You can change your mind but if you say you're staying at a hotel, the funds for the hotel must be accounted for in your budget and must be in your account. I've never heard of anyone who stated they were staying at a hotel and then changed to friend's house who had immigration issues. You could have actually wanted to stay at a hotel and then was offered hosting by a friend.

I however don't think this should be a constant trend. In my opinion, if a tourist constantly states they'll stay at a hotel generating #500 quid for the economy but everytime, end up staying with a friend, it could raise a red flag for me that the applicant is deceptive. If 10,000 tourists do this, it means they're giving the nation false expectation of 5m GBP in Hotel tourism revenue which is never realized. I don't think they track this though. Lol. Even illegal immigrants; they have a hard time keeping track of. But you never know how strict they'll get.

You can get up to $4000 in PTA or $5000 in BTA. There are no processing fees; just make the naira equivalent of the amount you want available based on the prevailing rate which is about 419. It is not a requirement but it is much more advantageous to buy BTA at 419 than to pay for the same dollars at 575.

1. There's a processing fee of #5000 for PTA forex transaction. You may not have noticed as it is very little when compared to the success of the transaction.
BTA, I think that business travel Allowance for business owners but you maybe right. However, to avoid meeting dead ends if for tourism and travel I advise you pick PTA. Thanks, have a great Sunday

Honestly in that regards I don't know which medium you could write to, but you may want to try the paid mail or call contacts.

They got my number from him, called me twice but I missed their calls(we don’t receive calls at work), saw the missed call an hour later after work.

Well, someone dear to me in the past was and was deniedin parts based on the missed call.. The aunt who was indicated in the application as part sponsor of the trip missed calls the from UKVI, when a decision was made that was included as one of the reasons.
However, your family friend's case might be different as they spoke with your husband and you missed the call, that is I am assuming that the checks made on him is sufficient to reach a positive decision, however, If it a decision had not yet been made and you wish and can write them, pls go ahead.. Never say never

pls visit the link justwise provided, you would learn better and get to know test providers that offer cheap test and one that would serve you best. Meanwhile, you need to do Day 2 test on your arrival if you are not fully vaccinated or not qualified as one, once you had successfully made an order you would also get a reference number you would need for your passenger locator form.

Why tourism when he is traveling for education?

the tradesystem.nov.ng has it "tourism and travel related services"- as such these funds are for his/her personal upkeep and for travel needs. if s/he went for educational s/he would have to supply some account details where the forex would be paid to, same with the BTA(which i suppose a business owner is entitled to about $20000). Honestly if s/he chooses that and called/approached his/her bank and they declined, then s/he would be instructed on the appropriate thing to choose.

The whole system is still new and to my best of knowledge banks are treating PTA for tourism, the same as would be for one going for studies once you had all requirements, because again they demand you have a return ticket for that as well even though you are going for studies.

On another thought, s/he could create an online bank account and try using that details where requested or get one from his/her bank and then choose educational fees(maintenance/upkeep) as would be applicable.

Contact Your Institution First

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) issued a circular in 2011 directing all banks to expand their existing ATM HELP DESK to handle all types of consumer complaints.
Therefore, if you have a complaint against your bank, you MUST first report the complaint at the bank/branch where the issue originated and then allow 2 weeks (it might be less in some banks) for the issue to be resolved.

If Your Bank Fails To Resolve Your Complain

If after lodging your complaint your Bank still fails to engage you and resolve the complaint within 2 Weeks as provided for in the ATM HELP DESK Circular, you have the right to escalate your complaint to the Consumer Protection Department (CPD) of the CBN.

You can only direct your Complaints to CPD upon the failure of your Bank/Financial Institution to resolve your complaint within the 2 weeks timeline given by the CBN.

There are criteria for cpd looking into an individual banking complaints, if you met all that and got a response to your complaint how does that interpret my epistles to ignorance?

Why I asked the question is that, I was told that I can only bring dependants under my student visa, that the moment my student visa expires and I get a Graduate Visa, that I can't bring dependants again. So, that's where my concern arose from.

Wait hang in there
Whilst you can at anytime bring your wife and kids as dependent, be aware at some point less than 6 months to the end of your program, at such time come with more restrictions.

cpd@cbn.gov.ng would only attend to a complaint if you had been given a reference number for that issue by your bank, and if the issue had been established beyond 14days by you with no resolve from your bank. Further cpd treat fraud cases, excess bank charges, and such. Requesting for forex and not being charged by your bank is not a fraud case, no excess charge has been done your account, and not sure how you would win it that they have not practiced a healthy banking with the delay.
Contact@cbn.gov.ng deal directly with commercial banks and other financial institutions and rarely have business with individuals so again messages to those mails would only return automated responses that may make you break your device and loose more sanity.

Call/visit your bank and if that don't work apply for the forex through another bank that will treat your request and get your application some progress. Like walk into your branch, tell them they gonna loose you like a customer, tell them their slow and lackadaisical attitude at your request is about to cost you your study opportunity and tell them to treat your request asap. That honestly would do a better result than writing to all those contacts up here.

But you may try writing the apex bank though, and read the automated responses.

11.6k that should be service charge for processing of forex for school fees, whilst 5k is service charge for PTA, different transactions and attract their respective bank/service charges...

You says you claimed, where you not single at that time? Of course it is within your legal right to marry at anytime, you could have her as dependant, but then your story would have to be consistent with your change in your status and evidences you would be submitting would have to convince the ECO that the union isn't sham or one trying to take advantage of the system.......

Well, if you decide to go for premium services, priority services, courier service all these would add to the £95.
Then if your place of stay for the month visit would be a castle you would have to provide financial documents to show you are able to adequately sustain yourself during your visit.
And then if you says you going for religious isolation/personal retreat, ie you gonna stay in a foldable tent you would be traveling with, fast for period of your visit then you could provide a lesser budget. These and more are your choices and circumstances. Hope this was helpful?

Meant they have received your application, and looking at your circumstances but some parts aren't clear and as such decision on your application may take longer time than the 15 WD.

I have filled my uk tourist visa application but yet to submit and I have some concern about the proof of fund.

I own a company and I earn about 5ook every month even though I spend more than that monthly. In the application I said will spend about 2.4 millin for the trip and I will be contributing 6ook from my personal account to the trip while my company which I am the sole proprietor of will support with 1.8m.

The question is, do have to maintain more than 6ook in my personal account and more than 1.8m in my business account for about 30 days before submitting the application?
Is the proportion of contribution good enough?

Yes. Filling that you intend to use your business funds for a tourist trip i think would only end with denial paragraph 4.2 quote. So sort that out pls and then other issues could be looked at.

If it wasn't hard, I don't see why you shared it on a public forum to seek advise or other persons thoughts after you had been told what to do by the agent.

Simple, if the school wishes to know your past immigration why not declare it, if that cost you the admission good, move on like you preach and apply to other schools that would offer you an admission regardless if you have had multiple visa denials in the past.

Okay go ahead don't declare, and maybe the school says scan all pages of your passport and submit or when you have been admittedyou get a mail or call that the immigration unit are looking into your immigration profile then you go into panic mode, and come here and say my people, gurus and ancient days right?
