4 Play: I will reiterate the point I made in another thread. Nigerian culture defines citizenship by descent rather than by place of birth. So a Nigerian whose parents are from Anambra but who was born and bred in Enugu is seen as an Anambranian. By the same token, a person whose parents are from Ogun but who is born and bred in Lagos has no hope of running for Lagos Governor.

Given how we narrowly define citizenship with Nigerian neologisms like "indigeneship", it is incredibly hypocritical to see the same Nigerians claim that 2 people whose parents are Nigerians are not really Nigerian because they were born and bred in London. Clearly, we won't be saying this if they were in the news for something positive.

@OP.. there is no doubt that your opinions also represent the opinions of hundreds of Muslims whose practice of ISLAM is peaceful and non-violent, non-confrontational and basically Live and Let Live.
If more Muslims like yourself speak-out especially to leading Muslim Clerics and Scholars, there might be a larger impact on the generality of youths who are guided into violence within and outside the society they live in.
IMHO I believe inaction or silence is often taken for approval. it is not possible that Radical/Extremism is beneficial to ISLAM in anyway.. unless f'course it is and I am just wasting my time.. Peace

In both cases, murder was committed and all men involved are British. In one of the cases, two men shouted 'Allah' and killed one army officer, in the other case, one man did not shout anything but killed two female police officers.

Does the fact that 'Allah' was not shouted in one case make it a less severe murder case than the other where 'Allah' was shouted? (mind the victims in both cases)

Does the "LAW" defines crime with preference to religious or ethnic background?

Whereas, they make no mention of foreign lineage when it is individual heroism or positive achievement being discussed. This behaviour is now 'default mode' for them. Yet, rational Britons, unconnected with politics and the media, are no longer buying the distraction. Many have agreed unequivocally that Adebolajo is "as British as you and me".

British press can continue to do their thing to serve their agenda of xenophobia and scaremongering about immigration but Britons are seeing through the ruse and noting that this open show of bias is unhelpful in the long run.

But you must admit, UK has an immigration problem, it has been seething for decades and this drive for Diversity is really not "happening" as originally planned. you can ask France about their immigration problem, it is the same all over Europe. millions of Arab Migrants who do not want to be integrated into the Society that grants them a place of abode, livelihood and work (even when most of them are lazy and unemployed). in a society that supports diversity, ISLAM can be a problem.. as witnessed by a handful of passers-by
