run latest software without hitches due to compatibility issues, be relevant in the dev community.

Call it a "hate speech" for all I care, THAT is my opinion based off my experience with them and the experience of close friends and acquaintances who know what's up in the tech hub.

Say whatever will make you happy, as for me, I'm done.

I have lots of heavy games on my phone, like Modern Combat, PUBG, Free Fire, Clash of Kings, Sim FreePlay, and other productivity apps.

My experience using the device is great. No regret whatsoever. This is my honest review, and I have nothing to gain.

The only issue I have with the company is late update. Aside from that, my experience is good.

Cos even on smooth+high, your gameplay won't be enjoyable after a few matches, especially if you're constantly clutching in TDM, unless you're a casual player.
Also MC 4 or 5? Cos I know MC 5 had compatibility issues with old MTK-powered devices, especially unpopular ones (repeated downloads of a single episode was one of the breaking points)

Then again, your definition of enjoyment might be suffering for me.

I've been using Camon 12 pro since January this year. This is the sweetest phone I've ever used.

The performance is sleek, fast and smooth. Camera is top notch, and can run numerous heavy apps without lagging.

Whenever an app dares lag, it is always from the app.. After an app update, I discover that it solves the problem.

So, I don't know where you bought the Camon 12 pro you're using. Perhaps you bought Aba made.

Cos my friend with a camon 12 pro played BIA, boy the frame drops were damn obvious even to the untrained eye.
Unless your apps include SM and casual games like candy crush or word cookies (which doesn't count in my case), I won't believe you.

If Mediatek is ready to release source codes without OEMs mollycoddling them, that'll be great. Other than that, they're getting good.
Rest of them, especially Kirin, we'll see what they have in store in Q4 and next year.
