Some devices like ROG 2, black shark 3 and Xperia 1 II got a feature that allows you to charge your device overnight without actually harming the battery cells... |
atheistandproud:It was about the 0.8 pixel value changing if the 48mp mode is not in use. You just confirmed it doesn't. |
I'd go for the note 9 pro. Samsung midrangers aren't that good. Only good thing about the phone is their display, battery and the brand name. |
So this means 48MP lens - irrespective of the user not activating the 48MP mode - pixel size will remain the same... Wow. |
atheistandproud:Same thing in Owerri. I almost loseguard the day I was going to buy the RN 7. Those ladies fit make you buy another thing without much effort. Thankfully, na vex carry me enter there after my near scam experience |

Go on Twitter and tag segalink with the links to the audio and video. You'll get your justice |
Vaselinelord:Like I said, camon 12 can't run demanding games smoothly except casual ones, simulation and a few turn-based games, something I've tested and seen before which is why I wouldn't recommend their products, except the note 7, to power users and those who want value for money. |
Android system takes up storage in your phone, as well as preloaded apps like Google and some bloatware. Also, your phone could support A/B partition, meaning that you have two OS in your phone (Slot A can be the one you're in, slot B is the previous version before you updated your phone). |
Vaselinelord:I don't buy phones to keep chrome tabs open... Also wth uses that data-guzzling app ![]() If I run apps like CODM, Asphalt 9 or PUBG on a device and it still stutters on default setting recommended or try running psp emulators and I got to dial down on performance to enjoy some games, despite the manufacturers saying it's in the mid-range segment, the device and the brand na wash for me. Budget entry phones now are getting better than midrangers, midrangers are almost competing with flagships in some areas. In Transsion case, I'm not seeing any significant development. |
Vaselinelord:Chaii... What lie? I said what I saw and experienced and you're here calling me a liar. Why don't you drop your experience from handling the device, not he said/she said type of experience. |
I don't blame her. |
shogsman:Tech gini? Explain what he meant he won't, instead he's deflecting. |
Erm I thought 2k and 1440p are the same or am I missing something? ![]() Edit - nevermind, found out the difference. On a serious note, ignorance truly is a disease *spits* |
Bloghomies:My "hate" or whatever you call it are based off my experiences from using the brand products. I don't patronize mediocrity - especially in tech - and your choice to do so isn't my headache. If you want to have an argument, be ready to listen to the views of others instead of assuming everyone using a product got no issues with it but since you've stated you got no interest arguing, I won't. Still, my "hate" on the brand and their products (except the Note 7) still remains if they're unwilling to change their practices of assuming Africans (especially Nigerians) don't deserve getting phones with decent build, run latest software without hitches due to compatibility issues, be relevant in the dev community. Call it a "hate speech" for all I care, THAT is my opinion based off my experience with them and the experience of close friends and acquaintances who know what's up in the tech hub. Say whatever will make you happy, as for me, I'm done. |
Bloghomies:Interesting... You got PUBG and Free Fire... Tell me, you play safe or hotdrop? TDM?? Cos even on smooth+high, your gameplay won't be enjoyable after a few matches, especially if you're constantly clutching in TDM, unless you're a casual player. Also MC 4 or 5? Cos I know MC 5 had compatibility issues with old MTK-powered devices, especially unpopular ones (repeated downloads of a single episode was one of the breaking points) Then again, your definition of enjoyment might be suffering for me. |
Weekend don start ![]() @OP RN 8Pro or RN 9, anyone of the two your budget reach |
If that MTN line isn't your main line, leave it dormant for 1-3 months before using it again. You'll get the welcome back bonuses again. If it isn't, migrate to pulse and go for 1.5Gb for 7 days @ #500 or try *121# like the person above me suggested and go for 2Gb for 7 days @ #500. Note - you'll get double data offers based off how much you spend on data, don't get your hopes high if you don't see 1.5Gb @ #300. |
Bloghomies:Me and others who got friends using a camon 12 pro seriously doubt your claim! App updates doesn't do shii if no bugs were acknowledged. Cos my friend with a camon 12 pro played BIA, boy the frame drops were damn obvious even to the untrained eye. Unless your apps include SM and casual games like candy crush or word cookies (which doesn't count in my case), I won't believe you. |
skywalker240:Nah, it's 980 for 5G variant and 9611 for A51 |
skywalker240:That and they shipping it with the exynos 990 too |
Chuksteric:Odiegwu

Simple and precise, from the beginning to the end. Await your next blog entry. |
The person running@proliceforce parody account, only God knows what they'll do to him |
Youngpo413:With the trade war going on, they might survive but I'm not banking on that. |
atheistandproud:If Mediatek is ready to release source codes without OEMs mollycoddling them, that'll be great. Other than that, they're getting good. Rest of them, especially Kirin, we'll see what they have in store in Q4 and next year. |
The Mi A3 is the only Android One device I've seen to come with all sorts of errors and bugs. It's well... |
Flytime:Till Samsung and Mediatek up their game, that's how it's gonna be. |
