Obasanjo is merely speaking to justify rotation in ogun state. Even obasanjo will not support igbo presidency.. Meanwhile is this a confirmation that obasanjo will no be supporting buhari in 2019?
Even a "Flatinosis IPAD" like you does not expect anyone, Hausa or Yoruba, to support a Yiibo man for President of Nigeria..... judging by your disparaging comment.
The question should be: Does the Yiibos want to rule and be President of "NIGERIA"........ or President of "Biafra"?

The basic definition of GREED is when you want to "Eat your cake, ...and still have the same Cake on your plate afterwards"! shocked shocked

You cant continually wish EVIL for Nigeria as a country, call it a Zoo, support that terrorist called Nnamdi Kanu who was soliciting for 'arms' to wage war against Nigeria......... and still be clamouring for any of us (Yoruba or Hausa) to vote you as our President.

That would be so ridiculous.

You FIRST must chose, where you belong.

Its a SCAM by Access Bank!
What they are doing (not the first time) is to employ these young people as "interns/trainees" but use them for all manner of jobs meant for full-time employees.
They even give them a crash course for like one week and ask them to mount positions like Tellers, Cash officers, Marketers, Operations, e.t.c

......... but meanwhile, they pay them peanuts like they would pay an ordinary I.T student, at times just #35,000 monthly!

After using these guys as "cheap labour" for between two and four years, they refuse to retain them (after completion of the internship period!) and throw them out only to recruit another set of "exploited Cheap Labour".

You wonder why "internship" has suddenly risen form two years to FOUR YEARS? shocked huh
What are you teaching an intelligent Graduate in a banking job (the worst when it comes to repetitive tasks!) for One Year.... not to mention 4yrs?

But l dont blame Access bank (GTBank does similar thing), l blame those criminals at the NASS because if they knew their job and why they are in that NASS, they would have promulgated Laws that criminalise such "abuse of our Youths".
Imagine, 4yrs as "trainee"? Upon small pay and no 'guarranteed" future employment?

Bro, go back in history and read it all over again. In 1967, Igbos went home in their millions and declared their own country. You Yorubas along with your Northern masters started shouting 'one Nigeria' and came down to the East to fight for 3 years to bring Igbos back into 'one Nigeria'. What is it with you people? Since Lord Lugard came in 1914 to tell you people that you are Nigerians, all of you have gone crazy. Why not ask the Igbo man if Lugard is right about 'one Nigeria'. If you people cannot do without Igbos, come out and admit it. No Igbo man has ever gone to the North or to Yorubaland to fight for one Nigeria. But you Yorubas and your Northern masters came to the East to fight for 3 years because you guys cannot do without Igbos. Shame on you people for not being able to survive without the Igbos
You can do the same thing in 2017 instead of wining like cry-babies!

Folks please be wary of an individual called sova. You can check one of his threads here https://www.nairaland.com/1811572/project-installation-fitted-walldrobe-lagos/5.
This guy was recommended to me by Hajji Muftau but he bleeped up big time. Hajji right now is regretting sticking his neck out for him to get him jobs. I gave him a job to design, fabricate and install all my kitchen cabinets and closets for my build. Most of you here know my project. The scope of work is 4 kitchens and 14 rooms. He billed me for both materials and labour. He promised to deliver the work by November last year. He has collected so far 92.4% of the total sum of the project. Right now he has abandoned the job and not picking calls.

He only finished 1 of the four units. The other three units were left uncompleted. he didnt bring the granite slabs for all the remaining 3 kitchens neither did he finish all the kitchen cabinets and the closets for the remaining units.

Folks do not fall victims to this guy i beg you in the name of God especially those in diaspora.

The guy is not picking my calls neither Hajji Muftau's calls also. I will go to any length to recover my money but I thought I should warn any other person contemplating giving him jobs, don't waste your money o. I have done my part.
Seeing that those who recommend a Contractor/Artisan ..... (I have only ever recommended Abdulwastecx to QC-1 in his new project and he is yet to disappoint)... to a Client, mean well for both individuals, l have come to also accept that save for a very tiny few, most Contractors are dubious, to varying degrees!
The "horrible reality" of the Nigerian environment is that we are a "greedy lot", generally speaking.
We are people that dont show pity/empathy or any form of consideration for each other.

The "Rich Man" Client does not appreciate the "not so rich/Artisans" while the Artisans see the Client as someone they must "milk to death".
I have engaged an Artisan.... (This is someone that has probably never invested six years of his life in any form of education neither has he suffered himself to serious 'rigour of his trade' via a Trade School) ....who, when l responded that 'his charges are so outrageously high' compared to other Artisans like him, for the same type of job, retorted: "Oga, me too want to be changing Jeep like you, anytime l come to site"!

I was shocked and dont even know how to respond because he must have taught l was born yesterday or that we both have invested the same time and energy in ourselves, to be where we are today!

But the lesson l learnt form that experience is that "The Artisans see you as a passport to quick wealth" while forgetting that 'menial work' does not generate as much returns (due to the low investment in its set-up) as much as work that involves a lot of time & energy in learning it (such as tradesmen, professionals, e.t.c)
No matter how small the work you give them, they think each job should buy them a car and if the remuneration agreed cant buy then the car, they may as well steal your "building materials" or just swindle you of the money you paid them, without performing the required service!

This kind of talk leads to a 'consequence or behaviour' where Artisans/Contractors abandon a paid job and disappear with the money or just do it half-way or just "disappear with the Client's materials".

No matter how many head-pans a labourer can carry in a day, he cant have returns, as much as say a Doctor, working the same number of hours.
That is one of the reasons that 'people in the know' still value Education.

Without prolonging the story, l will suggest the following (because l am getting really angry at this trend!)
1.) Despite coming "recommended", you (Client) must know in your mind that all of them are the same, just a small difference, and to varying degrees! Apologies to the exceptional, 'tiny fraction' who are upright..... too many bad apples means l dont even go near the bunch!

2.) With the above at the back of your mind, next thing is to decide that YOU (Client) CANNOT trust the Contractor/Artisan 100%.

3.) Thus, you have to put in "check & balances" to "limit the possible damage".......... because there is certainly, likely going to be "damage" form these Contractors.

4.) Negotiate "labour fee" separately ...... Agree and document the agreement on Paper.
When "push-turns-to-shove", such agreement makes prosecuting such criminal Contractor/Artisans very easy and it also can even prevent any disagreement in the first place. (Dont mind that the Artisan claims he is not learned.......l have a portion that says l have "read and explained" the document to him in a language of his choise that he understands and willing append his signature/thumbprint.

Also, l make them sign for every money, being part of the agreed labour-fee, that they collect. I hate arguments because l may get angry.

5.) Ask Contractor/Artisan to list all the materials he would need, for the job

6.) If you have the time (if you are local), Go and buy your materials yourself and then hand it over. Watch its usage and ask questions.
Ofcourse, the 'material list' would have been properly "inflated" so the Artisan can either go back and sell the excess or take the required quantity while going back to collect the money for the excess.

8.) The above (No 6) will likely be the first time you and the Artisan will experience "friction" though he may just chill and act like he is not angry but trust me, you have "spoiled business" for him.

9) Be particularly wary of those Artisans who intentionally "charge below average price" because those one have a strategy to make you pay, through materials 'inflation of quantity' or outright stealing of your material or even duplicating the supplied "original material" for less quality ones which are cheaper.

10.) The scenario above may be different for a Diasporean: You are not around yet you are relying on your "recommended artisan" to be upright with you!
Its never gonna happen. Our environment is not designed to operate on 'full integrity'! That is just the ugly truth.

Just think about it
: if Nigerians can loot and share money meant to prosecute a war, a terrorist war that has snatched away over 200 girls (children that could be my own daughters or your daughters or their daughters) ...what then do you think is beyond "the Nigerian", when it comes to greed? huh huh

11.) So, you must operate from a position of distrust, when dealing with Contractors/Artisans in general.... and then let the Contractor/Artisan prove they can be trusted. A very scanty-few Contractors have proven that already. It is after this "proof of trust" that you can then start dealing with such ones based on trust.

12.) So, for a Diasporean, it means you need someone who you can delegate your "responsibility" to, while you are not around.
I said "responsibility" because, it is your "hard-earned money" and you have a duty to protect it.
By just "transferring money" into the recommended Contractor/Artisan's bank account, you are shirking in your own part of the responsibility!
Sad as it is, that is the reality of our times, our country, our people
.

You need to either employ a "neutral" person (not necessarily an expensive Consultant) with basic knowledge of "product pricing, bargaining and commitment to see things done thoroughly"...... and pay them for just that service (To ensure that your money is spent wisely, used to buy what you requested, in the right quantity and quality)

Let me quickly share something with you: My nature of work means at times, l am not always on ground to monitor my projects. I could be away for two or even three months at a go!
So, l engaged this Plumber who was supposed to do my plumbing work. We agreed on a 'fixed amount' for Labour fees and He gave me a very long list of plumbing material and accessories, all inflated to about 50% - 70% extra in terms of price and quantity required!
He kept asking me to bring money so he can go buy the stuff but l kept stalling until l have the time, then l went to the Depot, got all the things (bought less of everything, got Pipes that are 3.2mm thick (for which he would have bought 1.7mm even at a higher price!) though l am willing to fill-in any shortage, from local supplier but it will be very minimal).
He used them and we even had a few left and in all, l saved around 700K. Same thing happened when l went to buy the Steptile Roofing sheet from the Factory. The inflation on that one would have cost me over a million Naira! I had so much excess.

You just have to create the time or get someone to step-in for you .........or you be ready to be swindled big-time.
It all depends on which is most profitable/valuable to you (Your time, your money, your material

13.) At times, you can just be around, no matter how much you try!
In such case, l will urge you to adopt the "Egungun Strategy" : Do your project "little-by-little", in short bursts, when you could make it down to Nigeria. I am sure he has saved himself a ton of money, ensured his job was properly done, to agreed standard and taste. It requires some sacrifice, ofcourse! YOUR REST TIME.

14.) Another interesting issue l have observed over time in my builds is that Artisans behave funny, when you pay them majority of the agreed fee before the job is started or done half-way.

Here is what happens: Let us assume the labour fee for a masonry/bricklayer job was agreed at #300,000.
The Artisan will promise to bring his "army of workers" to your site and finish the job in no-time (ofcourse we all love that).
He then uses that "promise of many workers", as a leverage to tell you to "advance him half or a large chunk of the Labour fee"! shocked
If you oblige, you do so on the assumption that he would "keep his own part" of the bargain .... but that is not the Nigerian way of doing things!
We are never "gentlemanly" about agreements!
undecided
He will impress you on the first day by bringing a few men but after that you will notice a drastic reduction in number of workers. To compound that, he will start asking for more money! God help you if you dont have an agreed payment schedule.
It so happens that when the project is about 50% complete, he has already collected about 80% of the labour fee.

At this point, he has you in his pockets (or has you by the "balls", if you are the naughty type like me! grin )
He will either ask you to re-negotiate the price (and if you refuse, he will simply abandon your job and run away! It is now left for you to start chasing him around using your valuable time and some of them, you dont know their house or they come from very afar places that it is unprofitable to use resources to chase them around).
he is just no longer "motivated" to complete your work! he is looking for another job that can fetch him "fresh money". undecided

The alternative is to grudgingly agree to increase the "agreed" labour price!

My advice:
1.) Always have a drawn-out agreement with anyone whose labour fee is over #20,000.
a) Specify the Job schedule
b) Specify the agreed labour fee
c) break the work into small chunks or milestones (representing percentage of job completion) and attach a payment schedule to the COMPLETION of each chunk/milestone.
d.) Ensure that you never pay up to (not even above), the "level of work done at any stage" of the project.
Typically, l will pay a minimum of 10% less of the work done at any stage but l stick to 20%.
At completion of all specified job, l pay the balance of 30 or 25% outstanding .... but please, NEVER OWE your Artisans so that God will not be angry with you!
They finish, you pay them their balance the same evening. No Long Story. It is Evil to owe anyone who sweats on your build less you allow calamity to befall you in that build.

I always advice my own artisans to use the bulk money l give them after completion of work (sometimes as much as #150,000 - #200,000 to buy a "Tool of their Trade" which would make their work easier, better and faster. My Bricklayer even bought a small Concrete Mixer and my Welder bought Big, noisy Generator so he does not have to depend on Nepa and therefore not disappoint customers on the basis of power fluctuation)

The flip side to the above is that my Artisans dont "attempt" to run away without completing my jobs because they know they have "more to lose" if they dont complete the job.
I also dont have to worry about chasing any Artisan and will generally call their bluff if they misbehave as l have the leverage.
It makes my life easier as l am always pressed for time (my Holidays) when l am building so, time really counts and l dont want to waste it "dealing" with an errant Artisan (I am sure @FastShipper would have wished he does not have to arrest that his Window Fabricator before things start moving?).

For those Artisans/Contractors (a very tiny few) who have built their reputation on honesty, integrity and quality, I SALUTE YOU.
For those who think they are smart and can play games, we shall also be ready to deal with you (even if we have to pull resources together).
Rome was not built in a day and if you do a honest job and do more jobs, with some level of "funds management", you will eventually get to where you dont even dream of.
Dont forget, Julius Berger is someones name, Robert Pierce of "Pierce Construction" is somebody, just to mention two.
These "business" started from one person and developed a reputation "over time", that has now gone "global".
It did so based on GOOD REPUTATION..... not scamming customers, running -away with their money or leaving uncompleted jobs everywhere.

Clients are not fools, so stop trying to take advantage of their trust or absence.
Honesty is what grows and prosper business..........Those who Cheat others, will ALWAYS lack in life.

BTW. God answers prayers!
I am not just saying this, l am a living witness to multiple examples of hopeless situations that l prayed fervently and God ANSWERED my prayers!

Over the years, l have been trying to see if l can "get a formula" that makes God to answer prayers (my own prayer) so l can share it with others because it is a wonderful feeling, more so that l am not a "church-person" like that (I go to church when l am moved to go but that is it) but l have not been able to pin it down properly.

I am not even a "righteous person" nor am l the best behaved (l dont even pay Tithe because l think it is a scam! but l have a compassionate heart to help anyone in need). I am not the "usual boxes" that you can tick when it comes to what we all percieve or are told by the preachers, as "what God wants" from us!

So, WHY did God always listen to my prayers?
I "suspect" (l said "suspect" because l am not sure) it "may" has to do with that "I pray honestly" to God
I 'try' to be good to others
I 'try' to be honest
I do not take what belongs to others (That is a red Flag for me).

But l am sure that l have a "personal relationship with God, which allows me to enjoy His GRACE" because l think l get what l do not merit from God.... so it has to be mostly "the Grace of God" towards me.
I think god can be partial at times... he is partial towards me, and l am loving it.

Happy Sunday to everybody.

[s]MMM promised to switch over to a new model that will take care of fake pops, non- confirmation of orders, GHing not exceeding PHing etc. The new model in view promises to be the solution to the sustainability of the mmm community.

This was the major reason for the one month freezing period to give programmers time to complete and implement the new model!

UNFORTUNATELY, PROGRAMMERS COULDN'T MEET UP WITH THE TARGETED RESUMPTION DATE OF JAN 14th.

And because the mmm admin didn't want to disappoint the mmm faithfuls the promised resumption date which would have given the media another round of headline BREAKING NEWS, thereby causing unnessary panic, they proceeded to reopen still running with the old model!

What is going on right now is the final stages of test running the new model before its implementations. This is the reason for some of the delays in matching and some hitches seen in the system.

If you observed few days ago, the captcha was changed from numeric to alpha numeric and later changed back to numeric. These are signs of some of the on going upgrades and test running the new model.

What is required from all participants at this point is PATIENCE!
PATIENCE PATIENCE!

Then whilst waiting patiently, all mmm participants should teach their DLs the right ideology of mmm and also speak well of the community. Remember what you say is what you have!

MMM is me and you. MMM has no central account where we put in our money so Mr Mavrodi does not owe any one of us money.

The same way Mark Zuckerberg created facebook & gave the world a platform where people could connect with family & friends is also the same way Mr Mavrodi has created and given us a platform to use and help ourselves..

What we make out of this platform is entirely up to us![/s]

It's important that all participants understand the ideology of mmm and how it works. What sustains the community is constant PH/GH/PH. Not just PH/GH. Pls note the difference.

After the resumption, many came only to GH their money and didn't PH anything back to the system. The question is WHO DO YOU EXPECT TO PAY YOU?? A GHOST OR MAVRODI HIMSELF?
Definitely not. You need a fellow participant to pay you with the PH ORDER made.

[s]And for those that have been matched to PH, kindly pay up your orders without fear.

MMM cannot crash, except it's servers are wiped off completely, which is not possible.

God bless you all as we change the world TOGETHER ![/s]
I am happy that despite all the deceptions in the above write-Up,(which l have crossed-out) the above poster who obviously a top participant or someone up the ladder, has been able to give a concise description of what the MMM scheme is all about.

I recall that when l wrote and explained to participants, in December that MMM does not invest in any business, does not create any wealth and that claiming to be able to pay and sustain a 30%, monthly return on invested fund is sheer deceit! All the scheme does is Rob Peter to pay Paul.... until there is no more Peter to rob and the scheme crashes suddenly.

People said l should be quiet, its their money and its non of my business since l did not participate.

But the bolded in the post of the quoted poster is just a rephrase of the same worry l raised.

He asked: Who do you expect to Pay YOU (GH), when less people put (PH) money into the system? (put differently, who will pay (GH) Paul, when there are no more foolish Peters to invest (PH)
he then ask sarcastically: Is it Mavrodi himself or a GHOST! shocked shocked grin grin

So, basically, he is telling you that If you like, dont put more money into the system, that is your headache!
And his statement shows that whether anyone likes it or not, the system is not designed to last forever but to crash at the point where more people realize that this is just a scam (many bring-in money and a few cream-off part of the money leaving the remainder for the majority to fight over!) and then decide to drop-off and at the tail end, some people's money get trapped!

Sounds like Wonder bank, right? WRONG!
Even wonder bank has a better strategy in that it traded with the money it got from people . It created wealth/money.
It ran into problem, like all Pyramid scheme because it promised an interest rate that was unrealistically TOO HIGH for it to generate.
ofcourse, those at the peak of the pyramid paid themselves! it is the foolish ones below that get shafted.

Even if more people get convinced to put more money (PH) into this MMM, it is just extending the evil day because these new money can only be used to pay (GH) the vultures waiting, hoping and convincing you, (the gullible fools who despite all the signs and signals of today, will still put-in more money!) to put more money (PH) into it.
By the time they use your money to pay 30% profit for a few, your money will dry-up at a point because that 30% is not coming from Mavrodi neither is it coming from a GHOST
! grin grin

This is the CRASH POINT.

The Scheme might trick you and get a few people to "brave it" and put-in more money but l can authoritatively FORECAST that this scheme will undoubtedly have crashed in the next three months.

Bookmark this post if you will and l will see you in three months time......... though it may be earlier.

Mind you, l have no single pity for those who lost their money because:
1.) They are Greedy! They think Mavrodi did Money Ritual nii?
2.) They are Greedy again! Mavrodi warned them to only use "money that can be lost" (knowing that loss is a confirmed end-game of the scheme) but the greedy ones used all their "important funds" (School fees, church money, house rent, food money, business capital, e.t.c)
3.) They are arrogant: They abused all of us that sounded a voice of caution and told us to eff-off, it is their money!
4.) They are Greedy again! Greed robs a man of his logical reasoning ability! All they see is 'money-doubled" out of thin air! undecided

Finally, it is still non of my business so why am l even preaching sef!

Ousted President of Gambia, Yahya Jammeh has spoken for the first time since he was forced to vacate office.

In a speech broadcast on state TV, Jammeh said, “My decision to step down wasn’t dictated by anything but in the interest of the people of Gambia. All this while, as a Muslim and a patriot, I believe it is not necessary that a single drop of blood be shed.

“I have decided today in good conscience to relinquish the mantle of leadership of this great nation with infinite gratitude to all Gambians. I promise before Allah and the entire nation that all the issues we currently face will be resolved peacefully.

“My decision today was not dictated by anything else but the supreme interest of you, the Gambian people and our dear country. I’m proud and honoured to have served our country, the Gambia.”

Ending his speech, he thanked his mother, wife and children for all their prayers and support throughout the 22 years he ruled the country.

Eeehn!

So you just "suddenly" became or remembered you are MUSLIM when ECOMOG Forces entered Gambia or is it not the same Gambian people that voted you out?

This speech is what you should have given before military forces were mobilised against you .... not when you knew the Gambian Army has deserted you and your azz will end-up in a very dirty jail in one African country.

Dont start pretending and forming statesman, like our own Gootluck, we know when a man is afraid for his life, when we see one.

Thats where 'zombie' Nigerians get it wrong. If the security agents have to use force to prevent impending chaos, must that use of force be shooting people? Cant the the use watee cannos? Tear gas? Shooting up in the air? Batons and other things that wont necessarily result in loss of life? Shooting should always be last resort. Will the Nigerian security forces prove that they had no other option but to shoot? Of course they wont. This sort of lawless Nigeria is what the Biafrans dont want to belong to. Donald Trump was inaugrated today, there was violence from many non Trump supporters. The security agents used tear gas, peper spray, water spray and other non life threathening ways of crowd control. So fatmr, no one has been killed and no guns fired.

If Nigeria is not yet advanced enough to move past 'shoot now ask questions later', then let it grant independence to others who have a more civilised outlook on life. Lord Lugard brought us all together, it does not mean we must all die together
Did anyone protesting trump's inauguration SNATCH/ROB innocent people's BAG and CELLPHONES?

@Naija9090 exactly I had that question in mind, why do Igbos hate Yorubas? The hatred is so uncalled for, is it as a result of envy or cowardice. Igbos want to secede yorubas don't want to then how does that turn into tribal war, I don't have anything against you igbos but the hausas have ruled, have exploited and also killed you but you come here to shout Afonja. Loomer gave out a simple advice sit at home, truly is that lad lying on the floor life not wasted he died for trump not your Kanu, not for Africa. I am really ashamed of both the Nigerian army and protesters it is really demeaning to me as an African, america swore in a president Nigeria bleeds. And it will really be nice for every right thinking Nigeria to condemn such brutality cause we are in this together and truly buhari fall my hand. Dude answer my question why do igbos hate yoruba? Is it envy or cowardice? Don't cover up ur sh*t with insult. Too as for suen and his mods in a forum where anybody can open a thread won't it be nice to search for a proper before moving such information to the front page and do you know the uproar that will come after if the thread is not properly investigated. Get rid of all these behaviours that some people hate you and also clash is like a violent argument is gun shooting not violent, blocking the road is wrong and probably there might a be confrontation.
Do most Yiibos hate Yorubas? You bet, especially the half-literates amongst them
Question is WHY?

1.) Yiibos are arrogant and an arrogant person never sees his own failings: They blame Yorubas for all their failings, forgeting that "owo'wni laf'intun iwa ara'eni se (Your destiny is in your own hands). The Yiibos keep commiting a lot of blunders, but are too arrogant ot accept responsibility for it. It is easier for them to Blame Yourbas, hence the Hatred.

2.) After the civil war, Yiibos have been plotting to "push" Yorubas into a war that would decimate Yorubas. But Yorubas are just too smart for their antics and this makes them really angry! grin grin
Are you surprised they always say Yorubas are "cowards"? ....simply because they REFUSED to take the Bait! grin grin
The average Yiibo has a "soft button" which you can easily push and he will go out of control completely!
It is only after he has committed many gaffs that he will realize his error (while still not accepting it). That is "Gra-Gra" for you

Yorubas on the other hand are very "cerebral" and like to "think things over first" before acting! And we all know that such people hardly make mistakes.
This is what the "Gra-Gra" Yiibos foolishly term as 'cowardice'!
The Yiibos hate Yorubas for this as well.
They are really frustrated that the average Yorbas cannot be tricked, baited or pushed into doing something he/she does not intentionally want to do.

3.)The Yiibos also hate the Yorubas because they think it was the Yorubas (using their top-notch cerebral power!) that made them lose the war!

To be honest, the Yorubas knew that they were not ready for the secession and told the Yiibos to "relax and not act now".
but as usual, the Gra-gra nation would hear nothing of that. They Boastful lot act first and think later so they went ahead.
Foolishly again, they were hoping the Yorubas would also be foolish and join them in seceding but the Yorubas looked around and knew that all the Western military garrisons have been populated with Northerners and they hold the Key to the armoury in the West!
Being smart people, they knew that "you cant start a war you can finish/win"........ and you cant win when you dont have the key to the weapon's store!
Yorubas decided to adopt the tried and tested cliche: "When the hand of a child has not beheld 'the Sword', he does not investigates his father's death".
The Yiibos started their foolish Biafra war and because they were losing and could not get Yoruba-support (Yorubas just stood aloof initially and it was strictly a Hausa vs. Yiibo war), they decided to "force the Yorubas" into fighting by bombing Western regions (Lagos, Benin, Ondo, e.t.c).
Yorubas gave them ample warnings but in their usual "miscalculative Gra-Gra", they kept pulling the Tiger's tail.
The long and short of it was that the Yorubas had no other choice than to defend their father's land and were drawn into the war.
Within a short time of entering the war, the Yiibos were completely decimated by a combination of "strategic, financial and military" manourvres initiated by Yorubas and the war came to a swift end: SURRENDER OF THE IGBO NATION.... to a Yoruba man by name Olusegun Obasanjo (OBJ).
For the above, the Yiibos have an eternal hatred for the Yorubas but like l said, they failed to accept responsibility for their failure to "control their anger, go into war unprepared, and their foolish military strategy of attacking the Western Regions of Yorubaland".

4.) The Yiibos, having failed in their political brinkmanship, having failed to "build bridges", having lost the TRUST of other tribes
, especially that of Northerners, (no one can trust a Yiibo man as a President of Nigeria! they mostly claim not ot be Nigerians sef!!)....see Goatluck Jonathan as the "closest they can get to the Presidency, despite the fact that it was actually the Yorubas that "made" Jonathan to be president (from OBJ selecting him for Yar Ardua, to notable Yorubas calling the bluff of Turai and her Northern cabals when they decided to field another Northerner, instead of allowing Jonathan succeed Yar Ardua! yes, Yorubas put their life on the line to make Jonathan the President in 2009 but the ungrateful oaf treacherously insulted Yorubas in return..... and we taught him a lesson in 2015 too, in return! undecided)

So, the Yiibos see Jonathan as the closest they can get to "Aso Rock", as President of Nigeria!
Now, he was also playing their game and also had a sinister agenda to bankrupt Nigeria as a country, lead it into "chaos" and then declare a Republic of the South-South (which the Yiibos dont mind as long as they can also use the opportunity to declare Biafra but in the long run, they intend to annex the Niger Delta, just like they did in 1967-69 civil war).
So, it was a shock, a rude one at that, that the Yorubas again, were instrumental in kicking Jonathan out of Power!
To them, it was like kicking Ojukwu out of Aso Rock, not minding that the Jonathan of a guy was a curse on this country, despite the amount of goodwill or goodluck that brought him to become President!
Thus, the hatred just got compounded! grin grin

Now that buhari is President, the Yiibos are really angry because most of them get rich through corrupt means (they call it 'hustle' or 'business', even if it is drug trafficking!) and Buhari is really tackling corruption and closing all the loopholes. be it by forex round-tripping, illegal import business, e.t.c.
The Yiibos blame Yorubas for this "badluck" of theirs, as a result of fighting corruption!
They are naturally "at home" with corruption and Buhari is their nemesis.

So, worry-not, the Yiibos have a lot of "dubious reasons" to hate Yorubas!
Having said that, the Yiibos can do nothing, achieve nothing .... except they either make peace with the Yorubas
(at least they can never elect a President within Nigeria except with the support of Yorubas)...the alternative is to secede but we all know they are not really interested in that, all the Biafra noise is just what it is: FRAUD!
if they really want to hold-onto their Biafra enclave, they would just issue an edict like : No Yiibo must come back to the West or other parts of Nigeria, when they went home for Xmas and New Year!
The fact that they are ready to pay extortionist price (through the greed of their "blood blodders"wink like #13,000 just to transport themselves back to Lagos, from Onitsha....... is indicative enough that Biafra is a "fraudulent game" being played by Yiibos, against Yiibos and for Yiibos!

Dont get bothered. They would make 'some' noise, misbehave, beat-chest, do some gra-gra at the Police, get shot, cry like babies and finally BLAME IT ON YORUBAS! grin grin grin

I just love ma Yiibo blooders.

The Report said "they were harassing people, snatching BAGS and HANDSET".
That is "break-down of law and order" 101.

Police have aright to intervene, as the people to disperse immediately (especially an unlawful gathering as that) and those that refuse would have to be given the treatment that "thieves" (snatchers of other people's belonging) are given.

Can you go about "snatching people's handbag and handsets" in the US....... and expect not tobe shot by the Police?
