harrybae:As soon as you have met/not met all requirements for student's application. However, best would be when you must have met all requirements. |
Sixtustony:1 month to date of start of studies.. |
Ayomide5651:Visit previous threads, you would find links on how to write UKVI and inquire specifics on your entry denial and immigration history that would help you in future applications for other countries as well as when next you apply to the UK. Getting a new passport is no way out. If you did so, it would only meant you have not learnt your lesson and the tricks yet. I have had POE denial in the past, though that wasn't at any UK border, but I had most visas on that passport including from the UK. Also, roommate we studied together had poe denial with a country that shares immigration info with the UK, and still got a UK visa within a period less than 6 months afterwards, in fact few days ago met up with him in Walsall. Would be kind to add; these been decades plus events and I acknowledge some policies to travelers who have had entry denial may have changed over the years and events that transpired in each of the denial were different.... BTW, did they bundle you to the rear seat of the plane? and then you would see your passport transferred from immigration to immigration, those processes and the stamp are worth making you want to go get another passport, but that would just be waste of money. It is what it is.. |
Ayomide5651:Sorry, but my understanding of the highlights lacking. Working there? home(Nigeria)? POE? |
Tomsss:Someone with your income and even less have shared success of their visa application here. You just need to put a genuine application and present your circumstances as they are. And let me add there is absolutely nothing wrong with your dad's input. All the best. |
Tomsss:Pls could you verbatim that and is that available on ww.gov.uk?, note the op circumstances s/he would use a sponsor, and if understood well not working( thus, i note that if the op has regular support from family, friends, relatives that can be declared as income) |
Ayomide5651:What happened that you were denied entry? |
Tomsss:Where did you get the highlight(rule) from? |
deuoessch:You stated that the relative wants to make a new application. Thus, i meant if the relative can't recall past travel history after all efforts to do so, whilst filling visa application, where you have; have you ever been granted, denied, issued or gain entry to the UK or whichever country that maybe and as applicable, the relative would need to answer yes and no where appropriate. And if further the application, the relative is to give specifics of the visa/travel or immigration history as in regards with the application, the relative should state- I am not able to recall due to lost of my previous travel documents, which in such an event, the police report would help support such claims. I hope this helped.. otherwise, I may not have understood your initial post |
deuoessch:pls, what bits did you not understand? |
deuoessch:Check your inbox for sign in details to previous applications, e-tickets for itinerary. If these are not accessible, get a police report for lost of documents, in future application answer yes if you have ever been issued entry clearance, visited the country or as would be applicable. Reasons and specifics of visit-write can't recall due to lost of documents which the police report will help support such claims. Good luck |
princetx:Tbh there is/are no specifics, it depends on your circumstances at home, during the trip and return to country of departure. |
Sweetkid:That's self explanatory. |
princetx:Quote the 12 days trip would cost you. |
UserTee:I think you would do a better application this time. BTW middle March? (i.e any date from 15th March) from my calculations you would have less than 15 WDs(not always the case though) for standard application, or you could go for priority services to get a decision within March. Note to self, no one knows what news around the world would cos unnecessary delays at a given diplomatic post, and if a decision is not reached within the validity of the current ct600, the eco may/may not request for a valid one at a later time. On the other hand you may wait for April/May, request for a future ct600 from your representative, revamp your documents and put in your application at a later time. You can't afford a post-term, nor an embryonic application at this time. Regards. |
UserTee:Hello Why did you and your representative not provide these documents during the applications? further 3 opportunities were presented yet you and representative provided an outdated version(in the refusal the eco sounds like a parent, who wishes well for the child but see the child wasting golden opportunities that many of his/her peers do not have). That you and the representative presented this required documents immediately to support your appeal makes me wonder why was the delay initially?. Then your knowledge that an appeal could take 6-12 months before it being listened to, note that does not even guarantee an end in sight, but more like initial review. Furthermore, you understanding that the current ct600 2020-2021 is valid for a year period. You have had to wait till March before you feel you have a better chance of re-applying with the CT600 2020-2021 makes me wonder why the blunderbuss approach. so what if there is a delay in the application such that a decision is received in April at which time the current Ct600 becomes invalid and you guys get asked for a future one at that time, you guys would probably delay presenting one, until after a refusal, right? With due respect to you, there's clear evidence of gross indecision which if not acted on could only keep attracting refusals. Answering to your question, each application is decided on the merit it deserves, as such whilst addressing the previous concerns as was stated in previous refusal make no mistakes, not to ensure other aspects of the application are readdressed as well as would be applicable to ensure a successful application. Thanks |
Abby2020:Can you request from UKVI your immigration records, like quote that recent application, your travel documents have returned without a vignette neither have any mail dropped in your email. subjectaccessrequest@homeoffice.gov.uk All the best mate |
oyin000000:1. All measures stated should do. 2. Income then thick off regular income from family friends and relatives. But be aware you would have to state how much she receives and the regularity of such support. This could be from any persons but a good history of such active role in regards to her upkeep would be required. If that is not applicable you may chose others or no income, but MAY need more explaining than previous. 3. Since another sister( 28years and working like you mentioned) intends to travel with her, if financially buoyant she may take it up, to say she would sponsor the trip herself(i.e for herself and the minor sister), get an accommodation for the applications that is withoutyou sponsoringany parts of the trip.. Not implying this but your status may not be sufficient and convincing enough to the eco like would be the previous, but then, again she should be aware, she would need to show she has the legal rights and custody of the minor, and if she's single, she doesn't need consent of anyone or other persons to travel with the minor(since the minor's parents her late) but must be able to convince the eco financially and with home ties that the trip won't cause any negative impact to their circumstances after the visit. Finally you can't fill permanent when not permanent. As long you have a visa its temporary but with longer stay grace. |
oyin000000:1. Yes, If your aunt and uncle have any formal/legal/court documents that supports them as her current guardian, otherwise go with parents name, if requested in future you could provide any of your late parents identity card(government issued most preferable) and death cert. to support your claims. They could both use grandma's address since it is fact applicable to them at this time. 2. Would be appropriate to put yours/siblings or relatives who have been actively sponsoring her. Thus if you want to put yourself, you should be aware you would need to support with evidence how you have done so, either by remittance of funds or others. 3 &4. In your letter you would need to be explicitly clear on her well-being, safety regarding she is а minor, whoever would be traveling with her or consent to her visiting you must do so backing it with an official document(s) that he/she has the legal authority to do so. 16 years of age, most appropriate once she turns 18 she could travel on her own. 4. Write/call to know when her passport will arrive as well wait. Both measures should be taken. Best of lucks |
ammierie:Well, there is always room for improvement they say, thus, if at the time of his application and as you have noted the business was still new, it meant the eco might have perceived that the business could not have generated such an income stated by him, and also maybe an absent of a tax clearance cert. had further cast doubt on such earnings. Now, the business is quite few months old, he could decide to pay tax, evidence of assets the business has generated/acquired. Mind you student's visa application is quite different to applying for a tourist visa, and if you asked, that alone is a change in his personal circumstances and he must now make efforts to demonstrating that he would be able to sponsor himself, and have is dependent family on such visas and as such the previous eco concerns may not be the same for a future application. Also next time try to doctor/blur some personal details when posting documents that may have such info. best of lucks |
ammierie:It is not an unusual term or phrase ecos sometimes use on refusal letter. It only means if in future applications his circumstances has not changed(positively) such that the application is convincing to the eco, then a refusal may be made again in for that application. |
Agape123:Call/visit your bank, possible your bvn is not linked to the email address. |
dobec:Good day, What supporting documents did you submit with your child's application ie; 1. Students admission letter, academic records and promotion to next academic year, is your child's school on vacation and did you include this in his application? 2. Did you submit a positive bank statement to show your financial capabilities, a CAC of your businesses that is active on the cac.ng.gov, or as such notes stated in the refusal letter from the ECO, 3. What supporting documents did his uncle provide him with? ILR, passport, payslips, bank statement, p60? 4. In addressing concerns of child welfare and well-being, did you and the boy's dad present a letter of consent and assure the ecos of the minor's well-being and safety before, during and for a safe return to Nigeria after his trip? Nothing to be worried and disturbed on about, is either been few errors from the eco or you(the mother) whilst you were filling out your child's application and supportingdocumentsprovided, all that needs to be done is correct them errors and reapply. There's absolutely nothing wrong sending your child for vacation to his uncle if you can meet all necessary requirements for such visit. His uncle is no witch or "village people" that would witch or lynch him. Minors are mostly dependents and as such most of their day to day needs are met by their parents and third-parties(guardians, relatives and etc), i don't see what is illegal and apologetic about that to be honest. So yes, again nothing criminal or fishy about sending a child to an uncle or aunt for a nice time. Absolutely nothing. I refuse to believe most of those were lacking based on your travel history you have written. But would like to know if you do not mind me asking. Thanks |
Thegamingorca:15 WD from day of biometrics (standard application) 5Wd for priority application from day of biometrics. But delays could also happen. Though, they are consistently working to conclude applications within normal time-frame. |
Hi leef, thanks for taking your precious time to pen something meaningful to me,pls could you pls give me a break down on how to go about staying in an hotel, feeding transportation, flight and will total to about 700k as my salary is 300k and my balance is less than 2m. Thanks For a break down of budget kindly refer to few ops @AmeliaT(permit me for the reference) However, if you would be doing it all yourself 700k is enough but not convincing. Least you want to do is put out an application where an unforseen circumstance(s) knocks your application out with possible expenses such storm may present. My thoughts, 1m won't be bad budget and that is with your 1,8m bal. Similarly you may wish to wait for next pay day/months to have a more positive bal., since from your current calculations, your estimated bal., would be 1,8m. At the time being, visit ticket, hotel, hostel sites(some offer breakfast), go for average(i.e not least nor extreme) quotations, such that would fit your circumstances, add with other expenses, make an application that demonstrates your budget is flexible and leaves you with some miscellaneous funds within your budget. All the lucks for a successful application |
switch900:Right, from personal point, i would advise rather than have your cousin involved you may be better off without. Get on cheap hostels and hotel booking sites, pick a place for your duration of visit such that it fits your budget. You may then want to state in the further section details of the application, that during your visit you intend to catch up with your cousin you have not seen for a decade, get to know his new family, also including the wedding in your itinerary would do good. You may have to increase your budget since your cousin would not be involved in any parts. In doing so, you may wish to make things clear to the ECO that traveling is one of your hubbies, and England is atop the list. Stating, I have done savings in past years to ensure such dream comes through and have it ticked off the list, and that I feel I have adequately saved for this purpose(s). Which is why I'm willing to splash xxxx amount of funds on visiting the UK at this time, and in doing this, I am being pretty sure that this visit will have no negative effects on my finances or other financial commitments I have(i.e i'm assuming you have your own family or dependants or as would be the case). Note: Let me add, your current budget is enough, even so i would say was the previous budget to be honest and It is within your applicant's right if you still wish to go with cousin in your future application. However, I feel his/her personal circumstances in the UK has not been convincing enough to the ecos that s/he could sufficiently host you, and possibly maybe relationship relevance between you and the said cousin has not been convincing to the ECOs. So have thoughts on about changing plans but not the goal (which is to visit the UK) and see how things play out. Cheers |
switch900:Pls what documents did your cousin previously provide you with, and what's the reason your cousin presented in the letter of invite as reason(s) for inviting you or paying for part(s) of your trip.? |

Good day Sir/Ma Please who is the inviting you this time? I mean your relationship with the person inviting you..... |
ozymes:No worries Sir/Ma. Wish you a fab week... |
Generalkoye:Meaning if you presented a divorce certificate now, you would be lying as you were never married, and if you kept up with previous declaration thats still a lie. Either may earn you a 10 years ban if due forensic are to be done on your marital status and records on that. Might think of going clean and have peace but this again may also attract some ban for previous decit, but you cant keep that going.... |
ozymes:It is still applicable if unvaccinated or not fully vax. In fact you may be denied boarding your flight and entry for these reasons if you dont present a negative pcr done 48 hours within your departure from Nigeria and a reference number for day 2 pcr test as well a plf. Reference last updates came into effect 4:00am 11.02.2022. Some changes would happen this week, but as of the time of writing these such news haven't been made yet. |
Generalkoye:Sorry, what is your current and previous status if I may ask? |
