According to the research I did with.the IFA divination system, we choose our parents while in heaven and we can only incarnate through our descendants. When you give birth as a man, you are giving birth to an incarnation of one of your ancestors or an incarnation of one of your spiritual children that you gave birth to in heaven. Cross incarnation between cultures can only happen as a result of intermarriage. |
China's sovereign wealth fund 361.7 billion dollars was made in profit by state owned companies in China in only one year!. China is living the dream of the founders of the Oodua group in the defunct Action Group of Nigeria. When the WNDC was established in 1959 that was the dream. Now, no one really knows the asset size of the Oodua group. It is a closely guarded secret. China's sovereign wealth fund is worth a staggering 12.6 trillion dollars as at today. In short, China made more than ten times the 2025 budget of Nigeria from the business interests or profit seeking ventures of the Chinese government in China and all over the world and China is not up to ten times the population of Nigeria. This is a remarkable feat. I am not sure but I think the biggest of these ventures must be the Chinese Energy company that generates and distributes power for the over one billion Chinese. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1D9KuVMfML/ |
DMerciful:Have you sampled the opinion of the general populace?. Maybe you are interacting with people benefitting from the present arrangement. |
DMerciful:I am pro breakup. Most Yoruba are pro breakup. |
This will erase the right to create LCDAs by states. It is better that federal allocations go to states alone while a law is made that a certain percentage should be shared to local governments including LCDAs. The local governments should not deal directly with the federal by taking allocations directly. They are not federating units. The states are the federating units. This issue is over flogged because a local government can sue the state for withheld funds and even get paid damages if not that there is no true democracy at local government level in most states. |

In second tier Nigerian cities you can earn up to that only as a business owner but in first tier cities many people earn more than that as salaries. Those first tier cities are more expensive to live in. |
WhizdomXX:I have fought for resource control more than you until I realized it will not change much even for the oil bearing states. |
DMerciful:That is exactly what I am saying. |
DMerciful:I am just saying if the other problems are addressed, then the problem of lingual franca will remain. I am Yoruba and the population of Yoruba in west Africa alone is very high. The right way forward is to preserve their language as lingual franca in a sovereign country while English is just taught in schools. National language and identity is part of nation building. Same applies to other ethnic groups. |
Educationalserv:You are right in that Northerners are more grounded in the economy while southerners spend hard earned resources to travel and those are resources that could help the economy here but there is an advantage there too because they will have top notch experience in different fields and will be able to assist in nation building when the leaders here are ready to start. |
Educationalserv:It is better to direct your energy to making Northern state governments to generate revenue like Lagos and Rivers and not depend on federal allocations. In the best run countries in the world, fifty percent of GDP is taken as taxes for education, free health and infrastructure for all. Then the people that travel abroad apart from for prostitution are not poor people. Poor people are trapped where they are. They won't be able to raise the money to travel. All states that depend on allocations are lazy governments both North and South. They have tens of billions of dollars of GDP but have no IGR. That is laziness. |
ki02020:That is a solution. Gas can be transported in tankers by road. I wonder why President Onasanjo stopped Governor Attah and it was the same thing he did in Lagos |
nairalanda1:The Japanese still fought a civil war in the nineteenth century. Then we could say the Yoruba were as integrated with the west as was Japan. Written script was not a problem, there was Ajami already for centuries and the Latin script was already copied. Everything is copy and paste then you improve upon it |
