stcool: Thank God!!! Wale did not escape judgement... He should be in jail when further probe is carried out after he leaves office.
Also all the deals he carried out after the purchase of Connoco Phillips assets should be reversed. They ripped Oando into pieces.
He is a classic example of the rot, greed and evil the Tinubu's are perpetrating... Same way His mentor Tinubu is milking Lagos dry!
After taking money from the Italian investor and millions of innocent Nigerians dey turned the company against them and divested from all the lucrative businesses Oando had, leaving an empty shell.
Let God punish anything Tinubu and their offspring!!! You said it all..many shareholders lost their hard earned money |

onegentleguy: Thank God we were able to grab some fine opportunities !!
Some folks saw a juicy OPPORTUNITY in some great coys including FCMB, FIDELITY, UBA and ZENITH @ N1.55, N1.60, N5.50 and N18.85 respectively, and were still waiting for them lower... screaming that Nigeria is about to go into extinction. Some were even waiting for ZENITH @ N13 !! While some were hoping to get them, perhaps for free !!
Well, UBA and ZENITH closed @ N6.25 and N20.95 !!
As one of my Oga would say; Yanzu za su iya saya su mafi girma. Abin duniya !! |

[quote author=zamirikpo post=78722811]Na strong men business should be bolded.....E NO EASY LIKE THIS OOH..... Ur driver can just decide to take a nap while driving....shikenA. 19m is bye bye. Insurance can dribble u out of any payments. During scarcity ur truck can park for 2wks or more no loading.. SHORTAGE...SHORTAGE.....ahiboil knows the meaning, u load 45000litres and when discharged u see 44700 where did 300litres go. Either the driver has sold it or the receiving tank has a bad calibration. Who pays for the difference.(drivers salary no reach the value of 300l). May ur truck not breakdown in the wrong place. E.g inside lagos(lastma will show u shege) or on a lonely bushy road around ogharra/warri axis....hmmm my dear u know the rest. And when they write highly inflammable, they mean it. Sincerely trucking has the worst ROI.....coupling a truck 12m , buying pdt 6-7m for a profit of 200-300k basic. And b4 u do 50 trips u have changed tires and refurbished the engine. Not to talk of the B.P. it can cause....when u see ur drivers call. The Risk to Reward ratio is poor. Then BDC is not for everybody ooh, that it's working for Tom doesn't mean Jerry would survive it....it takes years to build a customer base that makes it lucrative. Like someone mentioned here , don't look at peoples harvest time without remembering the clearing, planting, watering, weeding /reweeding season Oluwa will help us all but we have to calculate. Well explained |

RealityShot: Buying land is not AS Profitable as you all paint it.
It takes at least 10 years to turn profit in real estate. (especially when you build and rent)
Treasury bills, can beat that through: rates fluctuations and compounding effect.
There is nothing like "high yield and good ROI" per say in real estate..
In the time you are waiting for the land to appreciate, a treasury bills investor is compounding guaranteed interests yearly and can reach 100% profit in 8 years.
While you, real estate speculator (investor), are still racing to recover your invested capital...not close to Profit! Just thot abt this real estate yester..A good friend of mine called me yester told me he bought a house last yr at opebi for 70M..I asked him how much he rented it out , he said 5M per annum I know he doesn't know abt T bills..Later i sat down to analyze shld in case one sees such opportunity around that location to buy a house for rental purpose With my lil thinking and analysis i think Tbill still much better for NOW At 12% averagely that. 70M should have given him 8.4m for 1yrs Tbills...For 2yrs Tbills that will be 16.8M Approx. compared to 10M he will get for 2 yrs rental That was my own analysis...I may be wrong cos i do not know it But my question is ..Will anyone still be able to get that kind of property at that price or less after few year of Tbills investment |
