Goodvibes8: There’s a new Apple Store situated around ikeja, they strictly deals on Apple products only and they needed an accountant, the salary is quite good… so a good friend of mine sent me a link that I should apply for the job since I have Bsc in accounting, then I applied.
Yesterday I received an Email from the Apple Store stating that I wasn’t up to the criteria due to my class of degree. I felt disappointed but life goes on.
I just screenshot the mail and send it to my friend and he said he wasn’t aware that there was a specific class of degree ( minimum of 2:2) to apply for the job. He cheers me up and told me better days ahead.
Though I’ve a job currently but the Apple Store is willing to pay x 2 of my current salary. I won’t lie I felt so devastated.

Gistmedia10: A 25-year-old Bernardo Romero was brutally murdered on Sunday afternoon, March 17, in Chicago. The incident occurred shortly after his baby mama, Marleny Janet Romero, shared his location on social media in a chilling post mocking his enemies.
Authorities believe that Marleny's social media post, where she taunted Bernardo's enemies for not taking action against him, provided a crucial clue to the attackers. In her post, she wrote, "My bd got the weakest opps he just keep coming home alive & untouched. Ain't he snitch on half of yall, ain't he 'rob' half of yall. Anyways he is not located in 4250 N Kimball, I repeat, he is not."
This brazen message appears to have directly led to Bernardo's location being exposed to those with ill intent. Police are treating the case as a targeted attack, fueled by personal disputes.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the murder.
EmekaStanley: Lately I have been seeing lots of parrots videos on my fyp on TikTok, especially the talking ones. I found it so cute and amazing.
This afternoon on my way back to the office, I saw a guy selling these parrots, na so I call am, bought the parrots, 2-in-1 for that matter.
Getting to the office, as a new and first time pet owner, I was excited.
I noticed that if I tried to to get close to the parrots via the cage, they turned their backs especially the smaller one.
I didn't know what prompted me to try bringing the birds out from the cage with my hands, one of the birds grabbed my finger with it's beak and bit me real hard.
It gave a cut that bled more than I'll ever imagine.
Long story short, I just told my office assistant to carry the birds to her house. I no do pet owner again.
Imagine if this had bitten any of my kids.
Same day I owned a pet, same day I became petless.

A moral police on social media has called out Herbert Wigwe's oldest daughter for not standing to greet the Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima.
The user shared a photo of Tochi Wigwe sitting while accepting a handshake from Shettima during one of the events organised to mourn Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba Wigwe, and their son Chizzy Wigwe who died in a helicopter crash. He then shared photos of former VP Yemi Osinbajo and businessman Aliko Dangote standing to shake hands with Shettima.
He wrote: “Same Man, different regard. Whoever that girl is,she lacks proper home training. You don't shake a person old enough to be your father while seating down.”
A couple of other social media users from the North also berated the grieving daughter.
However, many defended her.

chuxxjr: Veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie has landed an endorsement deal worth millions of naira with Rowe Oil company for the nationwide promotion of the company's product.
The deal was signed in Enugu at the launching of company's engine oil with top executives of the company in attendance.
Speaking at the unveiling of the product, the Managing Director, 9th Integrated Energy Solutions Limited, Engr. Benjamin Okechukwu said the event was to officially unveil Pete Edochie as the brand ambassador of Rowe Oil Nigeria.
Represented by his Managing Director during the unveiling, the Chairman of 9th Integrated Energy Solution and CEO Rowe Oil Nig, Chukwudi Nnaji well known as Onwa Igwurubeze said the endorsement deal will run for two years and it is renewable.
"We believe the deal is for a lifetime considering Pete’s age and we believe in the entire Africa not only Nigeria even beyond the shores of Africa that he is the most reputable movie star at present and because of the impeccability of his character and integrity. It is a multimillion naira deal because we know his value and the value of the oil and we are glad we did the deal," he said.
He continued: "9th Integrated Energy Solution is the company that brought Rowe Oil into Africa starting from Nigeria. We owned the franchise for the whole of Africa and Rowe Oil is a German Premium Oil. Our product comes with a seal and we have specific distributors who supply the product to the general public, it is not a product you can just find at any outlet.
Commenting on the endorsement deal, Pete Edochie expressed gladness as he was made the brand ambassador of Rowe Oil.
"I have never been associated with any scandal which is why people look for me when they have beautiful products and that is why I am here and glad to be made the brand ambassador of Rowe Oil. There are so many reasons why this product is very unique. Ordinarily, anybody who has used a vehicle for a long time would agree with me that the noise of your car is always the template to check the life of your engine and the life of your engine can only be sustained by the choice of oil with which you lubricate the said engine. I was with my close friend yesterday evening. While we were chilling together, a call came in on his phone. it was his cousin that called telling what had happened and also seeking his advice. Now this is what happened, this his cousin has been dating this lady for about a year I think and he has already proposed to her and even took her to his parents and siblings. He also visited the lady family and did some introduction. Now April this year has been chosen for the wedding ceremony proper and a date has been fixed. This is where trouble started.
My friend cousin created a WhatsApp group for his wedding ceremony, he added all his friends and some of his classmates to this group so they can join hands and make his wedding day memorable. Young Miss Amara Ezenwoye, younger sister to Esther Nwankwo is full of happiness following a giant academic accomplishment.
She has just concluded a Masters Degree in Strategic and Digital Marketing at the University of South Wales in the United Kingdom. With a grand convocation ceremony with other graduands at the institution's assembly hall.
Taking to the social media to announce the huge academic milestone, she said, "It took me years of sacrifice, pain, tears and patience to get here.
"A lot of people mocked me, some never believed, others were waiting for me to fail.
"I can be many things but when it comes to my goals, I do not relent. I did it".
The young mother has been in the UK in the past couple of years and decided to further her studies.
She had her first degree at National Open University ( NOUN). She was passionate in modeling while growing up and went ahead to contest a number of pageant shows.
Her graduation ceremony in UK witnessed a large turn out of family members, including her elder sister Peace Ezenwoye and her mother Mrs Immaculate Ezenwoye. The graduand also had her daughter in attendance.
While celebrating her giant strides as she was called on to receive her certificate, she displayed amazing and arresting model walk that shows a charisma of a veteran in the beauty and pageant industry in Africa and beyond.
Her sister's husband has since congratulated the sister-in-law, an entrepreneur for the academic feat, praying for God's favour upon her.
He applauded her for being hard working and committed to her dreams. He noted that despite the challenge of having to be a single mother, Amara pursued her dream vigorously till she actualized it.
