i use 4names on my docs, waec selected 3 and used only the 1st letter of the 4th name, i got a confirmation of name affidavit and completed my 4th name, i was almost logged out but i was cleared

Erm,did you upload the affidavit under evidence of name when you were doing your online clearance?

Did you also go to the auditorium with the affidavit alongside ur docs and showed it to the clearance officer?

You said you were almost logged out,what changed thier mind? Which faculty are you under.

Sorry for too many questions,but will appreciate if you can answer them. I have a similar issue,so iam just trying to gather as much info as possible. Thanks

Well..the officer's nice, but u go meet one old man...he appears to be always smiling...but he's the reason I'm not yet cleared!

Very sluggish..he appears to be lost with the computer...It took him 8 hours (yes! I'm not exaggerating) to log me out to reupload my files in .jpeg format!

And he happens to be the oga of the 3 men there.. So...

I know say na wetin dey jamb go show for kofa. So dem even give you correction form fill na in you dey here dey draw mata as if na another thing. You go like drama sha.

I just want to entreat that you speed up the rate at which you deliver verdicts in order for it not be torpid. .
And I may not tag you to every battle due to negligence or prolly cos work kept me offline, but you can also help out by perusing the section for brawls that haven't been judged yet.. It works better that way, for all of us.. .

Iam very busy these days and the tag saves me the stress of scrolling through different threads in search of brawls. I think the problem lies in the fact that this section is scanty.

so its for them to change it back to the full name ...with the other ish about Waec certificate)

Meet your principal again and tell her that your admission is on the line(which aint true though)because you are yet to get your cert from them.

If its out,she go give you. If not,tell her make she write letter addressing your clearance officer on the issue. It should be typed and stamped.

pls my pipo. i hv taken ur advice to swear affidavit for my name error which was "Otasowie Jonathan endurance" instead of "Jonathan otasowie endurance" i hv done my online clearance nd i uploaded d affidavit of correction of name too. my fear now is, if maybe those clearance officers didnt see d error but due to dat affidavit i uploaded they might see it nd start asking questions which may bring to their knowledge the error.
my fear now is that i dont knw wat to say if maybe the error is seen. because going to neco for correction is not rili an easy task... please ur say is needed. cos i still dey fear. my physical clearance was actually 20th october but art clearance officer hasn't been around nd we were told to com back on Thursday 22nd October which is tomorrow

Dont worry. Your own no be problem. The clearance officer will tell you what to do. That column for evidence of name affidavit was put there cos thousands of students have such little errors on their certificates. Like I said, yours no be problem. Just chillax. Na me when dey omit one letter for im surname suppose dey worry if person wan worry sef but iam relaxed cos the clearance officer knows what to do.

On a normal day, I would have said "no hope" but having heard of people whose not admitted changed to admitted, i can say there is a glimmer of hope, though little.

Its hard, very hard and I know how it feels, but start accepting the reality of the situation. Start accepting that you might have to write another jamb. That way, when your status miraculously changes to admitted, the joy will be to overwhelming to contain but if it doesn't, you wont be that hurt cos you accepted the reality of the situation before hand. Good luck bro.

Yes. They would have given me mine that day if I came before 12oclock. Thats what they said.

I went there on a friday and submitted the documents I told you earlier on about and collected it on Monday around 11am.

I dont know if Asaba office assigns dates fpr collection base on the year the exam was written but kano office didn't mention any thing about it so I suspect Asaba might be same.

I too was surprised that an affidavit like that existed not until I got mine from the court..

One more thing, make sure you have your online print out of the result cos the affidavit has this space provided for your papers and grade. Waec office will also collect the print out.

Ok.. You ll get that from the state you wrote the exam in. Remember to go with an affidavit of collection of result, one passport and 2k.

I ll try my best not to state the year but from what I heard, it takes about 3yrs, in some cases,4yrs for it to be out. Do the math and pick any year going downward.

The important ones are ready which is my waec and neco cos I dey use two sittings. Na one winch like that for our village mark my English, so I gats mix results like rice and beans. But I was disappointed sha, I dnt know if the error was on my part or the fact that my surname almost has the whole 26 alphabets(edo pipu and long names sha ), but dem omit one letter from my surname in one of my results. I don already collect original so going to neco for correction is not an option I even want to think about.

I just dey wait for wetin my clearance officer go talk that day. If he tells me to go to neco for correction, I go just tell am for there "oga thank you. Una fit keep the admission. I no want again. People wey learn work never die".
