Don't m ind them, they are in a big mess too. Watch as China finally buy the US . they are leaving beyond their means. The Freedom they preach is not there, how come the legislators that support the Health bill reforms are being threatening. The Obama Presidency caught them unaware. |
If you hate him so much that you don't want to listen or pick anything from his piece then its too bad. Can anyone of us tell what the problem is with the Nigerian system. I will disagree though that we should call priest to pray. Instead Individual Citizen should find at least 1 minute a day to pray for this country. Priest ,Imam or whoever is another issue. |
octar6:truly its paining them, because its their region that will suffer it. Give the Governor an award for that |
RUSE |
Real Noise. What is all these. Why tell them what to do ? and why tell them they will be fired. So Jonathan dont know what to do again. |
I dont mean that part of change as you put it, when someone is desperate for a post in Nigeria you know what it means. That is why I mentioned Atiku as a reference , or do you think Atiku is desperate for a change ? The word desperate always has dangerous ends, Only in few people that you will find a Genuine desperate move. I am in support of your comment on Dora too, er rating at the Ministry of information was poor, the GSM fees she promised to bring down the tariff could not be achieved, the shameful act of re-branding what should be branded by the Government actions of providing basic needs of life. |
"he is not desperate for the job and would not be caught in the web of politics.” I love this part and pray that if he was eventually cleared the web of politics will not be an interference in discharging is duty professionally . And if he did not scale through,May God sower more of HIS Unending mercy on him. We dont want desperate representative like Atiku |
10 Ways the New Healthcare Bill May Affect You by Katie Adams Friday, March 26, 2010 provided by investopedia_logo.jpg The Patient Protection and Affordable Healthcare Act, more commonly referred to as the "healthcare bill", has taken over a year to craft and has been a lightning rod for political debate because it effectively reshapes major facets of the country's healthcare industry. Here are 10 things you need to know about how the new law may affect you: More from Investopedia.com: • 4 More Can't-Miss Health Deductions • Top 5 Reasons Why People Go Bankrupt • A Bigger Salary or Better Benefits? 1. Your Kids are Covered Starting this year, if you have an adult child who cannot get health insurance from his or her employer and is to some degree dependent on you financially, your child can stay on your insurance policy until he or she is 26 years old. Currently, many insurance companies do not allow adult children to remain on their parents' plan once they reach 19 or leave school. 2. You Can't be Dropped Starting this fall, your health insurance company will no longer be allowed to "drop" you (cancel your policy) if you get sick. In 2009, "rescission" was revealed to be a relatively common cost-cutting practice by several insurance companies. The practice proved to be common enough to spur several lawsuits; for example, in 2008 and 2009, California's largest insurers were made to pay out more than $19 million in fines for dropping policyholders who fell ill. http://finance.yahoo.com/family-home/article/109178/10-ways-the-new-healthcare-bill-may-affect-you?mod=family-love_money I am just wondering if this policy can be done in Nigeria and the Multiplier effects. or are we don't have the wealth to implement this. |
More money for the Propagandist. |
The headline should be Senator marries daughter |
what do you suggest . I mean how do we tackle this once and for all |
Its not stupidity. Its not hard earned. so its "ideal" to spend that way. |
Akala, Mushin: The beat goes on Tucked behind Adedoja and Igbarere streets, off Ogunmokun Road, Mushin, Lagos State, is the dreaded street called Akala. Indeed, a first-time visitor without the courage to ask for its exact location from residents would need a compass to separate it from other adjoining streets. In those days when it gained notoriety as a haven of hard drugs and spine-chilling crimes, it would be foolhardy for pedestrians to go near its entrance. Dotted by swarms of off-putting miscreants and scumbags, even the valiant among men would need more than guts to pass by the hoodlums. So bad it was then, that you would need to either splutter Psalm 45 or hurriedly recite the entire Qurisiyu in the Quran to have a safe passage in the dreadful street. At the height of its infamy, the biblical execution of two robbers with Jesus Christ on the cross at Golgotha was re-enacted when members of the Otunba Gani Adams-led faction of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) routed the ‘boys’ out of their enclave and apprehended a suspected, notorious robber who had turned the street into his den from where he spilled hell on residents. http://thenationonlineng.net/web2/articles/40989/1/Akala-Mushin-The-beat-goes-on-/Page1.html |
Desperate Atiku ! Only God gives Power. |
All "the achievements" are from his personal pocket. military MENTALITY STILL IN US. Maybe we dont know that we are entitle to more than all this new "miracle" that we think is happening. Maybe we dont know the essence of Governance. Its just unfortunate, I pray that this Democracy is sustained for as long as Nigeria exist then we know what it takes to be a citizen. |
Nigerianistic a game for real players. No rigid rules, just play on. |
ElRazur:How do you mean ? |
And who do we blame for this? Believe me the whole system is frustrating. Hardwork is not reciprocate with motivation. Thieves have 100 Chieftancy titles, they are made senators,Inec Boss, , uhhh. No one is justifying bad attitude or 419. But check the dexterity these "Entrepreneurs" use to execute their projects you will be surprised ! |
@ Lagos Boy They might have some issues, allow comments and please dont use insulting words. We can learn from one another |
Sanusi is no saint, but its good to tell us the reason why Islamic Banking should not be allowed. Reference of where it is practice and if any the Disadvantages . @ Seun if Police banking will protect someone who saved under pillow, inside wardrobe from falling a victim to collapsed Bank ,it should be welcome with little or no criticism. I am not sure if any of the accused or suspect have denied most allegations. Look who is suffering now. many innocent young employees has lost their job because some greedy elites enriched themselves from the system. So many rots .I eavesdropped at a hang out how some Nigerians where planing to start a Micro finance bank in Ghana with sole aim of fraud after two years of operation, but the Authority there is so wise by asking them to make their citizen a signatory, preventing them to move further. Ask those who lost their to money to failed banks. They will tell you they prefer 'Militant Banking" |
Secession and the campaigner ! seems that are yet to know the implication as far as Nigeria is concern, what is the level of development from individual States now ? even with the allocation in their disposal . Racism withing each tribe ? will that solve the problem? Now to the question . It might not necessarily be the presence of Oil even with abundant wealth, where there is no good manager its as good as a waste. Those asking for secession are doing that on tribal issue and lack of Unity among the masses . The Elites will never talk about that Until their interest is affected. Nigerians wake up ! |
edogu: |
Charging is not the issue .what will be the end of the whole noise, where is Ibori ? where are the other Governors ? who is clean ? why must they run to court to stop investigation. which law is that ? that will not allow someone to be investigated on corruption ? Ushhh ! |
Mocking of a Nation. What is all this for God sake ! its no sin falling sick, why must this stupendously stupid leaders turn it to an issue. Let him resume no one cares about when who is resuming, we care not about that. What we care about is the truth Only when everyone learn to say the truth and act with the fear of God then we can develop. |
@ Soji I am Still waiting for your reply .I have sent a mail a requested. Thanks |
@ Sam God is all knowing ,I can reason with your comments, but you should also realize that human being actions can be absurd sometimes and one will wonder if its possible ? Until you experience such ,you wont believe it can happen. Iam not subscribing to anyone cursing fellow human being and others shouting amen.God is all knowing. But people do things that are incredible. Its a world full of surprises. Father do impregnates daughter. So discard the "fact" that he actually cheat on the boy . |
Alleged Conspiracy: Gunmen Ambush Efcc Operatives, Kill One, Injure Four Twenty-four hours after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) raised the alarm on alleged conspiracy by some corrupt politicians to engage it in a sustained war of attrition, five of its operatives were attacked on Friday by unidentified gunmen in Imo State, killing one and injuring four. I bet it you will never get a genuine answer to the above, instead it will be insults. I often ask what is the essence of Governance ? In a Rhetorical manner, is it to protect citizens ? or destroy their means of livelihood through Mega projects ? What is the Government offering the masses, I saw a KAI official arresting a young boy hawking around Pen Cinema today between the hour of 11am. I just ask withing my self did Fashola send them this ? If yes what option do they have for the boy and others that are in his shoe. If no who is monitoring this KAI officials who are unleashing hardship on innocent citizen . 4. Is the Tejuosho Project a Market or a shopping complex? Although it is named Tejuosho Market, the project resembles a Shopping Complex to me. Would there the sellers of tomatoes, onions, fish, fresh meat, ugwu, palm oil, rice, beans, etc in this market as what was obtained before? |
Now I can see clearly that PUNCH is biased ,How on earth can a Chairman of an Organisation respond to just on allegation (as highlighted below)out of Ten pages of Petition. So Many issues were raised by the former Editor against Azu and The Lagos State Government this is Prejudice Readers are not fools. Nigerians arewaiting for the outcome of the investigation. Mr. Ayorinde‘s account of the circumstances of his forced resignation are incomplete and inaccurate. For example, he said he had never received a query from the company throughout his period as an employee. Yet, as recently as September 2009, disciplinary action was taken against him by sending him on suspension for two (2) weeks. |

Sagamite:I witnessed a similar scenery when I was in the University, Students sometimes behave in the same direction they are preaching against . We talk about Justice, fairness , so why ask JTF to release the man to you. when did Undergraduates become Police ? And according to the story he is a mad Man ! |
EFCC should stop running after politician, they know what to do, The so call Civil Servants who are the major master minder of fraud should be investigated they have no immunity. |
