Pls what wrong have i done to USA embassy in Nigeria? They have refused my application for 8 times with same reason same law 214b. Since 2011 till date. I do not know what else to do to

eradicate their issue and do not know theor issue with. Pls who can help with better advice? Been to UK and several other countries

Submitted their application online on the Fri 13th oct
Biometric request mail received on Sat 14th Oct
Biometric done on Mon !6th Oct
Passport request email received Fri 1st Nov! (what a wonderful way to start the month Thanks be to God)

Their Canada application is first time app and the passport request was sent exactly 2 weeks after their bio-metric was done as the letter was dated 31st oct

Hello house, My interview is next week but i have some questions for a friend dt just got her visa. She stated while filling d DS 160 form dt she would be traveling on d 23rd of December and also with her mom. But now, one thing has led to another and she won't be able to travel on dt 23rd, now postponed till next year and also her mom won't be traveling with her again due to some health complications. Please my friend would like to know if these two issues won't be a problem at the point of entry over there when she finally travels to usa, texas to be precise. Please answer. Thanks much.

Not at all, plans can change be ready to explain why both of u are not travelling whenever any/either of you get to POE.

Omo i no send o, i was just wakaing and pass becos i was just interested in the OP adventures and notin more, even when he mentioned credit card i didnt even read that part per say, i just brushed through to he next event and even he didnt dwell much on the topic too. Moreso i dont dig credits personally, i like to live within my means and affords.

This THIRD application, my Swedish girl was with me in Naija then, I nearly carry am go interview oh but for the restraining rules against such, I went alone...omor the rejection was quicker than the others, at about 6days we proceeded for an appeal at the embassy, she had to leave for Sweden because the appeal was taking forever omor I felt like locking myself in her bag and moving with her nothing spoil sha...The result of the appeal came within two months: another REJECTION! that’s number FOUR REJECTION By this time, I started getting closer to God oh, because the matter don burst With fasting and prayers, I went for the FIFTH APPLICATION, the gatemen at the embassy of Sweden started trolling me: “bros you don come again?, nawa oh, nor be by force to go Europe na”....this people nor know say I be dead, when it comes to determination...comments please!!!!

Omo na wa o only you!, but really truth is sweden in recent times have been refusing plp visa even those who are well qualified. But as at around late 1990s and early 2000, it was very issue to enter sweden like say you dey go yaba, their sch fees was totally free and they wanted int students like bad. But all that change now infact apart from portugal, sweden is the next toughest schengel visa to get. Germany is still the easiest for now

Ponzi runs don dey fail, MMM don hang unlucky people bar, I was smart to make my money early enough and pull out when it was weakening...My Swedish babe sent me an invitation letter and I proceeded to Abuja to pay all fees and run the whole visa thing myself...I had a godmother who packaged my account, I had around 2.5M then, she really packaged this application for me in such a way that I was nearly overconfident, I attached pictures of me and my Swedish babe too..just everything for a 2weeks trip to Sweden, I actually planned on coming back and not running away.. about 2weeks later, I got an email from the Swedish embassy stating this: “Your intention to leave the territory of Schengen could not be ascertained from your application” FIRST DENIAL! being a dogged person, i reapplied again, this time with a letter from my babe’s family, my own family, and the company I was with then, this SECOND denial scatter my head again! I gave them a break for about 6months, my Swedish babe visited Naija again, being a sharp guy I took her to the embassy and told her to explain the situation to them....

It doesnt matter, I just renewed my niece's and nephews 2nd usa visa via dropbox with their mum, the oldest is my niece who is just 13 years only, just that she was called for interview. I had earlier told their mum that its not a problem that probably they were recalled for interview because of the youngest child because for finger print (i taught as much; i was almost right) because I had a lot of challenge uploading his passport photo so i assumed that might be the issue moreso he was still very young when they had their 1st visas.

Although, two days after the application when I was tracking the status on their portal it stated schedule interview so I went ahead to schedule the interview, then i went on the 3rd day to pick up their passport but was told that only the girl and her mum's was ready that I could pick those up then come back by the 5th day for the boys but because I had just a copy of the signed proxy letter and I didnt have the time to go get another signed one, I decided to return the following week to pickup all the passports together.

Their mum and the boys were all granted 2years visa but there was a slip in my niece's her passport requesting for interview schedule and a small sticker note was pasted on her passport with FP written on it. The mum took her for the interview and all they did was get her finger print and asked her if she enjoyed her last trip and the mum was asked to pick up her passport in 3 days time at muri okunola.

That's it, not a probs at all.

Hello house. Please can someone going for a wedding in the US stay beyond what she stated in her form during interview.

that is let's say stated 15 days in her DS160, can she decide to stay longer than that? say, 2-3months, and book her return flight for that long. If yes. Hope it will not cause any problem for her at the POE.

As a first timer, booking that long flight duration may affect her at POE except she is a senior. Staying longer than your proposed DS160 duration is not really a problem so long she didnt stay beyond 6mths and she didnt abuse the condition of her visa

On your interview schedule portal you will find feedback or so by the list of option on the left hand side of the portal. Click on it this will take you to a page where you can state your complaint.

What went wrong? My husband went on that trip alone, spent 12days as planned and came back. I applied again with my sons n our interview is next week, what are our chances? Myself n 2kids ll be Travelling with hubby for just 10days.

I guess the VO thought that your financial capacity/economic ties is questionable and probably you are seeking for an avenue to abscond the country considering the fact that you just returned from a family trip which obviously would have cost some money, your husband just got a usa visa recently and now you and the kids wants the same to make another family trip within a short period of time to your last trip.. just my thought

I dont get the kind of pointer you need but i dont think that should be a problem cos i once invited my oyinbo in-law some years ago and getting the visa from usa wasnt a problem for her i guess becos she came to nig a couple of times.

I wrote her an invite and claimed to be responsible for her during her stay, backed it up with my official documents, my bio-data page, hotel booking receipt for the duration of her stay. dats all i can remember

I agree she gave out too many information. she should have made it simple and clear. If there is enough time to your wedding she cand reapply and give reason why its important she is present at the event.

Please i have submitted by DS160 form and my training is scheduled for Dec 5th but the available booking date i saw is January 8th,2018..,but yet to pick one. So I now plan to attend the training next year March. How to I change the information on my submitted DS160 form to reflect my new arrival date??

you cant change any inform on the DS160 form once its submitted. Since you are yet to book appoint, fill another form and contact support to update the new DS160 ID then you can book your date. I always advise people to pick interview date before submitting their DS160 forms so they can be sure all is in order.

Thank you all for helping me out with our appointment booking. I discovered that just within 3 days of not being able to successfully book an appointment a lot has changed in booking dates. Although I successfully booked but the dates is farther than we expected.
My question is how do I monitor appointment dates and time to monitor so that I can rescheduled another dates.

You have seen date you are still asking for how to monitor date and time! you think date and time will be waiting for you abi? the one you saw and claims is farther will be child's play by time you finish monitoring appointment date and time to monitor so that you can reschedule another dates.

You better book your date now if you dont want to monitor till next year

I need clarification please. I cancelled the hotel reservation i used during my application because it was nearing the expiration of free cancellation and my visa was not out then.

Now it is out, my travel dates are changing slightly and i got a better offer in an hotel about 20mins drive away from the previous one which i plan to use.

Will this pose any problem at POE?

Not really as long as you explain yourself, just show them your new confirmed hotel reservation and explain that you had to cancel the previous hotel because you got a better deal as your plans changed due to the delay in your visa decision.
