The problem with Ipob members is the way your leader brainwashes you, people, it will take the grace of God for your brains to start working fine again. Who are those Niger delta people agitating for Biafra? can you list their names.

Are ijaw the mouth piece of Niger delta?
Can u answer
I'm a Proud Igbo guy I don't reason like Ipob members. Even if some minority ethnicities group wants to join Biafra. the way your leader Nnamdi Kanu is behaving will discourage them.

How can someone that claimed to be a freedom fighter will be bearing the title of Supreme leader? allowing people to bow down before him. behaving like Biafra is like his birthright that no one can challenge him. Even I an Igbo guy is not comfortable with Nnamdi Kanu's tyrant character talkless of minority ethnic groups.

No sane person will leave Nigeria and enter another Nigeria again. Biafra is not a country yet someone is behaving that he has the final say without listening to other people's opinions.

Politics › I Will Stand Surety For Nnamdi Kanu Again – Abaribe by Lajet(op): 8:38am On Jul 22, 2021
Senate Minority Leader, Enyinaya Abaribe, has insisted he would stand surety again for the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, given the same circumstances.

Abaribe stated this on Wednesday during an interview on TVC’s Journalists Hangout.

The lawmaker explained that he stood surety for Kanu, because it was a condition imposed by the court.

According to Abaribe, the court ordered that one of the sureties must be a Senator, and as the Chairman of the Southeast Senators Caucus then, he had to offer himself.

When asked whether Senator Ike Ekweremadu, who is now the Chairman of Southeast Caucus, would agree to stand as sure for Kanu should the need arise, Abaribe said he would not know.

Abaribe said: “There is a difference between jumping bail and escaping for your life. I went back to court and deposed that on the basis of the principle of ‘last seen’, that the last people seen with him were soldiers of the Nigerian army who were invading his father’s residence.

“The judge ultimately ruled that she was revoking bail and issued a warrant of arrest, thereby removing us from the responsibility of providing him.”

Abaribe was then asked if he would be willing to stand surety for Kanu again, if the IPOB leader was offered bail.

He replied: “If the circumstances are the same, then why not?

“The first time, the judge said they needed a Senator to be part of his sureties. So if a judge says that again that they need a Senator, I don’t see why I won’t. I am a Senator and I come from the South East.

“We can’t run away from our responsibility. He’s our son. He’s from our state (Abia)

Politics › Stop Linking Me To Re-Arrest Of Nnamdi Kanu, Ngige Warns IPOB by Lajet(op): 6:45pm On Jul 17, 2021
Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige has told the proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) to desist from linking him to the re-arrest of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

Ngige, in a statement by his media office on Saturday, insisted he does not have the time to involve himself with security and diplomatic matters.

The Minister also described the attempt by IPOB spokesman, Emma Powerful, to link him with Kanu’s re-arrest as deceitful, mischievous, malicious and wicked.

“Ngige is occupied, involved and engrossed with his duties as the Labour and Employment Minister, member of Federal Cabinet Committee for Economic Recovery and member of the Economic Sustainability Committee constituted by President Muhammadu Buhari, which is headed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, with the mandate to tackle the challenges and fallouts of COVID-19 and post COVID-19 era.

“It is, therefore, unthinkable that somebody with grey matter in his brain, except if he is hallucinating like the IPOB spokesman, could accuse a very busy Minister like Senator Ngige of being part of a ‘conspiracy’ for the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu,” the statement read in part.

Powerful, in his statement, listed those that would be made to pay for their “satanic role” in Kanu’s re-arrest.

Apart from Ngige, he named Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano and Igbo businessman, Emeka Offor.

Politics › Stop Selective Arrests, Do It Within Ambits Of Law – Southern Governors To Buhar by Lajet(op): 6:58pm On Jul 05, 2021
The Southern Governors Forum has told the President Muhammadu Buhari government to always stick to the law while arresting individuals and or groups of people alleged to have committed one crime or another.

The Governors said this in a communique read by the Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu at the end of the meeting held on Monday.

The meeting reviewed the situation in the country and focused on the current security situation, constitutional amendment, Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB), among other things.

The Governors agreed that the country should remain united but on the pillars of equity, fairness, justice, progress and peaceful co-existence between and amongst its people.

The communique said, “The forum frowns at selective criminal administration of Justice and resolved that arrests should be made within the ambit of the Law and fundamental human rights,” the communique added.

Politics › Ndigbo Should Not Abandon Nnamdi Kanu – Archbishop Chukwuma by Lajet(op): 8:15pm On Jun 30, 2021
The Archbishop of Enugu Province Anglican Communion, Most Rev. Emmanuel Chukwuma has urged Ndigbo not to abandoned the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

Chukwuma told journalists on Wednesday that Ndigbo should rally round Kanu as he go through the hurdles of trial over his agitation for self determination.

He explained that what he told a national daily on Tuesday on the arrest of Kanu was that going by the way social media news described how he was arrested, it was obvious his arrest and extradition to Nigeria was done not in accordance with international regulations.

He said that having engaged in agitation for the good of his people, Ndigbo should not deny or abandon him in this time of trial but support and pray that God sees him through.

Insecurity: Nigeria should seek foreign help before it’s too late – Cleric

He said, “We feel very sad and disturbed the way he was arrested. As I said before, what I was saying was that the way which he was arrested according to the social media, is particularly being condemned by us. A lot of news in the social media talking about how he was captured and I feel it is wrong for someone like Kanu to be captured that way or that they used something to lure him, we totally condemn it, it means they have captured him in a wrong way and that should be noted.

“Having now brought him to Nigeria, what we want to say is that we are not going to deny Kanu, Kanu is still for us and we will still continue to support him because the agitation he had was provoked by Buhari himself. When Buhari was doing a lot of appointments and selective negligence which provoked him to speak that we are marginalized and all that it was not with violence.

“So, if you are talking about 11-count-charge or whatever, you have to ask what caused it? And we are saying whatever be the case, we are watching and we are appealing to all our people in the East, everywhere to be calm and allow peace to reign, let see where the judgment is going.”

Chukwuma expressed sadness that that government could go abroad to arrest self determination agitator but refused to arrest bandits and terrorist herdsmen that had mad living in Nigeria a nightmare.

He said, “But if you are saying you have captured Kanu, my question is, how many bandits and how many of the Fulani herdsmen have you captured and prosecuted. So, you still find out that the selective negligence and their discriminations is continueing.

“If you are saying Kanu this, Kanu that, the people who are bandits and Fulani herdsmen have done worse things, but none of them have been arrested, none of them have been prosecuted, then you have pride to say you have arrested somebody from abroad but those who are at your nose you have not arrested them. I think is a failure on government security and we feel it is not right at all.”

He advised the government to ensure strict adherence to the rule of law and observance of fundamental human rights in handling of Kanu and the matter.

He said, “They should treat him with fairness and the judgment should be fair and they should not treat him as a criminal because he was agitating for something that is good for his people and we are not going to deny him. He is our son and we will continue to pray for him that government will listen to his agitations for these things to be sorted out, that is what we are saying.”

The Archbishop equally stressed that the selective negligence President Muhammadu Buhari adopted in making his numerous appointments which according to him did not recognize the South East as a bonafide geopolitical zone of the country necessitated the self determination agitation by Kanu and his group, IPOB.
