chizzily:You as the seller should be the one to drop your number and asking price, not the other way around. The way I'm seeing it, it's like you're one of those sellers who'd tell buyer 1 100k, buyer 2 105k and buyer 3 maybe 120k. |
edoairways:There's a difference between a review and personal opinion/truth. What she dropped here I'll tag as her opinions. Reviews suggest MIUI despite some flaws (which can be rectified with ease of you ready to look) is better. Her opinion is the UI is bad for her cos she isn't ready to get the hang of it since she came off OneUI and change sometimes doesn't sit well with some people. Reviews show 6Gb is more than enough to multitask. Anything higher is purely for gaming use or some serious task alone. She complaining about it is her personal opinion. Prolly MIUI aggressive battery saving feature at work which can be turned off. But still, MIUI isn't as aggressive as OnePlus which she's painting it to be. Reviews shows phones overheat on some serious, constant heavy usage. Given the chipset, that's gonna take some time Her opinion is it overheats, maybe she mistook warm for overheating which is completely normal. Note that an ice-cold device isn't normal at all. Reviews show the camera is great, no lags unless maybe you shooting HDR. Her opinion is the camera lags, signs of a defective device or otherwise. Like I said, what she wrote was her opinion. The word review and opinion has been interchanged for long to the point that opinions are now tagged reviews. |
What the person above me said. Unless it's Infinix note 7, any Tecno/Infinix or worse itel device someone should recommend to you for gaming doesn't want you to have a rest of mind. Only way is to get the used LG device or pray you get a really good deal. After all, someone got an Mi A3 for 50k or so. |
fact45:When they release another phone with "big battery" or Android 11 out-of-box, that wiseness will vanish into thin air. |
fact45:Yet some people will come and be justifying it. |
omotoyecable:Just sideload the app. You'll have to search for the one that'll work for your device on Google. Only version that'll work is 4.2 below. Any higher from version 5 to 7.4 won't work cos your device architecture is 32-bit. Meaning if you want higher version, you need to flash a 64-bit ROM. |
skywalker240:They won't last if they keep believing their target audience will remain in the stone age forever. |
sunshineV:It's only GSI that'll work proper without a one-way trip to brickland. The guy matter sometimes dey tire me. Some days him dey make sense, other days I dey wonder if na him dey type. |
What I read minutes back goes to show you know nothing about custom ROMs. The so-called disadvantages you listed are mostly untrue. The data loss is same as performing a factory reset, vulnerabilities no cos they come with security patches, something your precious Tecno finds very hard to roll out. Hell LineageOS comes with an option for OTA (don't know if that's still happening). If anything, hios is locked down with useless features that the device doesn't necessarily need, taking up unnecessary space and straining the old SoC commonly found in the devices you mentioned. In other words - first thing every Tecno user should be doing is look for a way to get rid of hios or use a launcher |
Guy if you don't see any in-depth review about the TV apart from price and 4k (it's not a true 4k TV), you're better off going for other brands. But you can buy it and drop reviews here ![]() |
chizzily:My advice is you take it back to the store you bought it and swap it for whatever device you want. |
If I were you, I'll return the laptop. Ignore anyone saying you should upgrade the RAM o, even if you have money to waste. Return it and look for another seller that'll give you what you wanted or better yet, go to a physical store n buy. |
Came here expecting review. Saw something else. chizzily:MIUI not smooth? Lady, my past experience with MIUI is more than smooth. Poor UI You didn't wait to get acquainted with MIUI...chizzily:What apps did you try to open? You sure you weren't shooting in HDR mode? What were you expecting it to be? As light as a feather?? What I'm seeing is you bought the device cos others were buying and since you're in new territory, instead of exploring and asking questions, you decide to call it quits. Unless it's a defective product, I'd say you return it and get another/change it before selling it if it's truly defective. Happy sales, you'll definitely see buyers. |
sunshineV:All guilty in their own way but MTN dey look for ways to collect more money. |
This life no balance at all |
PrettyMuchNoOne:When I saw the news for the 5G roadmap, I weak. But what'll piss me off is if MTN comes and say we need to upgrade SIM for 5G like they did 4G. |
edoairways:What I mean is the data will stack but the date will be a fresh month starting from recent purchase. If what you're saying is he needs another 10Gb for it to stack/rollover, you're wrong. I rolled over a 3Gb plan with a 9Gb plan when I came to Lagos before the lockdown proper, previous plan didn't expire. As long as the main data is left, it will rollover. What changed is the date of the plan reflect the current purchase expiry date. But if that's what you're experiencing, prolly someone at MTN carry your matter for head. |
edoairways:He doesn't have to buy another 10Gb data plan. If he buys any plan (day, week or month), the expiry date will be added to the existing one. What won't work is the binge plans. Those one got a separate expiry date. |
Ordinary 4G but we no go hear word again ![]() |
edoairways:Wow..... Just wow ![]()

Fastestmanalive:It will handle them wella. Note that PUBG highest frame rate will be 40fps (ultra setting), though longer gameplays on PUBG would affect performance. Smooth+ultra is the way to go but you can crank up the frame rate to extreme with gfx tool. |
Fastestmanalive:Mi note 10 Mi note 10 lite Mi note 10 pro Poco X2 Realme X2 They're way above your budget. But first, what kind of games you play? Resource demanding ones or the casual one. If it's resource demanding ones, your budget won't be enough to give you smooth gameplay for longer sessions, the Realme 3 pro you mentioned is okay. If it's casual play or you play demanding games for a short time, go for any device with SD 665 above. You could get used devices with SD 845, like LG V40 with that budget but that's up to you to decide. |
seunmueezz:If his money reach the 8Pro |
Fastestmanalive:Realme 3 pro is a good option but with the latest phones out here, I wouldn't recommend it. Your target should be a device with the 730G chipset or a note 8 pro. Though the note 8 pro for that price will be used one cos prices have increased |
chefremy:Version 6.1, 7.0 and 7.2 are there na... Don't go and download a higher version that'll give you headache |
alphaNomega:What's responsible for the final effects of an image is done by an AI or software in the camera app, not the camera lens alone. The AI does most of the work. It fine tunes the image, applies a better dynamic range, reduces noise, color reproduction almost same as what you saw or make you make it pop, etc. The final results from using Gcam can sometimes be breathtaking, you'd doubt if it was taken from your device if it's your first rodeo with Gcam and anyone who sees it and doesn't know about Gcam will automatically assume it was taken from an iPhone ![]() With Gcam camera algorithms, there's an improvement in the photos taken, making it close to looking like it was taken from a flagship device if you use a budget or mid-range device but bear in mind that the better the lens, the better the photos. Using Gcam in a device that rarely gets software updates is a big bonus, as it'll still make the images better cos it's got its own software to process the images. If you want more info about what I said, drop by here https://www.nairaland.com/5997122/what-computational-photography#91801760 |
alphaNomega:Just a camera app Two words : computational photography. |
sacajawea:Say 100k or so, I'm not current on their prices. |
overdrive:Naija no dey carry last at all |
sacajawea:Other tabs that can rival the current iPad and last gen ones haven't been made yet. The advancements made on the iPad is years ahead of what any brand can offer as at now. |

You didn't wait to get acquainted with MIUI...
