What is happening to the Joke Section, this place is now so damn boring. I see EL is trying to light up this place, even BG doesn't post as often as before. where are the other frequent posters like Bunmioguns, Booqee, Valaint, Homar, Eke, Prettiebony and others. |

Baba419: what you've said is good and what every Christian is saying, but I thought he came to die for our immortality(eternal life) after Adam and eves wrong. So how come we aren't immortal since his death.We are not immortal here on earth, no one is, he came to save us so as not to experience the second death and give us eternal life in heaven. |

The bible clealy states that all unrightouesness is a sin and sin is an abomination unto God. We have all done some things before in the past but once we are in Christ and giving our life to him completely, he forgives us and we are just like him. Apostle Paul says that what entered into the man doesn't defileth him but that which comes out of him. We are no more in bondages of the Law because Christ has given his life for us and paid the ransom on our behalf. Jesus didn't come to destroy the Law but to perfect it. Let us be conscious of what we do with our body, our actions and in-actions. Apostle Paul says that everyday after preaching, I still look at myself and see maybe I'm still in christ. Let us all do soul-searching and always check ourselves maybe we are still in Christ. You got the tattoo in ignorance or for fashion or anything but since you have given your life to Christ, there's no condemnation for you anymore. 1 Like |

@OP You would have told him gently and calmly to concentrate on the driving instead of resulting to screaming and arguement. That being said, the cab driver also should have done things in orderliness. But I have a question for you OP, why do you feel uncomfortable when he started preaching. Check your personal life with God. If you had listenly gently as the others in the cab, it might be that the message was meant for you and you alone but the devil didn't allow you catch the message. Next time, relax and caution the cab driver when he's not being cautious enough. Thanks 1 Like |

Billyonaire: You raise a valid point by referencing Jesus as 'the' word. But you have unconsciously not thought if Jesus is 'the only word'. Jesus himself stated, that we can do 'greater things' than him only if we have faith. It therefore means there was nothing mystical about Jesus, the difference is our faith and his faith, lets not digress, we are the word, the word signifies energy in existence. If Jesus is the child of God as bible stated, then the same bible stated that we are all children of God, or should I say brothers of Jesus ? Truly, as Jesus stated, we have done greater things than Jesus if we wanna be sincere, the invention of the Aeroplane, going to the moon, construction of drones, even making beer and Henessy is just turning water into wine.I disagree, JESUS is the 'WORD'. Jesus came into the world to reconcile us back to God, he's the pathway to eternal life which is God masterplan for man. He said we can do greater things through Christ that streghten us. You are making it look Jesus is mortal and the difference btw Him and us is our faith which isn't so. He gave his life for us. He gave powers to those that believe in him that they may be called sons and daughters of God. There's a verse I love you so much in the bible and its "I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST THAT STRENGHTEN ME". We have potentials as humans. Those inventions you talked about is the end product of those potentials. Jesus came to the world to reconcile us back to God not to help us invent aeroplanes or weapon of mass destruction. He came to the physical world to connect us to the spiritual realm. |

It is used for guidance, meditation and to know more about God. I don't see any contradicting verses in those verse you said. It was stated that Noah was drunk with wine and was uncovered in his tent, one of his son Ham saw the unclothedness of their father and told his two brothers Shem and Japheth and they both went took a garment went into their father's tent backward and covered his unclothedness, so where is the molestation and imbreeding you are talking about? 2Samuel 1 was talking about the death of Saul and Jonathan his son and how aggreived David was when he heard that Jonathan his friend is dead. The bible didn't accused David of adultery, it was stated as a matter of fact that David committed the sin of fornication and adultery and he was punished for it even though he later ask God for forgiveness. It must be noted that God in the OT give out judgement speedily to anyone who errs but we are now in the time of grace because Christ has died for us and given himself has a ransom for us. The bible is God inspired and that's why the words in the bible still affect our daily life even though it has been writing for over some thousand years. |

@Billy I quite agree with you to some extent, its true the bible says 'Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness' to make things clearly, let me refer you to John 1 'In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. The same was in the beginning with God, all things were made by him; without him was not any thing made that was made' Let's go further to John 1:14 And the WORD was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father,) full of grace and truth. In above passage, it can be gathered that Jesus was the WORD that was with God at the beginning and everything was made through him, with what John 1 says, it can be deduced that God was talking Jesus and the host of angels. We feel the presence of God all around us, we feel his energy but that doesn't mean God doesn't exist outside us, we are made to look like him, we are made in his image, God exist above us and he watch over us. 1 Like |

So the rail-project is a scam, that's wonderful, please I'm waiting for those scanned copy from your friends, don't forget that we already know that the project is PPP agreement. So I'm waiting. Don't disappoint, I know you have a pattern of not responding to some quote that you don't have answers too, if you hate Gov. Fash so much, why don't wait till 2015 and vote ACN out and vote in PDP or any other party or better still go join a political party or form one yourself and contest for Governorship position. |
