The MCU has raked in more revenue than the DCEU that its not even a joke (pun intended); Joker is yet to surpass any of the Avengers films when it comes to Box Office ROI math. Not to mention Marvel has had a more steady success than DC. Also Dark Phoenix is not even the biggest Marvel flop. Fant4stic is. And a couple of DC movies have tanked worse than Fant4stic including Green Lantern and Steel.

There was little to no marketing budget and that's why it was estimated to 70mil(which is even a stretch by fans that just to be safe cos it's 60mil on Wikipedia)...only production was 55mil and it has broken even already

I know the fact that venom is spiderman's villian, my point is that the venom movie didn't portray him as a villian but as an hero. They even gave him a villian, the only difference is that he doesn't/didn't have a don't kill principle which other heroes have.
