Agbogashi: Someone should please please link me to another tv series like 24. I'm really a fan...Try and see 'homeland', it has 3 seasons already. Few similarities in terms of both involving Cia and terrorism. Homeland is quite different but give it a try. Try I see 'the blacklist' completely different but very interesting. The blacklist has just one season. |
Received the email of adjustment of moniker. The addition of the numeric 1 was that nice. Anyway I carry on. You can still see your mentions of your previous moniker. When you click on mentions, edit the moniker in the search box to your previous and your mentions will appear. |
Sustainability is key, increased tuition and yet the quality doesn't improve rather the allowance of the lecturers would increase. Most of the Universities are not helping themselves, they are ways to seek for money, Majorly through research grant. Bring up a good research idea and sell the idea to government and private companies to sponsor. You measure quality of Universities by the quality of research project and papers published, would increase in tuition fees lead increase in more funded research projects? Answers appears no. Lastly, with the economy level of Nigeria presently , including tuition will lead to lot of school drop out,. Ever wondered why there are students loans in the US and UK because they want to minimize students leaving because they can't afford it. Their |
So we cant have male frds again? seriously guys! i see no big deal in friendzoning a guy...i tak my male frds serious and really appreciate them more, so isnt that enough? its not even a must u get us gifts, i dont need it...just your friendship and i dont think thats asking for too much.
Lol, most guys don't have problem with what you are saying. Most of us here have very good female friends. The simple problem is when the gal turns the guy into a boyfriend ( making time, going out, shopping on done the guy expense etc) but still maintain the guy is just friend, in most cases it's the gal who keep asking for favors and when you say let's take it to the next level, she says no. |
Sweetlemon: No No No No No!Agreed, he shouldn't have canceled it but do you blame him? You saw what happened in ekiti, Fayemi insisted on the competency test but they voted him out. Most Nigerians are only interested in short term goals even if leads to a terrible long term effect. The reason people vote for who in Nigeria is very very trivial, to some oh he distributed milo during Ramadan, oh he distributed fowl during Xmas, it really disheartening. I read fashola article on the ekiti elections and he was perplexed at the ekiti people. We are so underdeveloped that any long term goal is a no no. If you intend to fight corruption in ground level starting from the local government, they people will hate, the prefer they should be left while you concrete on some aimless project like building mall, roads etc don't just touch the daily bread. I want a better nigeria. But we Nigerians are not ready. I'm just tired of Nigerian people. For now governors can do whatever they like. Can't you see even osun governor is reverting some of his policy. Smh Sigh! |
Which country got the contract to rehabilate our rail lines along lagos jebba road, the chinese but abadoned and I guess reawarded. Anyway corruption won't allow us to operate a national airline. Airline business dont survive if it get affected with corruption and mismanagement. |
My first reaction was kill the idoit but it doesn't accomplish anything. At least he was honest with you to let you know he has changed. You just have to live with it. Some one better will come. |
Hahah, nigerians, someone sees taking pics with billionaire as irrelevant, you think its hate . Dr dre didn't take a pic with steve job but they called him to strike a deal. I would love to take pic with some popular personality and post on the internet but that where it ends. Some of you need to chill with your obssesion with dbanj. |
Horses one is the best, M dad says he wants hores but my mum says no, lol. |
And what has Waec said, has Waec confirmed or denied those pictures? Or Waec now part of scam plot? The presidency know a lot but creating doubt works in their favour. How much will it cost asari to call jona the president to summon Waec and inquire about the validity of the picture? But they rather keep asking questions when the answer is in their door step. Why has Waec authoritatively not released the pics of the student that sat for the exams? This issue is not rocket science, simple inquiry from Waec should clear the issue. |
USA were dreadful in both defence and attack, what did they do in first 90 minutes, they had only 4 shot at goal. They should be glad that Tim Howard was very very good or else that score line would have spelt 'America'. He made 14 saves. But as far as the USA fans are concerend, it was the last 15 minutes that mattered. The Belgium only made the USA look good. Imagine USA agains Argentina, messi will have a double hatrick |
Now watching 'under the dome' season 2. Pretty interesting tv show. |
Greed and corruption everywhere. Smh |
Jade William: OMG! When NL went off server; @iceman was d 1st persn I thought of.:xSo you've just seen person of interest season 1? Ok. Truth is I stop watching season 1from episode 6, it was kinda boring, didn't bother to watch season 2. Then came season 3 which 1 ignored but it was getting good reviews on Twitter, so I gave one episode of season three a try and wow it was interesting. I downloaded the whole of season 2 and didn't regret. The machine wasn't all that powerful anymore, they weren't able to protect every number that comes up. So you can ignore season one and start from season two and see if you will still be interested. |
LannisterIMP: Tell me abt it. I had to get my acct registered again.. God punish evil doe well now watching The BigBang TheoryEvery post and actions (mentions and likes) that was done after January 10 is lost. This thread already had over 80 pages, now back to 60. Unless NL is able to recover those lost data, people will have to post comments again to keep the thread alive. |
Sigh, data loss has really affected this thread. |
Just lame excuses as if they meet on a match making website and got married the following week. |
Na wa o for this story. Defend Islam from what really. The whole story doesn't add up. So this adamu agreed to fight the government but later reported the security operatives to come and arrest suleman abi. Then the security operatives were fired at, they returned fire but this mole called adamu saw suleman and his boys digging the guns they buried in front of the house abi.? ![]() Finally, it was in a mosque they caught you even after you led them to arrest suleman abi. |
funshint: Pls shut up is'nt that possible in Nigeria. We're in a country where many have been denied work because of their ethnicity/ religion; yet we cry of racism while we are worse. That's just blackman's inhumanity to fellow blackman!!Well the company is own by a Northern hausa Muslim, if he chooses to employ only Northern hausa Muslim, no blame on him. It's a privately owned not government owned. You can ask your rich men to stop importation business and start investing in your villages, opening industry. |
This is a tip of how south south Nigeria will be when they become a sovereign country. The only thing holding the south south together is the presidency. Remove that, chaos will return due to power tussle. |
Comedy thread. Make una carry on. Make yourselves feel better. |
They are building it for the future arewa Republic. They are just making preparation so that Abokis from the south won't be homeless after the separation ![]() On a serious note, those houses are too expensive and people who can actually afford it will rather build it in their village. Secondly, the houses serves wealth they can fall back on when they are out of govt because as Nigeria population increase, the houses will be sort after. |
Harbosede02: Must u guys generalise 4 heaven sake??wtf!!How do you want people not to generalise? Generalizations is just a human reaction , we all generalise, mostly subconsciously.. Best thing is to ignore if one is not guilty of it. I have learnt notbe bbothered with generalisation |
I think it's more of poverty and less of greed.... I'm gonna put some statistics into perspective.... 1) Youth unemployment in Nigeria is roughly 60% and for a female Nigerian youth, it might even be higher. Dependency on men is mostly economically driven and over time becomes a culture. People that think Nigerian women are greedy need a rethink. If you deprive over half of your population an economic means, dependency is inevitable. 2) Half of the women employed in Nigeria are underemployed, so a university graduate with a valuable degree might be working as a female secretary.... 3) How about some cultures' attitude toward women? Some families still refuse to send their female children to school and some even give their male children preferential treatments over their female offsprings. This therefore implies that male children have a better head start compared to their female counterparts. 4) How about inheritance law ? Vast huge sums of money and wealth are mostly given to male children, so they become better off than their female sisters... If our government is serious in reducing youth unemployment, every youth, including our women will be empowered. Nigeria is a failed state with a failing government. As long as we have this useless government, our women are gonna keep depending on us.
You have said it all. Reason why ladies in some foreign countries like USA or UK are not dependent on the man is because they can find a part time job and earn a decent living. There is also social security or unemployment benefits. Every one is able to hustle for money but Nigeria being a failed country, nothing is happening. |
25k as hotel manager, mehn E get as E b. Anyway take it for a month and see how far since there is feeding and accommodation. |
Haven't been to the USA, can't say much about them. Having spent more than a year in the UK, I will say the UK are very tolerant. Not for once did any body display any form of racism to me. If you demand anything and it's within your right, they will give you without any issues. Has any British black person applied for and council position, how many blacks are into British politics? It's all gradual process, you can't base USA having a black president as a yardstick as being racial tolerant, you have to interact with the host community. They are now Asian from Pakistani origins occupying political position in the UK. Aren't they black British players in English squad. Nevertheless, it doesn't mean you won't find pocket of intolerance in certain quarters. |
Lesson indeed, all thanks to the Android os. |
Hopeless thread, you do am, I do am. |
macof: Are Ijebu and Ibadan the only Oodua tribes? We have about 18 tribes and would be united as we are in Nigeria.Same thing was said about South Sudan about how United they were this and that but today, they are killing themselves. If blood brothers, husband and wife do quarrel, some go as far as killing, why do you really think people with multi ethnic will just live in peace. People are United when the have a common enemy, when that enemy is absent, they become enemy of each other if things doesn't work out. For example the south South and South East are United today because they see the north as an enemy, vice versa. When the north is no more, the face each other, if things doesn't work like in most African countries due to corruption and greed, the become enemy of each other. Reason why the south Sudan us in crisis today, President from tribe A doesn't trust the vice president of tribe b. He accused the vice president of attempted coup. We will only be deceiving ourselves if we really think things will out well. |
eaglechild: That singular act is a great enough to have him resign his appointment, we are talking about the CBN governor quoting bogus financial figures, that was well on the way of jeopardising the executive arm of government.Pleaseeeeee, jeopardising what, tell me, did the subsidy scam jeopardize the government? Look nothing will shake this government even if it is a trillion dollars corruption. The question now is what happened to the 12b dollars that the government agreed is missing? Please answer the missing 12b dollars na, no you won't, you want us to concentrate on why Sanusi said it was 50b dollars instead 12b dollars abi. Alright Sanusi will pay the price for misquoting, agreed o,. Now tell me who should be held responsible for the 12b dollars that is missing? |
The sack or whatever doesn't make a difference. He has completed his tenure and Alhamdulilah he has done I best. Wish him the thereafter. Corruption continues. |
