Nwangwu, popularly known as Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki, was kidnapped on Sunday at his new hotel, Triple P Hotel in Oba, Idemili North Local Government Area of the state, and was released in the early hours of Saturday after ransom payment.

The released kidnapped Anambra State native doctor, Chidozie Nwangwu, has revealed that those who abducted him had links to the infamous sit-at-home enforcers.
Sharing his experience in the hand of the hoodlums with his friends and well-wishers, on Saturday, Akwa Okuko said that if he had escaped the abduction, the kidnappers would have killed more people and kidnapped more guests in the Hotel.

The popular social media native doctor who had boasted of having numerous powers, claimed that his abductors want to kidnap 50 wealthy Anambrarians. He added that his kidnappers killed no fewer than 20 people in his presence.

“Let me tell you all what happened. While I was in the kidnappers’ den, I listened to the radio and saw how people were speaking all kinds of rubbish, so I decided to set the record straight," Daily Post quoted him to have said.

[b]“What happened was that I was there (at home) that day, at around 11:30, when someone named Okey Japan called me and said they were at my hotel, and that they were spending money, and had spent close to N300,000, and that they would have wanted me to be around.

“I obliged them and drove to the hotel all by myself, in my new car. No one came with me. I was there, and not up to 30 minutes, gunshot rented the air. People started running helter-skelter. I now went out to see what happening, and the people started shooting at me.

“They killed two of my security men. I don’t want to reveal much now, but I know that only two things can only save a man. If your charms do not save you, your money will save you.
“Anyone who has charms should have money. So the people took me into their car. If I wanted to run away, I would have run away, but I have seen those that were shot and I said if I leave, they will kill many people. A lot of people were lying down, and if I wanted to leave, they would have killed many.

“The story too would have been that the whole thing started when I came in, meaning that I was the one who brought in kidnappers. I decided to follow them to show that my hands were clean. What I did was to save many souls. If you think they took me because I ate people’s money, let me tell you I did not. If I eat your money, come to me I will give you money because I have money.

“People may be rejoicing that it happened to me but let me tell you, if the death that killed the rich, encounters the poor, it will crush him.
“This whole thing is related to these sit-at-home people, and they mentioned names of more people they will take, but it’s not something I can say now. They killed many in front of me. They killed up to 20 people before me. I did not take anyone’s money, they just came to kidnap and their target is people who have money. They wanted to kidnap as many as 50 people from my hotel that day, but I rather followed them,” he narrated.

IPOBs Simon Ekpa has been claiming responsibility for the carnage on his twitter page by also posting the videos and calling the police officers 'terrorists'.

Some gunmen have reportedly attacked the Abia State Commissioner for Trade, Investments, Commerce and Industry, Dr. Chibueze Ukaegbu and killed two mobile policemen.

SaharaReporters gathered that the incident happened on Tuesday at Old Express Road by Faulks near Samek Junction at Aba, the commercial nerve centre of Abia State.

According to eyewitnesses, the hoodlums ambushed the commissioner while he was returning from a meeting with the leaders of various markets in Aba. The Director of Media to the Deputy Speaker of Abia State was quoted to have said that the remains of the murdered police officers had been deposited in the mortuary.

Meanwhile, a video of the incident seen by SaharaReporters on Wednesday morning shows a police vehicle on fire while the remains of one of the slain cops were on the ground in a pool of blood.

Bystanders are overheard lamenting the attack. Someone said, "Whoever kills by the sword will surely die by the sword."

Meanwhile, sources told SaharaReporters on Wednesday morning that hundreds of policemen have taken over the Ariaria International Market, shooting and harassing innocent traders because of the incident. The source said, "Please, help us. This morning, policemen took over Ariaria International Market, shooting and harassing innocent traders because of the unfortunate killing of two police officers yesterday. The innocent traders and residents were not the ones that killed the policemen.
"Nigerian security agencies should stop being cruel when such incidents happen. Nobody is happy with this insecurity. If you attack innocent traders and residents, how will they trust you and provide information to the police to help them track criminals? The police should deploy intelligence to fight crime in society."


Efforts by SaharaReporters to speak with the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ogbonna Geoffrey, on the incident were not successful as he did not answer his calls.

At the time of filing this report, he had yet to respond to a text message sent to his mobile phone.

Looki here, you must think the International Committe of the Red Cross (ICRC) are learners when it comes to war and delivery of relief.

Ojukwu used Starvation as a propaganda tool even when ICRC came up with other provisions to bring relief in from Cameroon.
