I'm helping my mom for her dropbox. I have successfully filled and printed her ds160 confirmation page. The person that filled her last application is unavailable and i can't reach him and I wouldn't know the email and password the person use. I have tried using my email address which I used to fill her ds 160 to log in at appointment site without success. Please, good people in the house, how do I move on from here. Many thanks.

My uncle intends inviting my mum (his sister) and a retired nurse to the US in October for his wifes post natal care after his wifes delivery same October.

What are the necessary steps to be taken. My uncle is asking me from the US how to go about it. He has been in the US for 20yrs now through visa lottery.

I want to take my mum to get her international passport first. What are the following procedures to embark on after that? Thank you fam in anticipation of your favourable responses

I was denied a us visa in 2014 and I want to make a few changes in my reapplication such as income and My new job . I put my gross income in my previous application, can I put the new income in the new application.

You can change d ds160 number yourself now from update profile and print out a new appointment confirmation immediately

hello house i need help i didn't Finished filling my ds 160 only copied my confirmation number and quickly used that in processing my appointment so as to get a good date,

eventually couldn't get a good date so i applied for expedite appointment now it has been approved and appointment date changed.

so i wanted to login back into my ds 160 to get all done but couldn't gain access showing the following :

Surname does not match.
Year of Birth does not match.
The answer for the security question is incorrect.

so i think my best option is filling another ds160 now i cant cancel and rebook appointment as it can only be done twice.

please what can i do so that my appointment confirmation can carry my new DS160 Confirmation number?

i know i can update profile on appointment booking portal but dont know if that will make things work fine.


please help is needed on what to do.

Hello my Padis please I need someone to look into this for me. I have tried applying for a F1 visa in 2001 and got denied 3 times so I gave up and went to school here. So I graduated n now I work with Procter and Gamble here in Ibadan. I'm a technical officer. I am married with 1year old baby girl. My sister families are living in the US and a lawful citizens . She invited us to come over in march for Easter so we applied in Lagos but got denied and the reason is that my wife was shaking and haven't gone for any interview before but she works in the bank ATM. So I knew maybe that's y he denied us so I am thinking of applying again around Christmas. So anyone can give us any tips and solution to get this. Her sister sent us a copy of her pay stub and front page of her American passport and even an invitation letter. The consular didn't ask questions before he denied us so I knew maybe because my wife was jittery so idk if Christmas is a good time for us to apply again or nxt year. Thank you guys. Truly i've not been a fan of 'Travel' section of NL, and i've not done my research personally.
I'm a final year students of unilorin, about starting 2nd sem exam, when i was called by my big Sis who gave me the update 2days ago, that i will go and later come back for my NYSC, going there to work.
Out of curiosity i asked those questions here, my sis wont like it if i ask for the contact of our in-law overseas who know someone, at an early stage, that is why i brought my curiosity here.
I hope we all get my point sirs

i won't mind helping those that may be having issues getting Visa in the future, just a newbie for now.

Hello! Wonderful people. Plesse I need your experience on this, I am going to the US on F1visa with grandma on B1B2. I know it's no p for me to buy one way ticket. Can I get one way ticket for grandma too as we don't want her to travel alone. We are Planing she returns with any of our friends coming home for Christmas then we Will get another ticket that will tally with that of any of friend coming home. Please will one way ticket be an issue for my grandma at the port of entry..... Thanks for your response in advance

Thanks everyone for setting me on the right track but something else is on my mind, my cousin with same surname is the one am planing to stay with for a few days and though he have the green card now, i suspect he came in years back on a tourist visa and blended in.

I applied for a us visa last month, for an internship program with the UN.b1visa type was recommended by UN on my visa recommendation letter...after few weeks of waiting(administrative processing) i was told by the embassy to apply for a G visa and get a dip note from my Host organization..

Hello All and the experts in the house,

I want say you all are doing a great job and more strength to your elbow.

I intend applying for a visa to attend a conference in Houston Texas soon and he is applying soon, the person in question has gotten the letter needed from the organizer to apply for non immigrant visa at the USA embassy.

My question: He is yet to pay for the conference but has gotten letter to apply and the organizer said payment can be made on arrival, please what is the chances as against registering and paying before applying for visa?

I was advice to proceed,but what if the VO ask for an evidence of payment for the conference.
I want to be careful,please advise.

attached is the letter from the conference organizer and its in my field i am a Facility Manager.

I will appreciate all advice that will aid the success of getting my visa.
