Truckpusher:Wait a minute, l dont think l am one of those that like Obiageli .....and it dont matter anyway! From the sound of her name, she is obviously Igbo. I guess the BIG PROBLEM here is that "an intelligent Igbo sister" has decided not to suffer from this "herd and sheepish mentality" where everyone must toe the line and think along the same nexus! That she chose to be objective, that she chose to be intelligent (happy that you gave her that much credit), that she chose to be different, that she chose not to ride on the "waves" of tribalism, that she chose not to be a "Christian religious fanatic" who supports a Presidential Candidate simply because they share the same religion, that she chose to stand-out from the crowd of "follow-follow", she is not spewing the same hatred that you and yours truly spew on that "old cattle rearer" that you hope will die of cancer?.... Those are her offences and why she needs "protection" from the "goon being unleashed on her", right? So she is on the WRONG SIDE? ..... she is on the same side as these 'dirty Yolobas' She is on the same side as that Filthy mallam? She is assisting in putting that "No Cerbitcate Buhari" in Office? She is not blindly supporting "our tribes-man, (irrespective of whether he deserved it or not) but a Muslim from the detestable North!  Gosh, this Obiagali must be a black sheep!....This is our chance, these is Igbo Presidency and we must extend it as much as possible, even if it means Nigeria breaks into pieces, even if it means we plunge into another futile civil war and become like Yemen or Somalia, even if it means brothers start killing brothers across ethnic & language divide? Thing is, no matter what, there are good people in ALL TRIBES..... that is why at times, if the silly majority are saying annoying things, we must all think and take a step back... and think about the "sensible and intelligent few" still left in that tribe/race. It is not wrong to decide for Jonathan, if you are truly convinced that he has done better for this country, irrespective of his tribe, religion or language. In 2011, l am sure its not news that 90% of 'Yolobas' stood solidly and voted massively for Jonathan..... against this same Buhari! The question you should ask yourself are: Did they not know he is Igbo back then? Why did they still vote for him? Did they not see Buhari there yet "willingly" chose to vote for Jonathan? Why were they not called all sort of bad names, (Igbo hatrez, anti-Igbo, Hausa-slaves, stewpid people, e.t.c) or though to HATE Jonathan, back then? Point is, whether anyone likes it or not, EVERYONE has a duty to want the best for this country of ours.... and a free-mind to make the best choice, as they see it, based on FACTS.....and not some infantile reasons like Religion, Age, tribe, health, e.t.c. That majority of the same Yorubas who voted in Jonathan in 2011, chose to reject his candidacy this time around not because he is from S/south or Igbo (pick one) or because he is a Christian, or because they dont like his face or his shoes..... but because on the "Balance of Scale", they think he has tried his best in the last six years BUT his best (which no one can surpass) is NOT GOOD ENOUGH at this point in time of our national Development. It is not a sentimental decision, it is based on critical consideration of gamut of FACTS! No one is saying Jonathan is the worst we have ever had, No one is saying he has not tried his best, No one is even saying he should be crucified. What every one (at least people like me, like Obiageli and others who can make a decision without first factoring-in where the candidate is from) is saying is that "The QUALITIES we need now" for a President....are MOSTLY FOUND IN THAT "cattle-rearing, old, No-Cerbisticate, Muslim Mallam". MAJORITY OF FREE-THINKING NIGERIANS WANT A CHANGE Who knows, Jonathan is still young and he may still be opportuned to have another shot at the Presidency, in his life time, if God wills after-all, OBJ never knew he would rule this country TWICE, when he handed over in 1979! Also, Abacha never knew he would not last 1999...even when he was scheming to perpetuate himself in office. Those are lessons we must reflect on, instead of these rabid, threatening, do-or-die attitude that is driving the polity to the precipice. Leave Obiageli alone, if she has made her choice out of a free conscience, then let her be. Aftre the election is come and gone, we would all still make-up and still be friends. All Yorubas cannot be like Doyin Okupe (Okuugbe) or FFK... likewise, all Igbos cannot be like you or other men of the belly (otimkpu as we call them) that are currently fouling the air with their stale news. In Hundreds or in Billions of Naira? *What was the level of Insecurity back then compared to now? *How much HATRED do Nigerians (aside Power grabbers) have for themselves back then... and now? *What was the "International image of Nigerians" abroad...back then? *What was the level of Poverty and Hunger back then, compared to now? Finally, what was the level of INCOME into Govt coffers back then, ...compared to now? If we answer honestly, we would see that Nigeria is just going down the drain (Yes, there are a very few corrupt individuals who have become richer than Nigeria itself but that is just a very "minute number"  .Question is: How did we get to this level and what can we do about it? Most importantly: Elect the RIGHT LEADER: When the head is upright, the followers have no other choice than to be upright! *Chose leaders that are trustworthy, *Leaders that dont condone stealing *Leaders that dont divide us based on Religion or Tribe *Leaders that see themselves as "representing the country"...not just some Creek militants! *Leaders that dont connive with Generator sellers, to deprive us of Electricity *Leaders that dont sell our Assets to their cronies *Leaders that dont use the blood of innocents for "Political Rituals" *Leaders that dont lie to us and come back to befriend us when election is around the corner *Leaders that dont use BRIBE as their only means of getting votes! Now, make your Choice between Jonathan and Buhari based on these qualities... and you can justify it to your children in future. As for me, l have dumped cluelessness, ineptitude, "Stealing is not Corruption", Fake Trains, Six years of looting, running our Naira to the ground, lying to the nation, setting people against themselves, bribing church leaders, arming militants, sponsoring Boko haram for election gains, e.t.c I have embraced CHANGE! While S/Africa may just sell its own at $20,00 each to cover all costs and make profit. So, all things being equal, (lets even assume all other factors like quality of the vehicle are the same) in a globalized market place, who will buy the same vehicle for TWICE THE PRICE,... when they can get it cheaper elsewhere for HALF THE PRICE? If the Plant does not sell its STOCK, it will become short on operating funds (except maybe Jonathan will start subsidizing it as well, just like Fuel! )In a short while, it will fold-up! ...or perpetually depend on Govt subvention This is one of the reasons products from China for example, could sell very cheap (automation leading to mass production) We use to have the likes of Volkswagen, Peugeot, FIAT, and many more "Vehicle Assembly" in this country (and many more textiles industries who rely on constant power supply) in the past but one after another, they fold-up due to "bad operating environment". You can build a "White Elelphant Project" like this, just to fool those who have no sense but in a short while, your folly would be exposed. Okay, you guys think this is a joking matter abi?...but what a coincidence? You even went as far as giving them such fancy names as "Gonzales, Spiky"... when plain simple annoying names like "Kamoru" would have suffice?No offence to Kamoru, he is just the neighbourhood Bully that would never get off my mind, for over forty years when we were kids in the same Primary school! By the way, wifey told me car Wiper is no longer working and l find that impossible... for a new SUV that we hardly use? I did the normal checks and found that the Wiper Engine was working (wiper moves) but washer was not spraying water even though l had filled the bottle to the top? When l opened the hood, lo and behold, Kamoru and his kinsmen had turned the Engine compartment into an upscale 3-bed apartment, like it was Fashola's low-cost housing... except that this one if free! As l asked wifey to keep pumping the Wiper while l was wondering what could be the problem ..though l did notice some "oblong, evil smelling droppings" of Kamoru around the engine.... but what caught my attention was water dripping on my shoes like Kamoru was actually taunting me by urinating on my well-polished shoes! For a minute, l was like Kamoru, if this is true, l have to learn how to eat four-legeds like you as that is what would please me the most! When l looked down and closer, i realized that the water that was supposed to go through the hose into the wiper, was what was leaking on my shoes! Kamoru and his gangs have eaten the hose half way and thus the pressure was just leaking out with the water! I nearly cried, to think that upon that, he has ruined my shoes! I love animals but today, l decied that l have to invest in the best "Chop and Dry" that money can buy so off l went like l was shopping for something more important along the lines of a Valentine Gift for wifey! I bought assorted "weapons" that would shame even ISIS or Boko haram! From "Powdered" one, to "Book of Death" (yes, l sabi that one wella but the bastards in my area are known to know how to side step them or "connive together" to pull a "fallen one" out of its clutch!). I also bought a new type called "Biscuit". ......Solid, evil-smelling and looks like a Biscuit! I was grinning when l came back home that wifey looked at me curiously and asked if some under-Gee had made a pass at me on my way back? I cleaned up the Engine area and laced everywhere with my WMD and invited Kamoru to try me again! Luckily, the hose was not very expensive but nothing has given me much pleasure, waking up on a Monday morning, which is not very pleasurable, than to find some "king-size kamoru" and his entire clan, sprawled in very oblique positions and one "leaner" amongst them who came late to the party, was still in the throes of death! The way he jerked and wriggled, with saliva foaming around the corners of his twitching mouth... Cheesux! I never knew l have the capacity to derive so much joy from watching a horror movie like Kamoru's cousin gasping for breath! I had to ask for forgiveness afterwards because l could almost have had an orgasm from the pleasure. They cleared all my "Biscuits" and l in-turn, cleared all of them so much so that neighbours were giving their own "testimonies and thanking me" for being pro-active! Next time you have a problem with the Kamorus, please dont even bother with the "Book of Death".... "Biscuits" are the bomb! "We haar now Dishiital, we haar no longer hanalog" .....in Mama P's voice! Its really very strange hearing this from Jonathan! First, "election date" was set over ONE YEAR ago. Jonathan knew this just as anybody. HE did not say "I will wipe out Boko Haram in SIX MONTHS". fast forward to february 7th: Jonathan uses Boko Haram as an "excuse" to postpone the election. after achieving his "aim" of election postponement,.. He comes out the NEXT DAY and boasts that Boko Haram will be wiped out in TWO WEEKS! Question arising for any SENSIBLE PERSON is: *What was he waiting for, in the last ONE YEAR that he did not "work this hard"? *What has "changed" within the last one week that suddenly "returned this man's "balls" under his legs, that he is so confident? *Does he not show that as C-in-C, he always had the capacity to ensure the Army wipes out this terrorists.... but DELIBERATELY chose not to Finally, the Question is WHY? That last question is a no-brainer: He needed to let the violence continue so he can use it, as he has just done. What he did not acknowledge is that like his blood-sucking wife (Bayelsa women), his inaction has cost the lives of thousands of innocent people and soldiers... If it matches, then you are cleared to go and vote......
