Segilola and the Osun government.

Segilola, a mining company in Iperindo Osun state was shut down for tax evasion by the state government
The Osun government is commendable for the revenue drive but one company should not be singled out for tax evasion since thousands of companies are guilty in the same Osun state and to fixate on only one for its size is unfair.
The way to approach the matter might be to waive past years and start from 2024. Any organization employing anybody must submit PAYE report to the state government and if they do not, they should expect to be shut down by the ministry of internal revenue. Bakeries, pure water factories, pharmacies and etc will prepare and submit their report by themselves keeping the receipt of their payment for the perusal of revenue officers.
The work of the revenue officers will be to make sure the government is not short changed by companies paying less than they should pay. Even Lagos is not doing this properly as most companies short pay heavily.

The IFA heritage institute

The Professor Wande Abimbola led IFA heritage institute in Oyo should transform into a chartered body which will be a peer of the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria ICAN that will register Awo Orunmilas in Nigeria. This is important as people like the Oluwo of Iwo and etc publicly labelled Babalawos as human ritualists in his bid to enlarge the coast of Islam.
