meshman:Ameen, thumma Ameen.May Allah(Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) bless you too and makes his Deen easy for you. |
usermane:@Underlined, deeper what? That's a shallow and an insincere look a jaundiced one, I don't really have time to waste with you but let me clarify few things to you. Tell us usermane, from the Qu'ran how to pay Zakat? Furthermore, does the hadith says 'Anyone whose husband is pleased with ONLY'? Where's the contraction? The hadith didn't say 'if a husband is pleased with her wife is that only ticket to paradise'. Please, use your brain.Hatred do blind one's reasoning faculty many a times. A woman whom her husband is pleased with would have been obeying the injunctions of Allah(Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) by following what Allah commanded to do in regards to her husband and other Allah's injunctions, if she keeps to these and her husband is pleased with her then Alhamudulilah for her, if her husband isn't pleased her for obeying Allah(Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) injunctions, that's the husband's problem and it doesn't contradict her ticket to paradise. Asiya(Peace be upon her), the wife of Firaun is among the best women of all time.Firaun being pleased with her or not doesn't in any manner makes her not among the dweller of paradise. A Husband being pleased with her wife isn't a ticket to paradise, but a SUPEROGATORY ACT which would add to her honour on the day of Judgement Do you understand? ![]() Let's do some simple analogies using your logic. The Prophet(Peace be upon him and his household) said:Whoever takes care of two girls until they reach adulthood - he and I will come (together) on the Day of Resurrection - and he interlaced his fingers (meaning in Paradise)(Reported by Muslim) In another narration. The Prophet(Peace be upon him and his household) said:Whoever has three daughters whom he provides shelter for, supports and marries off, Paradise becomes absolutely binding for him." It was said,'What if they are two (daughters)?' The Prophet said, "Even if it's two." (Ahmad, Bukhari) In another narration, The Prophet(Peace be upon him and his household) said: Whoever has three daughters or sisters, or twodaughters of two sisters, and lives along with themin a good manner, and has patience with them, and fears Allah with regard to them will enter Paradise.” (Reported by Abu Dawud, Al-Tirmidhee and others) So according to the warped logic and interpretation of 'Sheik Usermane', if I can raise two or three girls till they reach adulthood taking good care of them, I will enter paradise even if I gave up my salat, my sawm(fast), my sadaqah(charity) and I just focus on raising up girls. Raising up daughters doesn't guarantee automatic ticket to paradise, it's a SUPEROGATORY ACT which would add to one's account on the day of Judgement. Another example The Prophet(Peace be upon him and his household) said:A house will be built in Heaven for one who prays 12 Rak'aat in a day and evening[At-Tirmidhi Hadith 380] So according to the warped logic of our 'Sheik', one can offer nawafil ONLY without fard and enter paradise. It's not like that, one must engage in fard first before nawafil. One cannot give up what is Fard(compulsory) for what is Nawafil(optional).Thousand of nawafil without fard is ZERO. usermane:I ask you like AlBaqir asked you, Afala Taqilun? You try as much as possible to portray yourself as a knowledgeable person, but you still sounds like one confused person(No offense). See the hadith you quoted. Sunan Ibn MajahThe intention of the wife is to pleased Allah(Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) by obeying Allah's commands in relation to her husband. Her goal is for Allah to be pleased with her, if in the course of doing that, her husband is being pleased with her, it would only add her honour in the sight of Allah. Her husband not being pleased with her doesn't reduce her chances of entering paradise. I have explained that. Let me give you last example out of many examples. The Prophet(Peace be upon him and his household) said:Allah has ninety-nine names, one hundred less one. Anyone who learns them will enter Jannah. According to another narration: Anyone who memorizes them will enter Jannah. (Agreed upon by Al-Bukhari and Muslim) So according to your interpretation and warped logic, one who had memorized the names of Allah(Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) can give up salat, Zakat and the other Fard(compulsory) because he/she has memorized the names of Allah(Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) and the hadith says anyone who does so will enter paradise.Huh? Does the hadith says anyone who memorized the names of Allah(Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) ONLY will enter paradise? The explanation is that someone who has memorized the names of Allah(Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) would be a person that is following what Allah commanded him and because of his love for Allah, he increased his honour with HIM by memorizing Allah's beautiful names. Again, giving up fard for nawafil is zero. Last advice, as brother Sino said usermane 'Go back to Madrasah' |
meshman:Walaikum Salam Waramatulah Wabarakatuh. As for your question, scholars hold different opinions regarding it. However, there is nothing wrong in reading from the mus-haf in supererogatory Prayer such as tahajjud and tarawih Prayers. In response to your question, the erudite Muslim scholar, Sheikh Nizam Ya`qubi, states: “This is a matter of disagreement among scholars. The Hanafi scholars do not permit this at all. The Shafi`i scholars permit it in both obligatory and supererogatory Prayers. The Maliki scholars hold a middle view, which I see more appropriate. They allow reading from the mus-haf in supererogatory Prayers, while they do not allow it in obligatory Prayers.'' Having stated the above, you can read from the mus-haf in tahajjud Prayer, especially if this makes you recite more and helps you in memorizing more of the Qur’an.” Source |

Amid the confusion, the chaos and the pain A man emerged and Muhammad was his name And walking with nothing but Allah as his aid And the mark of a prophet between his shoulder blades In a cave in mount hira, the revelation came Read o Muhammad, read in Allah's name May the blessings of Allah be on al-mustafaa (the selected one) None besides him could have been al-mujtabaa(the chosen one) Muhammad, peace be upon his soul The greatest of prophets, Islam was his only goal Muhammad, salla Allahu ' alayhi wa sallam From among all the prophets, Muhammad was the last As his was a mission of the greatest task There was only moral degeneration People clung to idol adoration For all nations, he was al-mukhtaar (the preferred one) So was he praised by Allah, al-ghaffaar The bearer of glad tidings, al-basheer Leading into light, as-seeraj-al-muneer (lamp of Radiance) In handling the wicked, he had the best of skill He pacified with tolerance and goodwill The best of morals he aimed to attain All he accomplished through suffering and pain Reviving imaan as almuthakkir (the reminder) He is known in the qur'aan as al-mud-dath-thir (covered up) Only he was given the honour of miraaj Unique was this glory to Muhammad asseeraj (the lamp) He was ad daee ill Allah hil azheem All hadi elaa seerauteem mustakeem His mission complete, his held in great esteem Allah praised him as bil-khuluqil azeem May the blessings of Allah be on mustafaa None besides him could have been al-mujtabaa So perfect were his morals, so justly did he rule Darkness had vanished and the word was full of noor Balagha lula bikamalihi Kashafa dduja bijamalihi Hasunat jami u khisalihi Sallu alayhi wa alihi Muhammad, peace be upon his soul, The greatest of Prophets, Islam was his only goal. From the Sacred House to Jerusalem, Through the seven heavens did he ascent To the Love Divine beyond where or when, Send peace on him and his family! Like a moon set sail on the heaven’s seas. Through the dark night riding on the lightning- steed See! One born of earth strides the heaven’s fields! Send peace on him and his family! And the stars gave thanks and the moon did weep As its beauty paled before the Hashimi For what sun or moon can compare to him? Send peace on him and his family! As his heart was strengthened and purified, And was filled with wisdom and light on light So the wells of Zamzam he sanctified, Send peace on him and his family! And the Prophets- Adam TO Jesus Christ- Came to honour him and to pray behind One from whose lamp they had received their light. Send peace on him and his family! And the gates of heaven, so high and strong, Opened joyfully for the one called upon And the angels sang ‘peace on you, welcome!’ Send peace on him and his family! When Gibril did falter, Muhammad rose, Where no Prophet nor angel may approach So beloved to the Beloved returned! Send peace on him and his family! For the peace that comes to surrendered hearts. For the mercy descending when the prayer is called For the blessings born of your charity. Send peace on him and his family! Through perfection did he attain the heights. He dispelled the dark with his beauty’s light Oh! How blest are all of his qualities! Send peace on him and his family! The Ascension by Talib Al-Habib |

For his face, that shone like the sun and moon For the smile, that lightened a darkened room For his life, that turned night to brightest noon Send peace on him and his family. As his hands brought fragrance to all they touched With a perfume sweeter than rose or musk His remembrance perfumes the dawn and dusk Send peace on him and his family. For his hair, that shone ebony and black That like streams cascaded towards his neck For the seal of prophecy upon his back Send peace on him and his family. For his teeth, that shone with a diamond's gleam For his neck, like silver and ivory For his wisdom, priceless beyond all things Send peace on him and his family. For his hands that toiled yet were smooth and soft For his feet that swelled as he worshipped God For the marks on his back that brought tears to Umar Send peace on him and his family. When his blessed body was pierced by rocks With blood streaming forth, he gave this response 'Oh Allah, forgive them, for they know not!' Send peace on him and his family. For his name is Ahmad and Muhammad He is praised in heaven and praised on earth Though no praise can reach to his true worth Send peace on him and his family. All who came to him were in awe of him All who stayed with him fell in love with him Oh! How fortunate to have been one of them Send peace on him and his family. Hilya by Talib Al-Habib I am almost close to tears when listening to this nasheed. Note:Talib is not a scholar though |
**Modified AlBaqir:None of the blessings of Allah can we deny.We are blessed with natural resources in this Nation but due to mismanagement and selfish desires of our leaders, we find ourselves in this situation. One should ponder on this verse of the glorious Qu'ran that says in Surah An-Nahl 16:61 And if Allâh were to seize mankind for their wrong- doing, He would not leave on it (the earth) a single moving (living) creature, but He postpones them for an appointed term and when their term comes, neither can they delay nor can they advance it an hour (or a moment). What if Allah(Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) is to punish us for all these senseless killings, but the question is: can we withstand the wrath and punishment of our Rabb? AlBaqir:It's rubbish and disgusting. There's a topic on FP about a so-called Imaam that raped and shaved the pubic hair of a lady. There's a programme I listened to on the radio about a so called Alhaji that usually send a man on errands to get human parts. It's sickening by the rate people are looking for Dunya. Soka forest in Ibadan is still fresh in one's memory. AlBaqir:That's Nigeria for you, if you've gotten wealth, many innocent souls can be convicted for the bad things you do.Almost everything is upside down. AlBaqir:No excuses with Allah(Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala). |
When a Muslim therefore involves in intentional killing of another soul, he automatically deserved to be killed and by every means he does not deserve to be living. But if he kills any soul by accident, un-intentional, he must pay Diya (blood-money) now about thirty six million naira (N36,000,000: 00) only, which he may be fined by the judge, to pay the victim’s family, unless otherwise he is forgiven by that family! And when one unjustly or deceitfully evades his/her liability on earth, he stands to lose both the rewards of his righteous deeds and outright salvation on the Day of Judgment. Unfortunately, our judges are not just, being timid, bribed and confused to pass right judgment. Their favoritism and complacency have made the vicious circle continue, especially in the political arena and public offices. But then escaping justice on earth is postponement of one’s Evil Day, as the Day of Resurrection is “The Day when secrets shall be disclosed. Man will have no strength and no helper” Q86: 9-10. That Day, all injustice will vanish, political assassins and the fanatics like Boko-Haram in their misguided ideology with their sponsors would be in trouble and everlastingdamnation for what they have involved aside from short changing themselves greatly on earth. The Prophet said: “He who commit suicide by throttling shall keep on throttling in Hell Fire forever, and he who commit suicide by stabbing himself shall keep on stabling himself in the Hell Fire forever” (Bukhari). So suicide bomber will continue to blow-up him/herself in the Hell Fire forever! But why would a sensible true believer commit suicide when Allah reiterates that, “There is ease after hardship; surely there is ease after hardship!” Q94: 5-6 The Prophet also said: “After me, do not become disbelievers by striking the necks of one another” (Bukhari). Meaning that all unjust killers, political assassins and religious suicides are disbelievers for what they subscribed to. Indiscriminate killing does not commensurate with a true Muslim habit or Islamic practice. And he said: The most hated persons to Allah are three, …and one of them is a person who seeks to shed somebody’s blood without any right” (Bukhari). So habit of senseless killing of souls by Boko- Haram or any anybody does not at any time get Allah’s acceptance whatsoever the claim! Governance and political life in Islam is based on sound spiritual and moral foundations and is guided by Divine Instructions. And whatever system of government a Muslim found himself, he must let these dictate his activity. The fact that Allah says that: “He is the Lord of sovereignty and bestow it on or removes it from whomsoever He wishes”- (Q3: 26), should tell a public office holder that the power neither belongs to him or the people but to Allah Who says: “Whatever of mercy Allah grants to men, there is none to withhold it; and whatever He withholds, there is none who can release it after that; and He is the Mighty, the Wise” Q35: 2. In the face of this, it is certain that ‘do or die’ ideology to attain power through political and religious means will have evil consequence on the souls and society, and in the hereafter, as it is in conflict with Allah’s will. Persecution, aggression, injustice, cheating, oppression and killing, are all evil and sin which Islam strongly abhorred whether it is done in ‘favour’ of or against Islam. Allah has warned: “Eschew all sin, open or secret. Those who earn sin will get due recompense for their earnings” Q6: 120. By this piece we expect Muslim assassins and suicides and their masters or sponsors in all manners of political, religious and any other motive, to have a vivid reflection on the fate of their forbidden trade and stop it, repent and seek Allah’s forgiveness, if at all they truly lay claim to Islam at any level. Without that, it would be an unprofitable double loss for them when they will realize it but without any chance of rectification. By Abdullah Abdul-Qudus |
Now, are the sponsors of assassins and suicides ready to die the same death or do they pay better than this amount to their agents of death? Did the agents get this amount for the job done, even though the amount is not for their kind of evil job and can they also volunteer for the same kind of death? If not, then why doing the dirty job? Why short changing themselves on earth where the money is needed? And why building own mansion of severe punishment and destruction for the hereafter despite being cheated? It amounts to double loss and this is what the master minds of evil and agents of death should seriously consider. The sponsors and executors are the same in good and evil work. If you help and support a good cause, you share in all its credits and its eventual victory, and conversely, you cannot support a bad cause without sharing in all its evil consequences. Allah says: “Whoso makes a righteous intercession, shall have as share thereof and whoso make an evil intercession, shall have a like portion thereof and Allah is powerful over everything” Q4: 85. The consequence of deliberate and wrongful killing has been spelt out clearly in the above verses, vis-a-vis, that killer must also be killed and that may not end the punishment of his evil deed, but the Hell Fire also awaits him/her- both the sponsor and the executor. Killing any life or soul whether it is that of fetus or a child or an adult, is strictly forbidden by Islam even by mistake irrespective of religious inclination. Like accident, killing by mistake may not be prevented, and a genuine mistakenly killing is seriously sanctioned by Allah with stringent penalty so that one will as much as possible take all necessary care not to make one. “It does not become a believer to kill a believer unless it be by mistake. And he who kills a believer by mistake shall free a believing slave, and pay blood money to be handed over to his heirs, unless they give it as charity. But ifthe person slain be of a people hostile to you and be a believer, then the offender shall free a believing slave and if he be of a people between whom and you is a pact, then the offender shall pay a blood money to be handed over to his heir. But whoso finds not one, then shall fast for two consecutive months – a mercy from Allah. And Allah is all Knowing, all Wise.” Q 4: 92. But for anyone who intentionally kills any soul unjustly especially a Muslim, Allah made it clear that the only option for that killer and his accomplices is Hell Fire yet incurring Allah’s wrath. “And whoso kill a believer intentionally, his reward shall be hell wherein he shall abide. And Allah will be wrath with him and will curse him and will prepare for him a great punishment” Q 4: 93. “…And kill not your children for fear of poverty…and that you kill not the life which Allah has made sacred, save by right…”Q6:151. “And kill not the soul which Allah has forbidden save for just cause. And who so is killed wrongfully, We have surely given his heir authority to demand retaliation but let him not exceed the prescribed bounds in the matter of taking life, for he is helped by the law” Q 17: 33. |
Certainly, the two motives – political or any other assassin and suicide and religious imposition, which have become machineries for some Muslims to achieve their political ambition and/or to relieve himself of life distress, are debased practices not sanctioned by Islam as means of attaining office at any time or for any reason of quitting field of life struggle. Life is sacred in Islam and true post and success is by Allah’s will, this is what every Muslim politician should know. Allah says: “O Allah Lord of sovereignty, Thou give sovereignty to whosoever Thou please and Thou take away sovereignty from whomsoever thou please. Thou exalt whomsoever Thou please and Thou abase whomsoever Thou please. In Thy Hand is all good. Thou surely has power to do all things” Q3: 26. “And kill not the soul which Allah has forbidden save for just cause. And who so is killed wrongfully, We have surely given his heir authority to demand retaliation but let him not exceed the prescribed bounds in the matter of taking life, for he is helped by the law” Q 17: 33. Meaning that killing a soul wrongfully especially for post or power that actually is in Allah’s hands is erroneous and grievous and Sharia gives direct right for retribution - Qisas, (the law of equality in punishment). But If by mistake one must pay Diyah(blood money), which by calculation is presently about thirty six million naira (N36,000,000: 00), only. |
Assassination is not a strange thing especially in political arena. The frustrated, coward, deviant and evil minded among them employ it as a means of eliminating their competitors whom they fear stand as stumbling blocks or threats to their attaining success. Like in many other countries, the political arena in Nigeria has witnessed so much blood bath and the pronouncement of ‘do or die’ politics by the former President Obasanjo has further heated-up the polity leading to desperation, violence, senseless killings within and outside political arena. Indeed some politicians have seen act of killing by direct assassination or indirect by violence reaction/ protest that will lead to killing and destruction of lives and properties as the best and easy way to eliminate any troublesome person who they consider a threat to their political goals. Likewise, extremism and fanatical belief is not new in any religion as well. The Prophet himself witnessed and corrected some followers who wanted to incline to extremism in their worship. But now this has gained momentum to the extent of trying to force the faith on people of other beliefs and to gain power of governance forcefully, albeit, a religion clearly absolved from imposition (Q2: 256). Also there are suicides as a result of being coward or a frustrated person; disappointed; jilted; bored; or confused person in his/her hopelessness about condition, relationship and life challenges, which seems as outright failure or insurmountable. Aside from political assassin, are treacherous business people who also assassinate in order to deny their business partner his right and usurp his money or share in a deal. Likewise, people with evil clandestine activities or cults do terminate life. They try to eliminate anyone whom they perceive has the knowledge and possibly can divulge their evil deeds. Such Muslims are described as ‘destitute’ by the Prophet, as ‘they will come before Allah on the Day of Judgement with good worship and appreciable righteous deeds, but the rewards of which, would be credited to those whom they have wrongfully oppressed, cheated, abused, punished, or killed unjustly in the world, and the oppressors would be left with nothing for their salvation and thereby land in Hell Fire’. |

Wa Alaykum Salam Waramatulah Wabarakatuh. Firstly, how hazardous is dog's saliva? Can ordinary soap wash it off? Why Are Pets Health Hazards? The mouth and the intestines of pets can harbor bacteria and parasites that can be transmitted to humans. They can cause an assortment of medical conditions in humans. Diseases transmitted from animals to humans are called “zoonotic” (zo-not-ick). Bacteria: Pastuerella is a normal inhabitant of the mouth in cats and dogs that can cause skin, lymph node and, sometimes, more severe infections. Bartonella henselae, a bacterium that is transmitted to cats from fleas is also housed in the cats’ mouths. It is the cause of a severe skin and lymph node infection called cat-scratch-fever. Theoretically, humans can be infected by these bacteria by coming in contact with the saliva from a cat or dogs lick. www.petmd.com/blogs/thedailyvet/ktudor/2014/jan/are-dog-licks-unhealthy-for-people-31207 ^^So using utensils licked by dogs without thorough cleaning is harmful. The above just shows the hazardous effect of dog's saliva. So, the question now is: can soap adequately kills germs and bacteria? Washing your hands with soap and water will kill germs. Truth or misinformation? Misinformation 1.Plain soaps have minimal if any antimicrobial activity. 2. In several studies, hand washing with plain soap failed to remove bad microorganisms (pathogens) from the hands of hospital personnel. 3. Hand washing with plain soap can result in an increase in bacterial counts on the skin. 4. Occasionally, contaminated plain soaps have colonized hands with Gram-negative bacteria.
