There is no need for fasting and prayer.
All that is needed is to tell him to resign and go for medical help.

It seems so now, otherwise, they wont be begging the crooks in the creeks to accept amnesty. tongue

Guy, the militants can never be stronger than the military because they are not trained and can be outnumbered. It will not take the military a week to level all the creeks in that region if the orders are given.
Extending amnesty to them is just a political game from the govt.

Islam for Muslims / Re: Islam And My Profession - I Need Help by kshow1(m): 5:35pm On Jun 22, 2009
javalove:

Salam Alykun

I opened up this thread so that we can discuss how affects what we do to earn a living.

I have a little problem

My company (Jajitech) has just been called for a contract by a company. This company deals in TV game shows(sports) where users from all over Nigeria can participate by sending text messages and at the end of the day, a winner is announced.

My task here is just to create a software that queries all the people that have participated and randomly pick a winner.

Please, I am sooooooooooo confused now as alot of money is involved and is it Islamic.

I have read somewhere that I can write the software for them that its Halal but i need more explainations and clearifications.

E sa nu mi . . e jooooo grin grin grin grin grin

Alot of money is involved as in how ?
Is islam against making money in Business  ?
Why is your organiosation in business ?

sowura:

it is true that God comes first in everything, but Nigerians should stop calling God with every little excuse they get, the simple truth is that God has already told us that stand up and i will help you. God will never come down to help us that is why he has given us eyes to see bad governmnet, ears to hear, mouth to talk, and brain to think. this in addition to other parts of the body that he bestowed on us free of charge and we still want God to come and help us. we will contimue to get the government that we deserve.

True talk my brother. We may not move forward because everybody in Nigeria is waiting for God to come down and solve our problem.

Nairaland / General / Re: Eiye Confraternity Celebrates 40 Yrs Of Committing Atrocities In Nigeria by kshow1(m): 2:40pm On Jun 18, 2009
biina:

Bloody criminals have the gall to be celebrating an anniversary
Cultism, like armed robbery and man slaughter, should be punishable by death. angry

The people who formed this confraternity in 1969 never knew it will be bastardise like this so i think it will be unfair if we now call the founders names.
Note that you cannot call Prof. Wole Soyinka names simply for the fact that he was part of the founding member of the pyrate confraternity (PC).
Politics / Re: Plane Load Of Arms Impounded At Kano Airport. by kshow1(m): 2:16pm On Jun 18, 2009
Whether its meant for MEND or Hisbau, the fact that arms are inflitrating into the country should be enough concern for the government.
