Goodvibes8: There’s a new Apple Store situated around ikeja, they strictly deals on Apple products only and they needed an accountant, the salary is quite good… so a good friend of mine sent me a link that I should apply for the job since I have Bsc in accounting, then I applied.
Yesterday I received an Email from the Apple Store stating that I wasn’t up to the criteria due to my class of degree. I felt disappointed but life goes on.
I just screenshot the mail and send it to my friend and he said he wasn’t aware that there was a specific class of degree ( minimum of 2:2) to apply for the job. He cheers me up and told me better days ahead.
Though I’ve a job currently but the Apple Store is willing to pay x 2 of my current salary. I won’t lie I felt so devastated.

Authorities believe that Marleny's social media post, where she taunted Bernardo's enemies for not taking action against him, provided a crucial clue to the attackers. In her post, she wrote, "My bd got the weakest opps he just keep coming home alive & untouched. Ain't he snitch on half of yall, ain't he 'rob' half of yall. Anyways he is not located in 4250 N Kimball, I repeat, he is not."
This brazen message appears to have directly led to Bernardo's location being exposed to those with ill intent. Police are treating the case as a targeted attack, fueled by personal disputes.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the murder.
EmekaStanley: Lately I have been seeing lots of parrots videos on my fyp on TikTok, especially the talking ones. I found it so cute and amazing.
This afternoon on my way back to the office, I saw a guy selling these parrots, na so I call am, bought the parrots, 2-in-1 for that matter.
Getting to the office, as a new and first time pet owner, I was excited.
I noticed that if I tried to to get close to the parrots via the cage, they turned their backs especially the smaller one.
I didn't know what prompted me to try bringing the birds out from the cage with my hands, one of the birds grabbed my finger with it's beak and bit me real hard.
It gave a cut that bled more than I'll ever imagine.
Long story short, I just told my office assistant to carry the birds to her house. I no do pet owner again.
Imagine if this had bitten any of my kids.
Same day I owned a pet, same day I became petless.

A moral police on social media has called out Herbert Wigwe's oldest daughter for not standing to greet the Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima.
The user shared a photo of Tochi Wigwe sitting while accepting a handshake from Shettima during one of the events organised to mourn Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba Wigwe, and their son Chizzy Wigwe who died in a helicopter crash. He then shared photos of former VP Yemi Osinbajo and businessman Aliko Dangote standing to shake hands with Shettima.
He wrote: “Same Man, different regard. Whoever that girl is,she lacks proper home training. You don't shake a person old enough to be your father while seating down.”
A couple of other social media users from the North also berated the grieving daughter.

The deal was signed in Enugu at the launching of company's engine oil with top executives of the company in attendance.
Speaking at the unveiling of the product, the Managing Director, 9th Integrated Energy Solutions Limited, Engr. Benjamin Okechukwu said the event was to officially unveil Pete Edochie as the brand ambassador of Rowe Oil Nigeria.
Represented by his Managing Director during the unveiling, the Chairman of 9th Integrated Energy Solution and CEO Rowe Oil Nig, Chukwudi Nnaji well known as Onwa Igwurubeze said the endorsement deal will run for two years and it is renewable.
"We believe the deal is for a lifetime considering Pete’s age and we believe in the entire Africa not only Nigeria even beyond the shores of Africa that he is the most reputable movie star at present and because of the impeccability of his character and integrity. It is a multimillion naira deal because we know his value and the value of the oil and we are glad we did the deal," he said.
He continued: "9th Integrated Energy Solution is the company that brought Rowe Oil into Africa starting from Nigeria. We owned the franchise for the whole of Africa and Rowe Oil is a German Premium Oil. Our product comes with a seal and we have specific distributors who supply the product to the general public, it is not a product you can just find at any outlet.
Commenting on the endorsement deal, Pete Edochie expressed gladness as he was made the brand ambassador of Rowe Oil.
"I have never been associated with any scandal which is why people look for me when they have beautiful products and that is why I am here and glad to be made the brand ambassador of Rowe Oil. There are so many reasons why this product is very unique. Ordinarily, anybody who has used a vehicle for a long time would agree with me that the noise of your car is always the template to check the life of your engine and the life of your engine can only be sustained by the choice of oil with which you lubricate the said engine. We said that Nigerians have come of age and it is about time we got introduced to things that are modern and scientific,"Edochie said.

After the expiration of two years and they still want me as a brand ambassador I will sign another deal and make them pay better."
Speaking on the company's product, Okechukwu said: "I would say that presently we have five categories of oil for every car. There is what we call the oil finder in our system whereby when you come to our service center or any of our branches, all you need to tell us is the name of the car, engine, and year and we will provide you with the specific oil for the car.
