That's what "Okay, that's how it is" erhn?

The neighbour woman from Kwara State extinction and having tribal marks, heard I couldnt sleep, so came to my aunt, who was petrified thinking I was going to die, as she has never seen anything like that happening to anyone like that in her entire life and being that even my uncle wasnt at home, as he was away for the weekend or something like that.

Anyway this Kwara woman, as I said, came to my aunt, with a small brown bottle of guinness. I couldnt tell the exact content of this bottle, but know it had tree or plant barks in it, with maybe a tinge of alcohol or gin and it was concentratedly fermented with what else I dont know. Well, she told my aunt that in the morning, very early, my aunt should give me a spoonful of what's in the guinness bottle, but that before then, to make sure there is a potty kept next close by me when given the bottle's concoction. Morning came, aunty dutifully gave me a spoonful of the dang thing, chai, it tasted unpleasant, vile and horrible. It was highly concentrated, it fill me with revulsion and sent my entire being into a vicious, wild convulsion. My body literally shook, then all of a sudden, I had this strong feeling and sense of wanting to vomit. I quickly made gestures to pass me the frigging potty, and when given, I retched into it. My body was arching and doubling up with spasms, as I took bouts of retching up these mixture of nasty looking goblets of green yellow and white sputum from my lungs and/or respiratory tract. The potty was full up and the aftermath was instant relief. I had no more wheezing sounds, no more struggling to breathe in air, no more unable to easily breathe, no more clasping on my waist just in order to get some gulp of air in, no more inconvenience, no more misery. Aah, it was instant relief and it seemed like I never just a few seconds ago was highly asthmatic or just 2 minutes ago was suffering from asthma.

Inhalers are no match to this woman's authentic indigenous or traditional African medicine

Wow!! How interesting. I have always believed that local herbal cures exist for many ailments, unfortunately a lot of people do not know about it, and many of the older generation that do, are already taking the secrets away with them, to their villages or their graves.

How I wish you could still locate this woman and get hold of her medication. By refining and bottling it, you could become the next Anita Roddick making millions from organic healthcare/ bodycare products.

I remember when I was younger and had asthma, my grandmother used to make a concoction with neem leaves, lemon grass and a few other things. It gave me some relief by reducing the wheezing for a period of time, but didn't get rid of the asthma totally though.

Please stop trivialising these issues. Oga, I posted an article in this section that shows that some people's system never stop reacting to allergens and other stuff. Kindly read up all you can about different studies done abroad concerning asthmatics.

There are doctors who say a patient can go into remission for some years, only for the asthma to flare up again years later....

Even abroad, many doctors have now realised that athsmatic patients can go into remission for years, only for the asthma to flare up again much later.

The friends u lost could have died as a result of many other things, no-one does autopsy in Nigeria.

The friends I lost died as a result of asthma. They had suffered bad asthma attacks at different times, but unfortunately their conditions got worse. One got medical attention but still passed on, while the second one who lived in a different city, was unable to get to a hospital in time for treatment.

Please I beg of you, do not trivialise the pain or suffering they went through, as they are no longer on this side of eternity.

Asthma is not am illness, it's just a problem with immumo response.

It is highly insulting, telling someone who has suffered from asthma or is still suffering from it, that asthma is not an illness. In the UK, once it is medically proven that you are asthmatic, you can collect disability allowance.

People have described the debilitating asthmatic symptoms they suffer here, and you trivialise it as merely a problem. Jeez!

The next sensible think for your busola to do is to report to law enforcement agent, to try and proof her accusations right. That which you rightly pointed out that she had done ,now the police are yet to come out with the outcome of their findings ,neither had the court pronounced the man guilty , but your mind was already made up that the man is guilty as accused. We reason differently, and I was brought up to always think outside the box ,and to always weigh issues critically before jumping to occlusion. Neither you nor I was an eye witness to this occurrence, then the need to be cautious in jumping into conclusion, so as not to hurt the innocent soul .

Secondly, the pastor never said that what Busola said were mere fabrication. He merely said he has never raped anybody, while giving a pack of watery excuses.

He did not deny knowing Busola;

He did not deny having carnal knowledge of her, he only denied the rape;

The pastor did not take up each point made by Busola to address each one directly, by providing his own alibi or version of the events that took place, unlike what Apostle Suleiman did when falsely accused by Otobo;

The pastor's mentors and close friends have come out to pray for healing of his victims, and restoration of the pastor. They would not have done so, if they were not privy to the fact that he was indeed in the wrong, in this case;

Do you pray for restoration for someone who has not fallen, or who has not missed the mark in some way? No. Neither do you pray for healing for a victim if that victim has not suffered physical or emotional abuse or damage in some way;

Obviously, there is more that his mentors and close friends know about his misdeeds, that you do not. And they have taken the right step by advising him to step down and praying that his victim gets healed.

Yet, you are here arguing blindly and castigating the victim, while belittling those who do not support the pastor.

Continue.....there is a day of reckoning for everything and everyone.You do not want to hurt a soul that you think is "innocent", but you are ready and willing to vilify a victim who has been wronged.

In the scenery above , the law of moses implies that adultery equals death, and they brought the woman to jesus, telling him what she did, you will noticed they are yet to pass judgement here ,an accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty .Jesus was seen as a judge and so warrant the bringing of the accused before him, in the bible spiritual leaders often performed the function of judges, refresh your memory by reading the book of judges in the bible. If jesus actually wanted to passed judgement he would had ordered her there and then to be stoned ,but the mere fact that he told her not to sin again is to show you he did not passed any judgement rather admonished the woman to change her way . The busola /Biodun issue is totally different here someone accused the pastor of rape without substantiate proof, and the pastor said nothing like that happened ,and instead of waiting for the case to be investigated ,we were jumping into conclusion. Trying to apply the old testament to this case, shows you are either trying to stand the facts on their head, or trying to pull the wool over people's eyes.

Busola made an accusation, which the pastor was unable to refute. She even sued him to court, in order to ensure that justice was served. What did the pastor do? He gave some watery excuses and went into hiding.

The Bible says he who confesses his sins and forsakes them shall find mercy. Has the man done so? No! Instead his supporters like you, are trying to paint him as a saintly figure, who has done no wrong.

There is nothing in the Bible that says we should ignore evil or cover up wrong doing. In fact, it says woe to him by whom offences come!

A pastor who has been given the spiritual care of God's flock, chooses to abuse that position, and yet you are chastising his victim? May God forgive you....just ask yourself, if Busola was your sister or daughter, would you still say the same thing??

Really?? And where did you hear this one? I have seen adults suffering from asthma. I suffered from it until adulthood. I lost 2 friends to asthma. One was an older friend in his early 50s. So I don't know where you got this theory from....

What judgement should Jesus have passed on her? Those who brought her to Jesus did not ask him for judgement. They were seeking justification to stone her.

And stoning is a punishment, not judgement. Jesus did not pass judgement on her, because there was no need for him to do so. Her sin was clear. Her remorse and repentance was visible. So what next?

Has the pastor acknowledged his sins, like the woman caught in adultery? Has he repented and shown remorse? These are the main issues.

By chanting "don't judge," like you have been doing, you are just exonerating wrong doing, and covering up illicit actions. Did Apostle Paul do that?

The same Lord Jesus judged the Pharisees in Matthew 23 v 13 and said to them: " Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to..." Why did he judge them? Because they did not acknowledge their wrongdoings or repent of it.

The woman in questioned was caught in the act , meaning with undeniable proof , but the pastor in question was just a mere allegation that is still yet to be substantiate , so if jesus refused to pass judgement on her, so who are you to pass judgement on that which you aren't party to

Jesus knew she was guilty, so which judgement should have been passed again, when the facts were clear? He only wanted her to stop sinning.

In the case of the pastor, has he decided to stop sinning? By asking that he should come clean about his sins, does that mean he is being judged?

Please stop reading the Bible upside down, and kindly stop covering up wrong doing I beg of you. Such actions bring Christianity into disrepute.

In 1st Corinthians 5 v 1, we see Apostle Paul condemning sin openly, saying that he had heard reports of sexual immorality among the brethren, and that a man was having his father's wife! Why did Paul speak so openly against immorality in the church? Why didn't he say "judge not?"

There is nothing in the Bible that says we should turn a blind eye, to wrong doing. In fact, it says clearly that judgement will start from the house of God.

At 14, Alyssa Flanagan’s asthma symptoms all but disappeared.

Since the age of 4, she had been hospitalized a few times each year -- once in the intensive care unit - when her colds turned into coughing, wheezy pneumonias. Asthma loomed large in her life.

“The simplest explanation is that I’ve outgrown it, or for some reason, there was an immune trigger that’s not present anymore,” says Flanagan, now a 30-year-old medical resident at the University of Illinois-Chicago.

Flanagan says she’s aware her asthma could flare again. Even if symptoms go underground, they can resurface in adulthood.

Why Flanagan is, so far, among the lucky ones is something of a medical mystery.

Without a long-term epidemiological study of young asthmatics in the U.S., it’s impossible to determine who might go into remission, says Gary Rachelefsky, a professor of allergy and immunology at UCLA.

WebMD went to a few experts to shed light on the subject.

If a child no longer has asthma symptoms, can you assume the asthma is gone, too?

Kids may become asymptomatic, but the “chronic stuff” in their lungs probably doesn’t go away, says Derek K. Johnson, a pediatric allergist in Fairfax, Va. Only a biopsy of lung tissue would offer certainty about the state of a person’s airways.

“To follow changes (that occur in a person’s asthma), you need to look at it on a microscopic level. It’s not something we do routinely,” says Johnson, the former director of the division of allergy and clinical immunology at Temple University Children’s Medical Center in Philadelphia.

Why do asthma symptoms disappear for some kids and not others? Some working theories:

As a child gets bigger, so do the airways in his lungs. Inflammation of airways, an asthma hallmark, could go on unnoticed, Johnson says.

Children who wheeze only when they have a cold or other upper respiratory virus tend to improve with time, he says.

Children who are sensitive to allergens from a young age tend not to improve, Rachelefsky says.

His observation is backed up by findings from a nine-year study of more than 1,000 asthmatic children that found fewer allergy-related antibodies, in those who became symptom-free.

Children with eczema, a skin disorder characterized by itchy rash, or a family history of asthma are likelier to have lasting asthma symptoms.

The more severe the asthma past the age of 5, the likelier symptoms will continue, with or without allergies, Rachelefsky says.

How do I know if my child really does have asthma?

A doctor's work-up will start with a medical history including symptoms (such as wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath) and family history. A physical exam will also be done.

Pulmonary function testing with spirometry can provide information about lung function and severity of the asthma. A chest X-ray may be ordered to help visualize the lungs.

Allergy testing can be done to determine if allergies play a role in symptoms. Additional tests may be done to investigate other causes of symptoms.

If my child no longer has asthma symptoms, could it be that he was misdiagnosed with the disease?

Perhaps. Rachelefsky says a lot of children diagnosed with asthma don’t have it and many asthmatics go undiagnosed.

“Spirometry is standard, but many physicians in primary care practices don’t have a spirometer. They diagnose sinusitis as asthma and mistake asthma for esophageal reflux,” he says.

But for children under the age of 2, it is difficult to do spirometry to test for asthma. When a child is that young, providing a diagnosis “is an imperfect science,” says Reynolds J. Panettieri Jr., a pulmonologist with the University of Pennsylvania.

“If you have true asthma, you don’t outgrow it,” so young children who are wheezing from a viral infection that hangs around for a long time may not have asthma but “twitchy” or hypersensitive airways that are a holdover from the virus, he says.

Yes, our Lord Jesus wrote on the floor but he told her to go and sin no more. This meant that he knew she was guilty of sinning, but He wanted her to stop it, and refrain from repeating it.

By quoting this scripture, you are acknowledging that Pastor FB sinned by having unlawful carnal knowledge of Timi Dakolo's wife, so he should go and sin no more?

Are you saying he is guilty of the sin of adultery and rape, so he should not repeat it? Because that is what this scripture is saying. Jesus never said that the woman did not commit sin, o!

He went for a program, he was led by the spirit to take his wife along which wasn't his plan and no one knew his wife was coming, on getting to the hotel they heard a knoch some minutes thinking it was the hotel service. You are saying he is a pastor and should uphold morality. Good. Did he uphold morality when he had unlawful carnal knowledge of an under-aged girl, or when he was having illicit sexual relations with another woman in a hotel room?

Aren't these supposed to be classified as infidelity, which is seen in the 6th commandment outlined in Exodus 20 v 14?

As for saying the girl embezzled church funds, what year did the embezzlement take place and how did she get access to church funds? Was she the church's accountant or a trustee of the church? What actions were taken against her, if truly such a thing occurred?

As for Pastor Kumuyi, I thank God for his life. True men of God will always be able to escape temptation.

Has anybody ever come out to accuse Pastor Kumuyi, or Adeboye or Oyedepo of any such immoral acts? No. Because they know how to live godly lives, and flee from all appearance of evil.

May the grace of God and the anointing upon the lives of these men, continue to increase....

John the Baptist did not cover up evil. He condemned it in clear terms. That was why he was killed.

Apostle Paul did not shy away from exposing evil committed by fellow Christians. He spoke against it strongly. So did many other people and prophets in the Bible.

So where you got this idea that Christians should keep quiet, when one of them commits an offence is unclear. And people like you come out to sweep evil actions and disgusting offences under the carpet, by citing the verse of "don't judge..."

Sorry sir. Go back and read the Bible again. The no of people who spoke against evil and condemned it, is far greater than those who saw it and kept quiet. Some even had the courage to rebuke kings when they went wrong.

But today's Christians prefer to overlook wrongdoing. May God forgive them for they know not what they do..

Your own example of a lady taking a phone to video a guy and accuse him of rape, is totally different from the case of this COZA pastor, that is notorious for having carnal knowledge of his members.

If you were accused of the same thing, would you busy keep quiet, or go all out to clear your name of such allegations?

In fact, I am one of those praying that the case goes through trial in court, so that the pastor can expose himself through his testimony and statements on the stand. Then the whole issue will be revealed as he incriminates himself in front of witnesses.

Licensed or not, the story that people outgrow asthma is still a myth. I have met medical consultants at home and abroad, who have repeated firmly that it is not possible for people to outgrow asthma. My last check up was done at Queen Mary Hospital in London, and my consultant said the same thing in clear terms.

Oga, please learn to read with understanding. I am a living testimony, that God heals people of asthma. I was born with asthma. I suffered from it for many years, until I was nearly 18 years old.

Due to a lot of prayers and God's intervention, I was healed miraculously during an anointing service. And that is my testimony. I am not ashamed of it.

Why should I be ashamed that God took an ailment out of my life? Do you know the toll it takes on your health and finances? If any asthmatic person is offered a cure on a platter of gold, do you think he will not jump for joy?

Go to many churches and see people praying for healing and miracles. May you not be afflicted with an ailment that is greater than your capability....

Exactly! Unless God heals you of asthma, like He also did in my case, that thing will stay with you for life. You can take only manage it. I know 2 people who died of asthma, a few years back. One was in his 50s. May God rest his soul.
