No, you need to get up and take part in your democratic process.

You also need to stop demanding free stuff
Have you noticed that we are still grappling with basic infrastructure like Power,Roads,Rail, Health care and basic social services Education, Security etc since independence.
Our pair countries like Brazil, Pakistan, Malaysia etc have all gone past these development indexes.
Nigeria is currently swimming in the ocean of debt in which corruption is a major contributing factor and I can almost certainly say that 50% if the money borrowed will go to few pockets.

Sometimes,I feel we may do better if North and south go their separate ways.

China is a capitalist economy with a quasi communist government.

When they were practicing pure communism, they were broker than Sierra Leone.

In 1979, they woke up, and allowed the capitalists to set up. That's why they are prosperous

Plus they value technical and vocational education. Not like Nigeria
That's what I am talking about.
Democracy as practiced in Africa has failed to bring development and a corrupt free society.
Africa needs to go back to the drawing board and create a special brand of democracy that will suit us.I watched a wattspp video by one Ghanian pastor. His suggestion was that Africa should step aside democracy for 25 years.Hr said gvt should come up through appointment which should rotate btw the major parties not more 2 or 3.And he said it should be guided by national development plan which should strictly be followed.

let me make some revelations because some of us also have our own intelligence networks. I have met with some of the bandits, we have met with some of their high commanders. One or two who have repented. They have sat down with us, not once, not twice.

They told us that one of the northern governors is the commander of Boko Haram in Nigeria. Boko Haram and the Bandits are one and the same thing. They have a sophisticated network. during this lockdown there Planes were moving up and down as though there was no lock down. Moving ammunitions, money, logistics and distributing them in different part of the country. They are already in the south. In the rain forest of the south. They are everywhere. They told us that when they finish this rural killings, they will move to phase 2.

In the Phase 2, they will go into the urban cities, going from house to house killing prominent people. I can tell you, this is the game plan. By 2022, they want to start a civil war in Nigeria. Don't joke with what I am saying you. I have a PHD from Oxford university. I am a central banker, we don't talk nonsense. So don't joke with what I am telling you. --- Obadiah Mailafia
I am impressed that you linked BH and Bandits.A lot of us the good Muslims are worried the way Islam is being accused for all the killings in the north. Most people do not know that the good Muslims are the largest casualties in these carnage. Most times I feel pained when all these happened and the other sides accuse Islam.Every killing by herdsmen, armed men, bandits etc is always linked to Islam which is not right. The only time you see good Muslims exhibit real Islam is the UK and American Muslims.Little wonder, they keep getting new reverts over there.

The hypocrisy & dishonesty of
the Hausa Fulani are catching up
with them.

They are quick to use Shari'a to
kill Christians or poor Muslims who
they accuse of so-called blasphemy.

Yet they are afraid of using the same Shari'a
on bandits, marauders & killers who
operate freely & openly across their
barren desert lands.

Its good their wicked elites are now
harvesting what they cultivated.
I am impressed by your write up, because it did not attack Islam as most people always do, but the northern leaders.
It is now I am seeing the Sense from Theophilus Danjumas statement during the continuous attack on his village people.

I salute the North Koreans for this bold step taken.
And that's why America now scared of going close to them.
India used to harass Pakistan decade ago not knowing Pakistan was secretly working on her Nukes. The day Pakistan launched her weapons was the day India stopped harassing them. And that was the day peace came to that region.
Now that Nkorea has these weapons,no super power will dare attack them else both countries will go into ashes.

Nigeria has so many sovereign cases pending against her.
They were all based on poor understanding of the contractual terms by our officials.
Recently,we heard of the controversies in the china loans gotten by the fed gvt which were mainly on poor understanding and implications if the loan terms are breached.
Most times,I wonder if these were done by our officials deliberately to steal Money.
PoliticsRe: Ibrahim Babangida Laughing At Mamman Vatsa's Wedding In The 60s (photo) by Kubernetes: 7:19pm On Aug 17, 2020
Vatsa was childhood friends with Ibrahim Babangida and both men were peers who attended the same educational institutions. Like Babangida, Vatsa attended the Government College Bida from 1957 to 1962 and started his career with the Nigerian Army by enrolling in the Nigerian Military Training College (NMTC) on 10 December 1962.

Vatsa served as Commandant of the Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI) 1979 to 1983. He developed the Special Warfare Wing and established the doctrinal basis for the establishment of the 82nd Composite Division of the Nigerian Army in Enugu, he was instrumental in naming the Division "82nd Div" after the 82nd West African Division in Burma.During the latter part of President Shehu Shagari's government, Vatsa was appointed Quarter-Master General (QMG), the post he held until the coup of December 1983.
He was on leave during the Buhari coup against Shagari and did not take part.

In 1981, when Cameroon soldiers shot and killed five Nigerian soldiers in the disputed Bakassi area, then Brigadier Vatsa was named the Commander of the Joint Military Task Force during the massive border mobilization along the entire length of the Nigeria-Cameroon border. Vatsa developed the operational plan of attack through Garoua in northern Cameroon, which was approved in principle by the National Defence Council, pending the outcome of diplomatic efforts to resolve the crisis.

During the 27 August 1985 Babangida take-over, General Vatsa was in Mecca with Major General Tunde Idiagbon on pilgrimage. As of the time of his arrest in December 1985 on suspicion of conspiracy to commit treason, he was the Federal Minister for the Federal Capital Territory. He was a member of the AFRC, Federal Executive Council and occasionally, the National Council of States, the only military officer, other than the C-in-C, to be a member of all three ruling bodies.

On 5 March 1986, he was executed by the military regime of General Ibrahim Babangida (who was his childhood friend) following a military tribunal conviction for treason associated with an abortive coup

Many Northern Muslims who are supporting death penalty for the singer are not in anyway better than Boko Haram.
Many of them will join boko Haram if they have the opportunity to.
If they can be happy with death sentence for that young man because of blasphemy then they are covertly supporting Boko Haram and killer herdsmen that are killing Southern Kaduna people (Christians) because they believe they are fighting Jihad which main aim is elimination of 'non believers' and 'infidels'

As a matter of fact I am sorry to say that many Muslims have given me the impression that Islam supports violence and almost every Muslim has the spirit of fanatism in them including the Muslims who are not Northerners.

Even Shekau get sense pass Bashir Ahmad
who was also supporting death penalty for blasphemy.

Islam is indeed a religion of p....
Why on Earth will the singer decide to insult the prophet? Is it to make name?
But then,he knew doing such will lead to outrage by Muslims. He also knew that the purnishment of doing such is death but yet he went ahead. Is that not stupid and foolish?I am sad that people are taking side with a person that knew doing something is bad,but yet he did it.
Heardsmen and bandits have been killing people in katsina,Niger and sokoto all this while.People did not see it as jihad, but when it's now Kaduna, funnily it's called jihad.
It's good we separate criminals from Islam. When criminals kills in the north,it's called jihad and Islam is taking the blame. But when criminals kills in the south,it's different thing.
We should learn to distinguish btw criminality and blaming religion
